(( Hurr, I think I see where the confusion was now. Marth is a male. xD As are Jayne and the other guard- at the moment the only female of Fluzz and my characters is Fluzz's main. Other than that, sorry this took so long to get up, been busy outside of Res lately. ))
Jayne watched in silence as the two elves greeted one another, eyes narrowing slightly as he studied the female. Although it may have been unjust, Jayne felt absolutely nothing but distrust towards her. To him, she was just another elf, and at that the Fair Folk had not made a very ideal impression on him as of yet. He looked her over warily as Marth stepped forward, bowing in what he only assumed was some sort of greeting.
"Very well, the elders will already be waiting- it would be best not to keep them long." Marth said in a lowered voice. A moment later Jayne caught the slightest flicker of the scout's ear, then the elf turned his solemn gaze back to the woods not far from where they had before come. Jayne found himself following the look on instinct, his own eyes fixing on the pair of figures not far behind.
He studied the way the both of them moved, soon fixed on the one trailing just slightly behind the other. Well that certainly didn't appear to be an elf.
(( For the record, not power-playing with Fluzz's character, she sorta forced me to write it up for her. |P ))

Kaylee shifted awkwardly as the golden haired elf led to another set of people. One was a blonde haired male with a white scarf draped over his shoulders, then a woman with long blonde hair. The words spoken by another character, a male that had bowed not long ago, caught her attention.
"I suppose you are right, Marth." The elf who had led Kaylee spoke. He seemed to have a slight edge to his voice. Kaylee didn't get all of what he said, for she was too busy watching the other man. The way he moved, the way he looked. He didn't look like an elf to her.
Maybe it was just because I've been staring at the back of an elf's head for who knows how long, Kaylee thought to herself. Yeah, She thought, but something inside of her told her she wasn't convinced he was an elf.

I think we're already completely full for Riders, but if you just want to join as one of the guards that helps to escort them to Ellesmera you are welcome to. It wouldn't really be an active part of the RP, however. :c ))

"Alright, follow me." Avalia said, bowing slightly to the older elf. She began to walk, hearing the footsteps of those following her as she did so. It wasn't too long before they arrived at the city. they stood before the gates. She stared up at the wall, putting a hand up to signal who she was. The guard up top nodded and the one below opened the gate to let the travelers in. Once in the city, she led them to the meeting hall, ignoring Midas' foot as he tried to trip her when she went in.
((Sorry for that pathetic post and the powerplaying. I hope you guys don't hurt me. -goes back to sleep-))

Jayne was a bit taken back by the unfolding scene before him, and he had to admit that even under the circumstances it had taken his breath away. The courtyard was large and shaded by a live carpet of hanging vines, somehow suspended by the stone pillars that made up the spherical hall. Natural light dappled the marble floors where it had escaped the green ceiling. From somewhere unseen, a songbird trilled into the tranquil morning, the song lingering in the building for an extra moment before silence could find purchase.
On the far of the long hall rested a throne, and a very ancient-looking being upon it. The elf's eyes were a pure white with time, matching his pensive ex
pression with a sightless gaze. Even as Jayne moved within sight of the hall, he did grasp the feeling that nothing would go unseen by this aged guardian. The Elder, for that is what Jayne realized he must have been, rose his head to the sound of the entering mortals, snowy hair cascading over his shoulders. His hollowed face still gave hint to the years when his skin was full and his face bright, but those days seemed all to have left him now.
"They have come at last," an old, tired voice suddenly rose from the figure before them, bony fingers unlacing from their cold grip on the throne. Those white eyes could be seen moving under the lids, and Jayne started to question the elf actually being blind. In a chilling way, as if a direct reply, the Elder chuckled with a cracking sound, "I need not a gaze to know that of another's, child. Come, come all of you before me."
Jayne looked around at the others uneasily, hardly catching the nudging look from Marth. The human's eyes glinted with confusion and uncertainty, glancing at the ground before looking back up to the one who had beckoned him forward. He lifted his boot a fraction from the floor, but hesitated before taking a step towards the Elder. The other's gaze continued to follow him, and Jayne could have sworn a smile hinted at his lips. It took a moment with the deliberation in his pace, but soon Jayne found himself before the other, hands at his sides as he looked around in the silence.

Avalia stood back, taking up her position as guard. she couldn't help but notice that the elder elf seemed a bit more... wise than usual. She was always a bit creeped out by him and his blank gaze always sent shivers down her spine. Turning away to watch the door, she noticed a slight crack in it, as if someone had opened it. She went through it and saw Midas. "I should have know you would try something. One wonders how you became a guard with this attitude." she snarled, her ears flattening against her head.
"I could say the same for you." He retorted, a smirk sliding across his face. "I mean, you barely hit that target. You stupid girl." He picked dust up and then spat in front of her.
"Just go kill a squirrel or something. Don't try to mess this up. It wouldn't hurt me, but I would know who did it and I will report you if anything happens." She growled and slid back into the meeting hall, closing the door behind her.

Kaylee was in awe as she slowly made her way into the spherical hall. The vines suspended in the air, the way the light filtered down onto the floor, and the tranquil lullaby of an unseen songbird. She walked through the hall, being herded by the elves. It was a good thing though, for if it weren't for them, she would have strayed away from their path in search for the hidden music-maker.
"They have come at last," A tired sounding voice said. Kaylee peeled her eyes away from a vine behind them, only to see an ancient being sitting upon a throne. Kaylee's eyes found the ancient elf's, and suddenly felt it hard to move, completely captivated by the other's gaze. It didn't seem as if the elf was watching her, but she couldn't say he wasn't.
Kaylee heard a footstep, then another. They continued until she could see a figure out of the corner of her eye. A figure she guessed was the other human.
The eyes of the Elder gleamed as if they were beckoning her onward. Kaylee hesitated, bit reluctantly took a step forward. She felt eyes on her back as she slowly and carefully made her way up to where the other human was. She looked as if in a trance as she kept her eyes locked in the empty white ones of the elf before her. Kaylee stopped a few feet away from the other human and waited for that ragged, ancient voice to rise once more.
