"Nothing really," she said, twirling a lock of hair around her index finger. "How about you?" April was excited that it was Evan. She would remember to save his number into her phone. And then her huge weimaraner came up and jumped on her bed. She stroked his head. His name was Samson, but April called him Sammy for short.

"Sure. I've got to get out of the house. It's so boring here. I can't wait until I can leave," she said, letting out an annoyed sigh. "My parents smother me, treating me like a baby. It's terrible!" She threw her free hand in the air to add emphasis, although he couldn't see it. She climbed out of her bedroom window onto the roof, and sat there, swinging her legs over the edge.

"Wanna got to the lake?" She said, smiling wider. She had a surprise to show him if they went to the lake. Of course, it consisted of her mini-pack of wolves. She yawned, and waited for Evan's response. She liked Evan. He was cool.

((Fail.))

"Um... This is embarassing, but I don't have a car, so you'll have to drive me there..." April tapped her fingers on her thighs. She then said, "If you'll pick me up at noon, that would be cool." She climbed back into her room, and sat on her bed once more.

April smiled and said, "Okay. I'll see you tomorrow. It's late, so I'm going to go to bed. Bye!" She hung up. She was excited. The faster she fell asleep, the faster the next day would come, and she would get to spend time with Evan. April placed her cellphone on her bedside table, and leaned back in her bed. She didn't get underneath the sheets. She simply laid there. And finally, she fell asleep.

It was almost noon, and April was waiting on the steps of her house. She was wearing a pair of ripped jeans, and a faded t-shirt that had her favorite band's logo on it. She wore a swimsuit underneath it just in case they decided to go swimming. She had her wallet in her hand, which had her keys attached to them, and she had her cellphone in her pocket.

"Yep," April said, smiling. "Hurry up. We need to go before my parents embarass me." She laughed and climbed into the passengers' side of Evan's car. She pulled her hair over one shoulder and waited for him to start driving.

((Failure. Again.))

"So," April said, her face straight. "Have you ever been to the lake? You know there are wolves there, right." Her face curled into a smirk. She had a name for each and every one of the wolves in her mini-pack. She couldn't wait to see them. She hadn't visited them in a few weeks. She had tamed them... somewhat. They would allow her to pet them, but they were a bit wary of strangers.

"You could say that." April said, twirling a lock of hair around her finger. She looked out of the window and said, "Oh look, we're here!" They were in the beach-like part of the lake. There weren't many people there, but April liked it that way. She liked to be alone, given that she was claustrophobic. She waited for Evan to stop the car so that she could get out.

"First, I'm taking you to my hideout. The wolves hang around there." April grabbed Evan's hand and began to walk. She walked into the woods a little ways, and came to a small clearing that wasn't too far from the water. She looked at him and said, "Don't think I'm crazy when I howl." And then she tilted her head up into the sky, and let out one, long, steady note. A howl. Before long, a bunch of wolves came up to her, and began sniffing Evan.

"Don't worry, Evan. They won't hurt you." She said as one of the wolves tackled her playfully. She pushed the wolf off of her, laughing as she did so.

"Ugh," she said as the wolf licked her face. "Lola, stop it."
