((Well, the most obvious and easiest one is wolf, but they're so cliche man, so I strongly suggest against it. You want powered, huh? I reccomend fox, or, I suppose, if they're magic, kitsune. It's a bit different and just as fun, and you can have them be magical, since foxes have always been little magic mischief makers. If you did, I would totally join. o///o))
