Yeah, I read through your roleplay a few days ago. I think it's kinda cool that you picked the most badass team for him, except for Cynder. I can totally picture Jake meeting him at school or something, and not really caring about him until he needs to study for a test and Gabriel becomes his tutor or something. Then they sort of become friends, but don't really hang out together that much. (don't worry, dorks are the best :)) (I think it's kind of funny that you named Gabriel Gabriel, since I have a friend named Gabriel who is Jake's personality)

Actually Cynder evolves into Talonflame who is a badass in competitve battling because they're super fast and can hit super hard. ;) So no, Cynder's gonna be a badass lttle birdy.
And actually. ovo /I/ didn't pick his team, I let Allora push the bonds. uvu Ralts was helping Delilah with her leg and they were friends, Cynder and Willow were buddies, the Poochyena was just so damn /happy/ and the sandile seemed to trust him uvu

I think that Arashi would probably be a little sceptical of Jake, and would likely underestimate his intelligence a little. Then again, unless someone strikes him as being smart, he tends to see people that way. That doesn't mean he wouldn't warm up to him, but he'd be dubious. How do you think Jake would react to Arashi, based on his profile?

Reading through your roleplay, I think Jake would classify Arashi as being a "nerd" at first, and be a little skeptical as well, cautious about this new person who doesn't fit the standard "nerd" guidelines, but then I think they would become friends. I almost think Jake would be almost intimidated by Arashi's intelligence at first, but then be curious and get to know him because of that.

Arashi would probably be pedantic about the wording, and protest that nerds are by definition boring, and claim to be a geek instead, as geeks are more eccentric. He knows perfectly well that most people use them interchangeably, but he likes confusing people. How do you think Jake would react to Arashi calling an Espeon his uncle? I'd be interested to know what Gabriel would make of that as well.

Gabriel would probably understand that he has a very close bond with the Espeon and not be bothered by it in the least. In fact he'd think it was kind of nice, being that close-knit and he'd hope that his Pokemon would be able to consider him family too uvu

I think Jake would be totally befuddled by Arashi's claim of nerd vs. geek, but would pretend to understand. I think that at first, Jake would snicker and try to hold back a laugh, but then realize that though he never called his father's Arcanine "Uncle" he pretty much thought of him like that, and would quiet down and start thinking about his childhood.

Arashi would definitely appreciate them not laughing at him over the matter of Uncle Isaac, and probably think better of them for it. If told about the Arcanine, he'd likely see the parallel as well. How d'you think his grudge against Team Rocket and predisposition towards eventually getting even with them would go over? Arashi would be intrigued by Jake's jewellery, and I think he'd want to find good/amusing/interesting dares to give Jake once he found out about that particular trait - though he'd try to set up a believable situation (or wait for an appropriate moment) rather than spouting them completely off the cuff.

Haha, yeah, Jake would do the craziest things for dares, as long as it wouldn't hurt him majorly. I bet that Jake would think that his Natu was totally awesome, and would probably joke around in front of Arashi by letting Spark zap him and spike up his hair even more. As for the jewelry, I'm honestly not sure where that came into pay, I think he just needed something like that. I think that after a while of knowing Arashi, he would become more open to him about things like his father's Arcanine, Liam, and his bond with Spark. EDIT: Ok, I just painted a totally awesome pic of Jake, please tell me what you think of it:

Oh also how would Arashi react to Delilah the three-legged skitty and the relationship she has with Jacen the Ralts, who has started projecting a leg for her to use so she can get around easier? OvO

Arashi would be both amused and slightly concerned by the electric fun, considering that Jake doesn't have a type resistance of any kind (unless there's something I don't know). The playful interaction with spark would probably make him more likely to talk to Jake rather than try to ignore him, and confiding about Pokemon Jake's had bonds with would likely result in similar reciprocation of confidence. He might even tell him about the Pokemon who were taken from the first Breeding Farm he and his family lived at. Arashi would be incredibly fascinated by the Deliah/Jacen interactions and abilities, and try to learn more. He would attempt to see what they knew about it, and make his own observations, but he doesn't exactly have a lab of his own - so he wouldn't be able to get as many answers as he'd like. As for Gabriel's bonding with his Pokemon, he'd see that as a reason to trust him more, and be able to relate to Gabe better for it. He sees close bonds with one's Pokemon as being highly important.
Edit: Well, it's certainly better than most of my attempts at painting. Usually, I ask someone else to make art of my characters for me. It's always nice to see what a character looks like, and yours looks similar to how I'd imagined him - though I'd pictured him freckly for some reason.

That's pretty good for being completed so quickly, particularly the Pokemon proportions. I always find that proportions bug me.
Wait, where's Jake's shirt gone?
I'm not sure how Arashi would react to being smushed. It might involve going tense, it might involve flailing. It'd probably depend on the situation, and how startled he was.

It's not bad at all - it doesn't seem too unreasonable. Arashi's bi, so it wouldn't matter that Gabe's a guy, and their personalities seem to mesh pretty well. Arashi's pretty clueless about romance, though, so there'd definitely be confusion and goof.
I sometimes get the urge to draw stuff as well. My first roleplay, I tried to draw everyone's character. I didn't really manage, but I got over half of them before I ran out of steam. Dunno where they went, though. Maybe the same place as Jake's shirt.
