Graypaw padded sedately along, wondering if there was anything interesting along the border. Shadowfur looked at Graypaw and motioned for him to stop. *Can you scent anything unusual?* she asked, startling him out of his reverie. Graypaw opened his mouth, many scents washing over the scent glands in his mouth. *Hmmm...I can scent a mouse, vole and...wait! I smell carrion, but it's mixed with cat scent. What does that mean?* Shadowfur looked at him in surprise. *You can smell that? I must tell Swallowbeauty!* she hurried to Swallowbeauty's side and whispered in her ear what Graypaw had smelled.

Swallowbeauty was shocked. "It couldn't be MountainClan.." She murmered. "They're too clean. What about rouges?" She then looked at Graypaw. "Remind me to report this, Graypaw. For now, we'll coninue the patrol."

Graypaw nodded, shocked that he had discovered something so important. Then, realising he had known the scent all along, the words were out of his mouth before he could stop them...*I know them! I was uh...wandering the forest when I was a kit, remember when I disappeared? and these rogues found me and clawed my ear to show that i wasn't wlecome there. They smelled the same!* he pointed to his ear as he said this. It was clawed, a large gap.

ooc; Alright. Can I bring in two more characters? xP Med. Cat for Lightclan( I made the other one Darkclan Med. cat on accident) and a warrior for Darkclan? There's barely any Darkclan cats. ;p

Dreampaw stared at her brother. *That's what happened? You told me you got stuck in a thorn bush and tore it when you got out. You lied to me! I thought you could trust me. I guess not!* Dreampaw spat bitterly Graypaw, anger simmering in her eyes. She turned and walked back to Swallowbeauty.

Shadowfur gazed at Graypaw. *Why couldn't you trust us. I know you were only a kit but you knew that they were bad. You should have told us.* She shook her head slowly and Graypaw whimpered quietly. *I'm sorry, it's just that...that it was so scary and I didn't want to think of it.*
