((I'm wondering if Cloud should end up escaping from his crate and be clignign for dear life to somethign in the back of the truck. He'd be scared to death of Kohaku when they reached his home, though. O.o; Well...he's already scared to death of him. xD;)) |

Cloud let out one continuos, loud yowl of terror as he was bassicaly flung back and forth in he back of the truck, his fear escalating when he suddenly found himself getting pretty much lauched out of the carrier he'd been in. He immediaely clung to the closest thing that was attached to the car, shaking as he feared for his very life. What was this madman doing?! Was he trying to kill him?! ______________________ "You must have a good personality and respond well to constant contact with people. My parnts always have friends over for something or other," Allen responded, tilting his head. "And you'd have to be on a leash so that they don't think you're just some wild beast or something of the sort," he added, crossing his arms as he focused his gaze onto the foxgirl. |

"I think I would be able to do that." she said looking like she was thinking. A smile apeared on his face as she remembered something, "It's funny because as a little kid I was obsesed with dogs so I sometime wore a callor and shew on dog toys my mom bought for me because I asked her and now I have to ware them because i'm a pet. Ironic isn't it....anywho yeah I can do that unless you need prof or something" she said finally shutting up.

Shawn opened the trunk of his SUV. He noticed Calyx's reaction and it made him laugh. Why wouldn't it? He got the reaction he wanted, and it made him smile. He waved the workers off as he closed the trunk. He could still hear her howling. Shawn clambored into the car and sighed.
"Calyx!" He said loudly, trying to get over the sound of her cries. "I'm not going to sell you on the damn streets! That's freaking cruel. You're going to go to my house, and live in the guest bedroom, okay darlin'?" Shawn sighed and started the car. He was just awaiting the reaction THAT would get.

Kohaku made a few more turns before pulling up in his drive-way. He grinned, turning his side view morror to fix his hair. Thats when he saw the fur. "Crap-- Did I hit another squirrel?" He thought outloud. He shifted his gaze to the pet carrier. "Oh tihs!" He snapped, jumping out of his car and running over to the back. He opened his gate to find Cloud clinging for dear life. He stared at him awkwardly for a few long seconds. He finally broke the ice; "There better be no scratches." Not his best choice of words, but the young teen didn't really think before he said anything. He gently grabbed the hybrid by his waist and held him. He didn't like the idea of dragging the crate around, and it was obvious the cat didn't like small places. "Your not very heavy, are you?" he thought outloud as he walked to the door. He shifted the hybrid to his other side as he fumbled with the keys. After what took like years, he finally opened the door and carried Cloud to the closet. He set him infront of the door. "There," he said. "Now...Do your thing," He opened the door. Yes, indeed it was a closet, but Kohaku needed more room to store all his crap. Before the two was huge, empty closet. He grabbed a blanket and layed it doen in the floor, along with a patch-work pillow.

Calyx stopped howling abruptly and stared at the human. "Then...Then you lied to me?" She asked in disbelief. her ears were down and her tail was somewhat inbetween her legs. First they made her into a hybrid, second they sold her, and now this human was lieing to her? She jerked her head up and let out a louder, longer howl. After that followed another. And another. And another. When she was out of breath, she plopped herself down, her arms sprawled out in all directions. Tpday had been such a diasterous day, and she was tired. Not to mention that her throat felt like sandpaper. "I...I hate you.." She rasped out, hissing.

"Lie is a harsh word," Shawn muttered to himself. "More like a small joke." Shawn could tell that he really upset her, for her cries became louder, and longer. Not good. As the girl collasped to the ground, Shawn then pulled the the side of the road and parked.
I hate you.
It's amazing how three words could hurt so bad. "I'm... I'm sorry..." He said, looking down. He felt slightly ashamed, well, really, really ashamed. He didn't know what to say. Simple as that. Well, he cleared his throat before asking, "Do you want to go someplace for some food? There's a burgerking like, right downtown..." Shawn knew that woulnd't make much up, but the girl had to be starving for human food again!

Calyx had her eyes closed. Her breathing camp in small rasps as she moved her hands around, scratching at the cage floor. She attempted to remember her alphabet, scratching each letter. Her G's looked like E's and everything was mixed up, but she didn't care. She was just attempting. She'd get it right after she broke out. But mabye tommorrow, she was so tired....Not to mentio hungry and thirsty. Definatly thirsty. She blinked her eyes open glaring at the cage. Even outside the pet store, the cage did not leave her. She looked up at Shawn in bewilderment. The last time she'd heard the word 'sorry' was when her parents sold her away. But a human, no her owner was apologizing? she would tell she hurt him. For a instant her eyes trned soft. Well, he deserves it! She hissed to herself. I hope he dies a horriblre painful death and-- she stopped at the word 'food'. Her ears perked up and her eyes darted up to him once more, though they held no emotion. Her throat was to dry to answer, so she just stared at him. Well what do you think, moron? she said toherself. I'm flippin' starving!!

Cloud shook quite badly in Kohaku's arms, his poor heart racing as he glanced around in a frightened manner. This guy was insane! "N-n-never....a-again..." he whispered.
The poor thing immediaty skittered away from Kohaku when he was set down, huddling up in a corner with his eyes still wide. It was obvious that he was now deathly afraid of the other male. "N-no m-more..." he mewed, hints of tears building up in his big blue eyes. He thought he was going to die just getting here! What was he going to do if things just got worse?!
After a few seconds of this, the extremely stressed out clouded leopard passee out, falling to the side. His chest rose and fell with his soft breathing, the poor kid's body going on standby.

"No offense, but I'm not quick to trust someone who's behind bars," Allen stated, sighing softly. "I want to be sure before I buy you."
(Excuse the fail for Allen. :U I haven't settled on a personality for him yet.)

"I wouln't either." She said sitting up again. "How do I prov myself?" she thaought outloud. She wasn't sure. How could she. For all he knew everyword she said could be a lie but they could also be true. There wasn't really a way to be sure beside bringing in a lie detector and hooking it up to her. "I got nothing" she said. "Unless you dicide to bring in a lie detector" she said but she was doubtful about that. Her stomach grumbled as she was getting hungrey. She had eaten but not much considering her food was pretty much the green stuff off the side of the fish tank put into a blender and then into her bowl along with some chunks of mystery meat. How apatizing.

Kohaku looked down at the poor creature. It must of been terrifing! He sighed, placing a hand to his forehead. "I didn't mean to..." He said quietly. Now it was afraid of him! He attempted a step closer, but then he saw his glassy eyes. Great, he thought, he's going to cry. All I did was drive around. Over the sidewalks, lawns, and gardens. He stared at the floor. He opened his mouth to apologize, but stopped in mid sentence when the hybrid fell. He immedielty ran over to him, checking his breathing and such. The little cat had grown on him somehow. He deserved better than this. Thank goodness he's breathing, he thought. Kohaku got a blow-up matress and fitted it up against a corner. He placed blankets on top, so he wouldn't pop it. He set up a few pillows also. He once again lifted him in his arms and set him down the the confortable, make-shift bed. "That'll have to do for tonight," He sighed.

OOC: I guess Mist is free to adopt someone else now... Snype looked up from his freezing bath just in time to see the boy who was to be his owner hold out a pair of nearly brand new clothes and a towel. His nose twitching at the smell of freshly washed body and fabric, he brought his soaking wet tail out of the tub and wrapped it around the bundle, pulling it right out of the boy's hands. When he was finished rinsing off the soap, he climbed out, dropped the towel and began to dry himself off. Warm up to him, huh? He wondered. he was after all, a rodent. Pretty ladies usually didn't like those kinds of things, but oh well, he'd just winn her over with his wonderful personality. Finally, he looked up at the boy, who still had not given his name, though he knew his, grabbed his arm with his shivering hands. Let him see how it felt. Unable to speak for the horrid marks around his neck, he resorted to glaring, and waiting. |

Shawn watched as Calyx carved drawings into the cage floor, or so he thought. He found it rather interesting, just watching as she did her own thing. Observing was the only way Shawn would ever be silent. He waited, watched, noticed. Then he saw the glare Calyx glare at the cage. What an idiot, Shawn! He thought. She must hate that cage! Imagine all the totured she went through in that cage....!
"Would... Would you stay in the car if I let you out of the cage....?" Shawn said this wearily, guessing that she would probably run away if he let her out... But, if she was happy that way...

After Calyx had successfully made a fail of the alphabet, she sighed and layed her head once again against the cold steel cage floor. Her tail flopped uselessly on the floor, to tired to make any sign of life. She had her eyes closed, again, and she was tired. But her body wouldn't accept what was happening and wouldn;t let her fall asleep. She wearily opened her eyes once more to stare at the human. She licked her canines her eyes boring into him. "....I think...we both know...the answer...to that...question.." She rasped.
