Just letting ya'll know but this is a LITERATE RP for people who are deive and will put some depth into their posts. :P Thankies.

PLOT:

This RP takes place in the dog fights... typical, eh? But I'm rusty with RP and want to start in familiar territory. Its in New York City where life is hard and dog fights go unnoticed. The dog fights are brutal and depending on the owners - sometimes fight to the death.

RULES:

-No talking for other characters or posting for other characters. Example: You have a character named Thunder and he's fighting someone named Shade. "Thunder attacked Shade and Shade yelped, begging not to get hurt." You are allowed to talk or fight with someone, but they decide how they reply.

-No killing characters without permission. They decide if they want to die. :P

-No winning right off the bat. Ex: "Thunder attacked Shade and won easily, leaving Shade on the ground." You can't just "win". It doesn't work like that. Not that you can't win a fight, but give others a chance to try out their character.

- No swearing. It's annoying. :P

-As I said, this is a literate RP. Posts like these are UNACCEPTABLE:

Example 1: "thunder rored and ataked him w/ hapynes"

Example 2: "Thunder decided to go to sleep." (You have to add depth.)

-No powers or unrealistic strength.

- Lurkers will be given cookies.

-Use your good judgement on these rules.

MY CHARACTER:

CHARACTER:

Name: Klaus

Breed: German Shepherd Dog

Gender: Male

Looks: A lean teenage canine with roughed-up features and a rugged charm to him. He has a big bushy tail and big paws - he's sorta a comical character. He has big ears with tufts of fluffy fur and a sleek body. You can see his ribs but he's not emaciated - he's generally fit with some major muscle along his hindquarters and chest. He has a "mane" around his neck and down his spine AKA he has floofy neck fur <3 and has poofy hair across his back and down his backside. His eyes are a chocolate brown and his fur is a deep, deep red color with a breed-standard black saddle, muzzle, and eyebrows. He also has black paws and a half red - half black tail. His has a chunk out of his ear and a thick, short black scar on his muzzle that isn't easily noticed because... well, his muzzle's black.

Personality: As I said - very comical. Humorous, flirtatious... as I also said - a rugged charm to him. He's vey mischevious and smooth but has a kind heart. He is friendly and couragous - a dashing dog with good features, cooky antics and a loving heart.

Fighting tactics: He likes to distract his opponents by engaging them in casual conversation. He's smooth with words so this comes in handy. He also has a mighty leap that is swift and powerful. His jaws are mostly used for joking but they've also got about 300 pounds of bite force to come crunching down on the bones of his worst enemies. His quickness and agility comes in handy too.

History: Although Klause is light-hearted, he gets grim and unhappy when it comes to his past. Nothing really dramatic compared to the other dog's in the fights stories... but maybe the most painful of them all. He was owne by a boy. He loved him like a dog loves a man - typical doggy bliss. Klaus was named by the boy and loved him like a brother. But when the family moved to New York (Can the fights take place in New York) They realized the city wasn't the place for their goofy canine. So they sold him to a "nice" man who was really a dog fighter. Welll..... bla bla bla. But whenever he escapes (quite often because of his quick wits) he sits and waits at the doors of the now-abandoned home where his family used to live. By the way post "Shep is awesomesauce" with your form so I know you read this. I didn't post it to amuse myself, thank you very much.

"Aren't you antsy, devildog." commented Klaus's owner gruffly. Klaus gave him a look. "Watch yourself, blubberboy," Klaus taunted. "These fangs are made for biting and your skin is made for ripping." But despite Klaus's hackles raising and his lip curling, his owner dragged him towards the fighting ring. Klaus sighed, giving a mighty growl as he was thrust into the ring.

Name: Zre

Breed: husky

Gender: Female

Looks:  She is a well built teenaged canine for her age.  she is quite smaller then many of the dogs who challenge her, but her size should not cause one to underestimate.  She has a deep black pelt with the breed required bushy tale, that has a slight curl.  Her paws are fairly sized with claws sharponed to the points-talons as her master calls them-.  She has deep emerald green eyes that can send shutters through even the biggest dogs that face her.  Her chest and neck have quite a lot of fur causing it to appear "fluffy" locks of black. 

Personality:  She can seem cold hearted or harsh but has her moments.  She is quite swift footed and uses this on and off the fight ring.  She is seductive and cunning, knowing how to manipulate foes into doing what she wants.  However, she can be kind to those she trusts, and has faire qualities, such as a quite lovely feminine build and her eyes can usually tell her emotions.

Fighting Tactics:  She blocks out the taunts from male dogs who try to distract or take advantage of her, and instead plays along and pretends that she is innocent and weak, and then lunges at the least predictable second.   However her swift feet often carry her to victory... but her powerful jaws and sharpened "talons" always come in handy as well.

History:  Isn't spoken of to often, for Zre herself is the only one who knows.  She grew up in a home with a loving family at first, but when only a pup was sold to a life of the fights by her family when they realized that they were moving away and couldnt bring the young puppy with them... of course, they didnt know their housetrained dog would soon become the face of dog fighting.  She was bought by her current master whom has never treated her well unless she won a fight, which was quite often.  After much struggle, her strength caught up to her and she soon learned to fight and take care of herself.  She never looks back, and her past has left her scarred for many years to come.

Additional Info:  Earned the nickname of "The Grim" or "Grim" from her first fight, when the humans realized that she was swift and could outrun numerous opponents, finishing them with powerful blows despite her small size for a dog of her breed.  She was named Grim for her quick victories, much like the grim reaper's kills are quick and to the point.

Intro:

"Aww... look at the pretty lady I got in for me." a overly cocky rotweiller cooed, his lip curled as his teeth snapped dangerously as he began to circle the shadowy husky.  "What's a lovely dear like you doing in the fights?" he continued in a cold taunt.

"I-I dont know...  everything was a blur.  Surely a big, well built canine like you would go easy on a girl like me." Zre whispered seductively as she rubbed her muzzle against her opponents, who instantly shook her away, and Zre continued the circle.

"Face me like a real fighter.  The humans wouldn't of put you in if you didnt have skills." the rotweiller spat as her released a cold snarl from his throat..followed quickly by a loud bark which made the humans rowdy.  His mucsles pulsed under his blacked coat as his fur pricked dangeorusly.  "I'll make this quick for you." the dog howled lunging foward in a frenzy of snaps.

Zre manuevered out of the rotweiller's way, catching his hind leg in her own jaws and throwing him to the dirt... the bones shattered in her grip and the dog howled in pain.

"You little..." the dog spat, forcing himself up and rebounding... lunging with his claws outstretched.  "This is not time for dancing..."

Zre's swift feet carried her gracefully out of the way as she too rebounded and this time caught her opponent's neck in her powerful jaws and thrashed her head until the cold taste of rust rolled off her lip.  She heard the bones creak as she slammed her foe to the dirt, after several moments of silence and unmoving... the dog gave a lowly whimper and submitted himself to the face of defeat, as a large puddle of crimson began to dye the floor.  "Worthless piece of garbage" Zre snarled in a bitter tone, her eyes near slits in fury

The crowd of onlookers exploded into cheers and chants..."Grim!...Grim!...Grim!"

"Not bad," Klaus raised an eyebrow as he watched the female dog in the ring finish a bulky rottie. His words were muffled by a muzzle. His eyes even widened a bit when he saw her grab his neck. The wheels in his brain started rotating.

Zre smirked, "You didnt do so bad yourself." she responded cooly, before her master sealed her lips with a thick muzzle.  The she-dog snarled as they did so and her tail swished in annoyance.  The man gripped her scruff and shook her about.  "Silence, 'Grim', save your strength for the ring." he replied in a rough tone.  Zre glared at him in utter hatred and obliged.

OoC: Yes, Happy. Fun: Maybe our characters fight? Some action?

"Hate to see you go, but love to watch you leave," Klaus murmured as the female dog was pulled off. He turned -- to look into his master's eyes.

"Your gonna win tonight, Devildog, or else." He stuck a muzzle on Klaus roughly, handling the young dog's  snouth with grubby, agressive hands. Klaus heaved a sigh, looking into his owner's eyes... and... "Check and mate, loser!" Klaus woofed coolly as he leapt in the air, wrapping his leash around his owner's hand and pulling, making the large men fall to the ground. Klaus pranced around to look him in the eye - "The fatter they are, the harder they fall." Klaus chuckled.

Zre was taken by surprise as her master yanked her back to the dirt ring.  The metal sides were dyed with a deep maroon from the fights that had previously taken place.  These marks were a permanent scar depicting the horrific fights that took place.  Zre snarled lowly and thrashed her head in disapproving... her master held her tight and pulled her face to his mouth so that his breath could be felt on her dark face.  "Listen to me Grim.  You have never lost a fight since you were even a amature fighter.  Dont loose this one." he spat and zre released a low growl.  Her master ignored this sign of hatred and unhooked the muzzle shoving the she-dog into the ring.  Her claws kicked up dust as she turned around and snapped her jaws at her worthless human employer.  She listened to the announcer of the fights come on. 

"And for her second match in a row... welcome back, GRIMMM!"  her eyes scanned the onlookers, searching for her next opponent... she didnt like the idea of fighting twice in a row.  "And her opponent.... DEVILDOGGGG!" the announcer threw from his booming voice. 

Zre watched the onlookers exchange bets... and paced about the ring.

Name: Haze

Breed: Black German Shepherd

Gender: Female

Looks: A lean, mean fighting machine. Powerful muscles and a thin, powerful figure. Scars dance across her face, and she is a very pretty dog. Long, slender legs, a bushy tail, short pointed ears.... very oppisate of Klaus. She is sturdy and sleek - Klaus is long-legged, still to grow into his ears etc. Haze has a very beautiful face with amber eyes that shine out from her black visage. Her eyebrows show her emotions.

Personality: She is sarcastic and icy to those she doesn't know well or doesn't trust... but she is good with words, like Klaus, and warms up eventually. I will RP the rest out...

History: Rp it out. :P

Additional Info: She (like Klaus) is interested in a mate... any takers? :P

Intro: Haze's eyes narrowed. Her ears pricked up and she could hear her heart thud.. thud... thud... the crowd roared in her eyes. She lowered her body, thick muscles rippling under a shadow-black coat. Her powerful legs bunched up beneath her.... and she leapt into the fray, fearing nothing.

Zre listened to the announcer, Devildog was one of the best, so she had heard, she didnt show this slight distraction on her face as she looked over her foe.  A dog has never wished HER good luck... "thank you.  You as well." she breathed expressionlessly.  Her lip began to curl into a menacing snarl, her ears laid flat against her skull in threat.  She pricked her fur, trying to enhance her size slightly...knowing that this was one of her largest disabilities...her size.  Her claws dug into the revealed earth as she listened to the pattern of her own paws against the soil, as she stalked about the ring, readying herself for what may be one of the toughest fights yet.
