((But how would they play against each other? Obviously the junior team couldn't play against the senior team, right? I mean, you could just make a team for each house and have any unfilled positions be NPCs. I just don't understand how that would work, I'm sorry if I'm asking stupid questions, lol. I think I'm gonna go with Hufflepuff for him.))

((Oh, okay! That makes sense. c: I'll change Melanie's position to beater, then, since there's already a seeker on the Senior team. |D EDIT: Oops, was looking at the wrong list. Nevermind, she's still a Seeker then! Haha))

Caitlyn kissed her mother on both cheeks. "Remember what I told you, dear." Ambrosia said, and brushed a stray hair behind Caitlyn's ear. Caitlyn nodded, and smiled up at her mother. "I'll see you at Christmas," said Ambrosia, "Remember to write often." "I will, mother." Caitlyn said. She got one last hug before she had to get on the train. She waved goodbye to Ambrosia when a Gryffindor boy helped her get her luggage on the train. "Thank you." she said, flashing him her sweetest smile. He followed her to an empty compartment, towing her trunk behind him. She took it from him and put it on the seat. The boy moved to join her in the compartment, but she shook her head. "I'm waiting for my friends." she lied. He looked disappointed, but didn't move. "Goodbye." she said, waving her hand to shoo him. He mumbled a goodbye and left to go find a seat somewhere else. Caitlyn sat down by the window of the train and looked out at the platform. To entertain herself, she caught the eye of some students, winked flirtatiously at them and laughed to herself at their reactions.

Arabella wove her way excitedly through the masses of people on Platform 9 3/4, with Ridge and Daphne struggling to keep an eye on her so she didn't get lost. They had told her multiple times to slow down and let them catch up, but Arabella was just too eager to get to Hogwarts. She waited for her siblings at the edge of the platform with Rabbit in her arms, itching to step on the train. Daphne towed hers and Arabella's trunks on a trolley, and soon found Arabella. Ridge wasn't too far behind, and waved for them to wait for him. The moment he took his concentration away from his feet, he tripped, taking a few other people with him. A few Slytherin girls laughed at him. He got to his feet and brushed himself off, embarrassed and apologizing profusely to the people he had knocked over. Daphne rolled her eyes. "Honestly. If I left him alone in a room with grippy floors and nothing to trip on, he would end up with two broken legs..." she said to no one in particular. The trio got their luggage onto the train without much hassle, and found themselves an empty compartment.

Finlay meowed in annoyance at being cooped up in her cage for so long. "Shush, Finlay, I'll let you out on the train." Madison hissed at her. She pushed past the crowds of people until she got to the train doors. She heaved up her trunk and Finlay's cage into the train and then hopped on herself. She dragged them until she found a compartment where she was welcome. Finlay meowed loudly until Madison opened the cage door so she could get out. Finlay leaped up onto the bag holder and sat down, watching people walk past their compartment.

No one had accompanied Azon to the train station this time, as they has all been busy with planning his sister's 18th birthday, which was coming up in a few weeks. He didn't mind much, though. Whenever his parents went with him, they always ended up making such a fuss. He got on the train and made his way to a compartment. He sat down and let Aseia, his owl, perch beside him. He didn't like being the only one in his compartment, but he knew it wouldn't last long. His friends would join him soon, if they weren't beaten to it by his many admirers. Azon put his feet up on the seat opposite him and petted Aseia's beak for lack of anything better to do.
((Feel free to join any of my characters' compartments on the train :D))

Meg looked at the platform. This was the start of the year at Hogwarts, the start of her happier double life. She walked straight into the barrier. For a second, there was nothing, but then the wizard world greeted her, inviting as ever. She nudged her owl Soren awake because his claws had begun to dig into her arm, and set out for one of the cars that weren't quite as full as the others.
As it turned out, there were not many suitable empty cars like normal. She cursed herself for her tardiness, and decided to try to find a car with one or two Griffindor children in it. She found one, that appeared to be empty except for a Griffindor 5th year, and upon closer inspection, she realized it was another prefect, just like her. She fiddled with her badge and considered looking again for an empty car, her nerves getting the best of her. She decided in the end to just suck it up, and walked up to him.
H...hello, my name is Meg. Do you mind if... if it doesn't bother you... could I sit here?

Joshua filtered his way through the crowd at Platform 9 3/4. He kept his eyes out for first years that didn't look to be of wizard descent; they would be the easiest to pick on. He was especially hoping to find some future Hufflepuffs, those guys could be outrageously gullible if he played his cards right.
He didn't see anyone in particular, so instead he focused on finding an empty car. He managed to get one with Slytherins and Hufflepuffs on both sides of him. He smiled, for those were his two favorite targets.
He shoved his truck in the compartment above him. After securing it, he let Nala.out of her cage. She poured, rubbed against him, and then set out to see if any mice had made it aboard.
Joshua sat back in his chair, waiting for someone to join him. If not, that was fine to, he could always find stuff to do by himself.
~~~
Kyle looked back at his little sister. Tears welled up in her big blue eyes, and she ran up to him and grabbed his waist.
"Please don't leave me!" she walked. "All I want is to be a witch!"
Kyle's mom ran up to her and pried her off of him. Laila just flailed her arms and legs and wailed more. Kyle's mom nodded at him; go while you still can was the clear message.
He walked up the train, took a deep breath, and boarded the Hogwarts Express for the very first time. It was an incredible sight, but he knew he needed to get into a car before they all filed up. He chose one that had had a second year Hufflepuff boy in it. The boy looked like he was about to pass out from fright when Kyle walked in, so they say as far away from each other as possible. He then fiddled with a few of his favorite chocolate frog cards and wondered who else might join him.
Azon took his feet down off the other seat and stood up. "Yeah, sure. I'm Azon. Pleased to meet you, Meg." he said politely, and smiled at her. He offered to take her bag and put it up on the rack.
Meg almost sighed with relief when he didn't threaten to kill her. Socializing was going well so far. Hopefully it stayed that way.
She handed him her bag and sat down; Soren fluttered off of her arm -where there were now red claw marks- and flew up to meet the boy's owl. She looked enviously at the owl. Why was it so easy for some creatures! She turned back to face the boy.
So, um, you're a prefect? Did you start this year?
Aseia clucked her beak at Soren and shuffled a few inches away, startled by the sudden greeting. She ruffled her feathers to calm herself. "Yeah. My parents were really happy when we got the letter. You're a prefect too, I'm guessing?" he said, noticing her badge, "Are you new to Hogwarts? I haven't seen you around."
Meg attempted to ignore Soren, though it intrigued her that it looked like the owl was apologizing. Can owls apologize? Again she had to refocus her thoughts onto talking.
No, I'm not new. I just try to stay out of the way as much as possible. I had to quit doing that last year though, since I became a prefect... They also gave me the award for the highest marks of the 5th years last year, so that didn't help much.
She blinked and thought for a second.
Wait... but do you really not recognize me? I'm the Senior Quidditch Keeper, I thought most people kept up with that kind of stuff.
Aseia blinked, and lowered her head slightly, as if accepting the apology. "Oh, I'm sorry, I guess I just never noticed," Azon said, and laughed, "Actually I am a fan of Quidditch. I was a chaser on the junior team last year, and they're moving me up to the senior team this year. Guess that means we're teammates then."
Violet silently followed behind her older siblings as they ventured toward the train. She cuddled Link tightly as Leon pushed their luggage. "You should be pushing this yourself." Leon said with a small shake of his head, "Link should have been in his carrier like the other cats." "But he's the only one I know here!" Violet argued, "Besides I didn't want him to freak out in there." Twilight looked at her younger sister, "He'll be in his carrier next year then won't he?" she said before boarding the train with her luggage. Violet nodded before putting Link on the floor of the train, "Make sure to follow her, Link." she said before grabbing her luggage from the trolley that her brother had been pushing. Twilight looked around the car that she had entered and soon found an empty compartment. She quickly entered it and stored her luggage in the over head storage space and sat down. Link wondered into the compartment after her and jumped onto the seat opposite. Violet grabbed her luggage and Link's carrier before boarding the train and finding her sisters compartment. "Wonder what this year is going to be like." Leon muttered before he collected the remaining luggage and the last two cat carriers. He boarded the train and entered the compartment that his sisters were in. He put the carriers on the floor before he loaded his luggage into the over head. He then looked at Violet who was sitting on the seat with Link on her lap, her luggage on the floor on either side of her. He motioned toward it, “Here,” He said, “I’ll put it up for you.” Violet looked down at the luggage before handing it to him. “Thank you, Leon.” She said quietly.
((Omg I can't stop starting at your siggy make it stop xD))
Soren flew up to the top of the car and have a shrill call, almost as if he was inviting the other owl up with him.
Oh, I can't believe I didn't recognize your name! They sent the continuing Senior Quidditch players a list of all the newer ones joining. Also, apparently the old Quidditch captain just graduated, so we're going to be electing a new one this year.
"Really? Who do you reckon will be picked?" Azon said. He ran a hand through his hair but it got stuck and he had to pry it free. He laughed at himself, and muttered, "Stupid long hair... Need to cut it..." Aseia flitted up to join Soren.
