She in fun, and always up for a game. She is a bit of a trickster, though she means well. Mwezi and Jua have a connection that goes beyond just siblings. They can sort of "feel" if the other is near, or in danger.

Personality;Dagger is reckless, headstrong, and bold. He doesnt take well to orders, but is definately the most loyal wolf in the pack. He sticks by his friends and what he thinks is right, which is what got him to where he is today.

Other;Dagger has a secret. Despite what the pack thinks, hes not a true wolf. His mother joined the pack when he was just ayoung pup. And they had no clue his father was a dog. When packmates noticed that his eyes stayed blue, and did not turn the gold of the wolf's eyes, she told them he had gotten sick, and his eyes had never changed. Dagger grew up thinking he was afull blood wolf, until hsi mother died not too long ago. She confessen, and now that he knows the truth, he is more determined than ever to prove that he is worthy, even though the pack does not know his secret...

Dhark rand through the snow, sending up puffs of fresh powder behind him. His tounge lolled out of his mouth, and he felt free. After the last snowstorm, he had pent up energy and was just aching to burn it. He slowed when he reached the river, and looked over his shoulder at teh tracks he had left. Snow was still falling lightly and a flake laded on his nose momentarily before melting. He looked back at teh frozen river and tentatively began to walk out onto the ice, listening for creaks or other signs of thin ice.

Mwezi Flciked her ears, "Jua, If you want to sneak up on me, try to not breathe so hard." she said without opening her eyes. Jua just laughed, a light, cheerful sound.

"My dear sister, Even Skye couldnt sneak up on you if you were blind and deaf." she said, flopping down in the mossy bed of the cave next to her sister. She was glad for the insulated cave, she was definately a summer wolf, prefering the gr*censored* to the snow, despite her icy-white fur. She looked over at her dark grey sister, knowing that soon, after the sun had gone down, Mwezi would go out to enjoy the cold, winter night.

Skye padded through the silent forest, alert for any sounds or scents. She knew it had just stormed, so she was expecting the eerie silence. Her mind wandered as she walked, she wondered what It would have been like if she had been beta for a few months longer, and hunters hadnt shot the Alpha when she was barely Beta for half a year. She had been alpha since summer now, and knew she had made some mistakes, but wondered how It would be different if humans weren't intent on destroying all the wolves in the forest.

Lukas rolled his eyes as he waatched young Lenai slip on the ice. She just laughed it off, but Lukas knew his younger sister had a lot of work to do if she was to become the great hunter he knew she was deep down. He knew she had the potential, if she could just let it out.

Lenai Looked over at her brother and smiled, "its a little slippery." she said with a light laugh, which caused Lukas to roll his eyes again and shake his head, but Linai saw the slight smile on his face and knew how rare it was that he actually smiled, "C'mon." she said, turning to head back to the main camp. Lukas shrugged lightly and followed her, not caring whether they went back or not, but Lenai had a feeling at was going to snow bad again, and she wanted to be tucked away in her den when it started.

Kuro rested in the center of the camp, head on his paws, enjoying the cool, dampness of the snow. It made him feel numb, and the cold made his mind fuzzy, so he didnt have to think., He remembered joining Ice Pack not too long ago, and wondered if he should have stayed a lone wolf. Going where he wasnted, when he wanted. But deciding he was better of in a pack, that way he went with food more often than starving.

Dagger stalked through Ice Pack territory. He still wasnt happy about learning his true heritage. He growled at nothing in particular, how could his mother have not told him he was half dog. He found himself at the river, and howled in both grief over loosing his mother only a few days ago, and anger for her lying to him his whole life. He clawed at the ice until it broke abd lapped at the icy water, feeling a little better. Then he looked at his reflection. He looked jsut lie a wolf, silver tipped fur, mas.sive jaws, sharp teeth, the soft, rounded ears. Everything about him was wolfy, except the icy blue eyes. They showed the Malamute in him. And he growled again, slapping a large paw at the water, his reflection rippling and getting distorted. He turned away and started to lope back toward the pack. He was beta of Ice Pack! he shouldnt be acting like this. He felt like a pup!

Basil padded through the forest quietly, paw steps muted thanks to the snow. His eyes scanned the underbrush carefully for any signs of prey, but there was nothing. Only bare wilderness after the storm that had struck. Defeated, he headed back towards camp with a growling stomach. Though he knew he shouldn't wander alone, he didn't care; Basil was the kind of wolf to take things into his own paws. Such as hunting after a storm.

Primrose was nudged awake by a complaining Darcy, who nibbled at her ear. The charcoal pup, although still small, was becoming quite a bother. Like her father, she thought wearily as she got up, blinking at the all-too-empty nursery. Before she could react, Darcy was dashing out of the nursery, and into the cold snow, tail sticking up like a small black flag. Grief clutched Primrose. If only he could see her now... 

Getting up stiffly, the young white wolf followed her pup into the snow.

Zane entered camp with a thin rabbit clamped in his jaws. He almost tripped over a chunk of ice, and with a muffled snarl he continued walking through the snow. There wasn't much to find out in the forest after the storm; most prey was hiding in their burrows. That's what he wanted to do; curl up and sleep away the winter. But the pack needed food.

Quicksilver smiled as Darcy ran by, followed by a beat-down looking Prim, but her eyes were stony and focused on the camp entrance. Winter was always a hard time for wolves. Especially wolves who'd lost their pack leader to hunters, and were being led by a she-wolf that had only been Beta for a few moons. Her stomach grumbled, but she ignored it.

Sheathe sat on a large rock jutting out from the snow, paws and legs numb from sitting still for so long. He hardly noticed; he was busy thinking about the harsh winter climate, loss of prey and increase of poachers. Would anyone even notice if the quite, sullen black wolf froze to death outside, in the forest? He doubted it.

Mocha's tail wagged back and forth as she wandered back into camp, a large icicle clamped in her jaws. It was frozen to her tongue, but she didn't really care. She was just proud of herself for bringing it all the way back. Although she acted like a domestic animal, she was a pure-bred wolf. Many others doubt this; and they should.

Arson was curled up in his den, eyes shut even though he was not asleep. He was one of the eldest wolves in the pack, even though he wasn't even that old. He'd seen starvation and cold before... and it never got any better.

Jem was watching Primrose and Darcy with curiosity, awe reflected in his eyes. Although he'd joined the pack a few weeks ago, the way things worked around here still amazed him. Even in hard times, there was hope in the eyes of the others. What about his old pack? He grimaced. It hurt to remember.

Kuro opened one eye and looked at mocha curiously, "what are you doing?" he asked in his deep, quiet voice. He realised he probably looked rather strange, being half buried in snow. He stood up and shook out his dark silver fur, snow falling to thr ground and making a small pile all around him.

Lenai and Lukas walked into camp at the same time, Lenia laughed when she say Darcy, she loved pups, and she smiled to a rather worn-out looking Primrose.

Lukas smiled briefly at the pup, watching Darcy with his icy-silver eyes. He knew he would probably scare the pup, he was a rather large wolf, and he didnt look particularily friendly, but, although he would never admit it, he always had a soft spot for pups.

Dagger padded over to Jem and sat beside him, "how are you liking the pack so far?" he asked. He realised that although Jem had been here a few weeks, he had probably only spoken to the other wolf once or twice. His bright blue eyes were always watching, keeping an eye on the pack.

Skye flicked her ears, hearing pawsteps of another wolf. She sniffed the air, Basil. She picked up the pace and joined the Beta without a word. She figured he was hunting, and could probably use the help.

__

Jua padded out of the den first. Despite all the cold, she was determined to have fun. She pounced gleefully through the snow feeling much like a pup. She was hardly watching where she was going and tripped over what she thought was a rock, tumbling end over end. Laughing hysterically, realised to was Sheathe, "I'm so sorry." she said, standing up and shaking the snow out of her fur, "I didn't see you there."

Mwezi had followed her sister out of their den and was shaking her haid, she spotted Zane on her way over to Jua, "sometimes she just amazed me." she said, although it was an insult, she said it with love in her voice, and there was no doubt how close a bond the sister had, no matter how different they were.

Once he was about halfway across the river, Dhark stopped and looked down at the ice, he had reached the hold that he had mede before the storm, but of course, it had frozen over. The young wolf began to try and dig through the ice, and before long, he had re-opened his fishing hole. For some reason, he always had a taste for fish, and he knew very well that it made his fur shinier. He sat down and looked into the hole, and although his pack would all be suprised that he could even do this, waited. He could see the shiny, silver fish in the shallow water, and when one got close enough to his hole, his head shot forward and he grabbed it in his jaws, and pulled up a fat, wriggling Nothern Pike. It was a rather young one, but he still knew it had sharp teeth, so he made sure to watch the head. Proudly, he turned back the way he came and began to lope back toward camp.

Skye shook her head, "no, we will find a way to survive, we have to." she said determinedly.

Jua shrugged, "yeah, but then again, I wasnt exactly looking." she said with a laugh. She felt her face grow warm and was slightly embaras.sed.

Mwezi just smiled, "she's like my other half. Together, we are like one superwolf, and there isnt anything we can't do." She said, "She's been my sister and my best friend ever since we were born."

"But do you like it here?" Dagger asked, "now that's the real question."

Lukas smiled, then looked at Darcy, "Scary wolf is sorry, he didnt mean to scare you." he teased. Then he looked at Primrose, "It's okay, she will learn someday." he shrugged, "its not like I'm the friendliest looking wolf." he admitted.

Lenai looked at him, somewhat suprised. Lukas hardly ever spoke. And when he did, it was hardly ever that much at once. It was strange to hear his deep, mellow voice, and she had to do a mental double-take to be sure she actually heard him.

Kuro tilted his head curiously, "but why? Won't it just melt when spring comes?" he asked. He stared at the Icicle and wondered idly where she even found it.
