Caitlyn nodded, and said uncaringly, "That's my name," She leaned against the door of the compartment, "And apparently they don't." She looked at Sebastien for a few seconds, as if trying to recognise him from somewhere. "What year are you, again?" she asked.

Sebastien ducked his head to hide a small smile and he nodded his head in agreement, folding his arms and straightening. "Five. I'm in the senior Quidditch team." He said with a smile. He recognized the look she gave him and privately wondered why he was so unmemorable. Most people remembered him because he towered most of the Slytherin house.

"Oh!" Caitlyn exclaimed, "Yeah, you are, aren't you? I've seen you play; you're pretty good. You're a beater, right?" Of course! How did she not recognise him? She'd seen him in Quidditch games all of last year. A genuine smiled flickered across Caitlyn's face, before she turned around and knocked on the door of the compartment once more. "You guys done yet?" she asked, trying to sound as patient as possible.

"Yeah, we're good," Melanie called out, knowing that Caitlyn had been talking to someone else. Although she couldn't quite make out the conversation, she suspected it was another Slytherin. Those freaks only ever conversed among themselves; they walked around like they were better than all the other houses. The thought made her roll her eyes. Mason, on the other hand, had definitely heard Caitlyn and the unfamiliar voice making fun of Gryffindors on the other side of the doors. He didn't dare say anything to Melanie, though. He sort of liked Caitlyn. She seemed sweet, and he didn't want Melanie to kick her out of the compartment, so he sat with his eyes on his feet and his hands folded in his lap, lips sealed.
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

A small glow of satisfaction flickered through his eyes and he nodded, casually jerking his head toward her compartment. "Good luck in there. You'll need it." He said, with a genuine smile taking place on his lips. He wallked past her, calling over his shoulder. "I'll see you in the common room then." Before he swung himself back into his compartment, allowing Caius to gnaw his finger for a couple of seconds, petting the small kitten and looking out the window.

Caitlyn laughed at Sebastien's comment. "See you round." she said, as he was leaving. She opened the door and walked inside, smiling at Melanie and Mason in greeting. As she sat down, Caitlyn pushed her newly brushed hair over her shoulders. She caught a glimpse of herself in the reflection on the window, and straightened her green and silver Slytherin tie.

Violet jumped slightly at the sudden contact, "N-n-no." Violet said before shaking her head, "I mean yes." she said.
Twilight looked at Lilith, "That's going to be a very interesting friendship." she said, "Very interesting indeed."

Kyle sat nervously in his seat. He had changed into his robes and was now waiting anxiously for the train to finally arrive at Hogwarts. He had heard that the first years got to enter the castle in a special way, but everyone he knew refused to tell him how , despite his constant asking. Needless to say, he was completely stoked to finally go to the castle and see it for himself, for he had heard it was a place of wonder. Even Willow want her normal self, for she seemed anxious to get there as well. Kyle started out the train window, completely lost in his fantasies of Hogwarts.

Meg sat back in her chair now that she had cleaned up the compartment, completely lost in thought. She easily and constantly spaced out, so most people would not be surprised to find her staring at the wall with a glazed look in her eyes. She was thinking about the sorting, the new Griffindors, and the fact that she was supposed to lead them to the house this year and tell them the password. She was admittedly quite nervous about this, because if she messed up then a whole bunch of Griffindors would get a bad impression of her from the start. What if she didn't remember the password? What if she got them lost? Her head was filed with what ifs, and it really scared her.

As the train slowed to a stop, Azon got up from his seat and put the few things he had out back into his bag. He took Aseia's cage in one hand and the bag in the other, trying not to bump Aseia on anything. He opened the compartment door, and let Meg go out first. He had to squeeze his way into the stampede of students that had all but trapped him inside the compartment. Azon followed the crowd until they got to the nearest door, and jumped down onto the concrete pavement below. Pushing his way through the swarm of people, he managed to get to the carriages and find a seat in one of them before they all got fillled up.

Madison pushed her way through the great swarm of students trying to exit the train, and got off, with Finlay, who had meowed so loudly to be let out of her cage, trailed along behind her. She hopped aboard a carriage and waited for it to start moving.

Ridge, Daphne, and Arabella waited until most of the students had left the train before even attempting to escape from their compartment. They got off the train, and went their separate ways; Ridge, to the carriages, Arabella, with the other first years to the boats, and Daphne, who had taken it upon herself to help any lost students (particularly stray first years) find their way to the castle, stayed just outside the train, directing the odd confused person on which way to go. She joined Ridge in a carriage before long, though.
Arabella walked off on her own, making her way towards the voice calling "First years this way!". Ridge had told her about the boats they had to sail across the great lake, although he had made it out to be some sort of awful challenge. In reality, it seemed like a peaceful ride to the castle when she got in her boat with a few other students.
((Since Meg and Spirit are gone for a week, should we put the roleplay on pause for a bit after everyone's off the train? I'll bump it up every few days until they're back))
