Ez's dress was now brown and black from blasts of ashes, but she thought of a way to stop fire. If fire can't put out fire, can water? She took a metal ring out of her bag, then held it so the hollow inside hooped around Maleck's head. As soon as it was perfect, a large blast of water came in a circular wave, blasting Maleck to the edge of the forest. Ez was also knocked backward. "Stupid ring." She tossed it between her hands, looking at it, then tossed it into the new lake. She smirked, thinking of it a job well done... Until she just passed out two minutes later.

Ez woke up in about eight minutes, sitting up as if shocked with electricity. She stood up, unsheathing her dagger. She turned a full 360 degrees, and found Volkenagrim passed out a few feet away. If he were still Maleck he would be laying ontop of her. Ez kept her distance, but threw a blanket on him and ran off. While she did so, she slowed down to stare at her face on wanted posters on every other tree. She stopped at one blank tree, particularly large. She walked straight through it and emerged with a white dress, boots, and apparently her hair had gotten longer and also turned white. Her skin was almost pale, and her ears were a bit pointed. She pulled her hood up and sprinted to her treehouse.

Ez listened to Lydia, then followed her voice to the hole. She leaned over the hole, her long hair reaching half-way down. "Need help? I'll be a minute!" She leaped up and pulled up a flower. The roots were seemingly long, but when Ez sprinkled an herb over the bud, the roots expanded across the forest. She brought the flower to the hole and lowered the roots. Her new appearance masked almost everything but her voice and eyes. "Ashlynn at your service." She backed up, waiting for them to climb.

Ashlynn tilted her head much like a cat, then did a flip into the hole. She tugged on Jabari a little bit for some reason, then raised her hands up. Jabari floated up to the top of the hole. She tilted her head to the side and smirked. She climbed up the roots, then leaped out of the hole. "Come on everybody, you all need to come up too."

Ashlynn flicked her head to the right, and Volkenagrim smacked into a tree next to her. "I really need to work on that..." She climbed onto a branch above him, and dropped down a cold wet cloth. It landed perfectly on his forehead. "There."

Ashlynn opened her hand, positioned in a claw. "Wait." Jabari began walking in place then stopped. Ashlynn walked up to him and looked at his ribs. She pulled out a book. "Open." The lock twisted and out came sparkling pages. "Heal." Jabari's wounds began to close up. The book exploded into air, and Ashlynn smirked. "There you go, by the way Ayren is over there." By over there, she meant al the way across the country, but thousands of leaves, trees, houses, and people splitted open so everyone could see Ayren's ship.

Ashlynn tilted her head so far it touched her shoulder, then became a small white fox. "I know where Ayren is, and I can get her. Where are you going?" But then she dropped down. She turned back into a fairy and stood up. "Sorry, wrong one..." She ran off in the direction of Ayren's ship and sprouted large wings, they were curled but also a bit edged and rough. She then jumped up and flew.

Ashlynn huffed, flying was hard work. "Fly." Jabari began hovering in mid-air. Ashlynn did a quick flip and landed on Ayren's ship. As she slowly crept to Ayren's cabin, she felt a sharp pain in one wing. "I hate all these new weapons..." Ashlynn craned her head to see a huge sword lodged into her wing, silver blood seeping out. And the weilder of the sword? Red.

Red crept around a corner, just to find a young fairy trying to get in a cabin. He smirked and stabbed her wing. "Gotcha."

Ashlynn looked like she was choking, silver blood spluttering over the knife and all over the ground and into the water.

Red smirked. "No need to worry... I've got what I need." He screwed a lid over a jar filled with Ashlynn's blood, then pulled out the knife. Ashlynn fell to the ground, fainting from blood loss.
