The Egg suddenly glowed a vibrant red. Then it moved a tiny bit. Maleck stood up and then gently picked it up. He then gave it to Shadow and Lily. "This egg is what is painted on the cave walls... Volkenagrim's Feral Soul. You could call him a Demihuman because of this. Basically he is a normal human by Soul but the inner Beast Spirit is what gives him his powers.. Not by his own strength... Keep that Egg by your side until Dawn comes. But for now we must sleep." He then yawned and laid down. His skeletal body clicked and clacked as he laid down and wrapped his warm tail around Lily. He then must have close his eyes for the red glowing orbs disappeared.
Shadow stayed in Lily's skin and closed her eyes. Lily laid down and didn't seem worried about Maleck being so close to her. She was very tired, but since all these events had happened she could barely try to sleep. Shadow sensed this and began to hum a soothing accient dragon song that her mom would sing to her almost always when she was a hatchling. Lily closed her eyes and fell asleep as soon as Shadow began the song. Shadow began to fall asleep to her own humming and the humming faded into silence.

Dawn arose in the form of the sun and a glowing beam from the rays went down and reflected onto Maleck's Wings. Maleck roared in pain as he was a creature of the night and the sun's rays burned his skin. So while everyone was still sleeping he went back into Volkenagrim's back. Volkenagrim winced as Maleck re-entered his body. He gave out a small sigh and woke up. His sharp eyes looked around and saw other dragons with they're hosts. He then quietly and stealthily got up and rushed into the woods. He knew that they would be hungry upon waking up.
Shadow awoke before Lily and exited her skin. She sat down by Lily's sleeping body and watched her. She turned her head towards the egg and touched it,gently, with her 'paw'. She watched it to see if it would react at all and then sighed and turned to look at Lily again.
