"Tell that to my stomach," Basil muttered, flicking his ears.

Sheathe chuckled. "You should look where you're going, then! I could have been a hunter!" 

Zane smirked. "I would hate to see what would happen if your two were separated, then. Although I'm sure you would be okay on your own, Mwezi."

"I suppose so," Jem said indifferently, blinking at Quicksilver, who was still staring at the camp entrance. "I'll get used to it soon."  

__

Darcy smiled at that, darting away to play in the high snow drifts. 

Primrose sighed. "I hope so. If she's anything like her father was like, though..." Her throat tightened, making it hard to speak for a moment. "Well. I'd better go catch Darcy. I don't want her to drown in a snow bank." She sauntered after her pup, leaving the two wolves behind.

Mocha's tail stopped wagging, and she stared at him with a sober ex
pression. "I found it hanging off of a large tree branch on Rain pack's territory. I thought it would be fun to steal it!" Fluffing out her fur, she gazed proudly at her icicle. "Perhaps I should do that more often." 

Kuro growled, "If I were you, I'd stay out of Rain Pack. Their Alphess may not be much older than ours, but shes smart, and you don't want her to catch your scent." he said, "and don't meantion to Quicksilver you were in their territory, I don't think she'd be too happy."

Lenai was still staring at her older brother, "since when do you talk that much at one time?" she asked. She wasnt suprised when the only response she got was a small shrug of his shoulders.

Dagger nodded his head, "WHen I joined Ice Pack, I was just a pup, since then, we've gained more members through lonersthan were born here, Like Kuro and Mocha." he said, pointing his muzzle in the direction of the two wolves, "Kuro was only here for a few weeks longer than you. So you aren't the only whos got to get used to living here," Dagger looked back at Jem, "maybe you should try and make friends with them." he suggested.

Dhark padded back into the Rain Pack Cam wtih his fish still in his jaws. She carried it over to the entrance to his den and began to eat it slowly, savoring each bite.

Jua prodded Sheathe wtih one paw," if you're a hunter, you're not a very scary one." she teased.

Mwezi felt her face grow warm beneath her dark gray fur, "um, thanks." she said shyly with a small smile.

But how do they know you're just there for an Icicle? Kuro thought angrily, before laying back down in the snow.

Dagger twitched his ears, not quite knowing what to say.

Jua laughed and copied him, her tail wagging. She growled playfully before pouncing at him, knocking Sheathe backwards into the snow, "no hunter can get me!" she barked.

((ugh snoweh FAIL))

Sheathe pushed Jua off with his hind legs, taking his turn to pin her down. Snow fell from his pelt and onto her as he shook with laughter. "I'll hand it to you, Jua. You're probably right. They'd fall down laughing before shooting you!"

Jua reached up and nipped his ear, "Know what?" she said, wrigging away from him and jumping up, "I'm going to take that as a compliment!" she said wtih a laugh.

As soon as she got close enough, Jua nipped Sheathe's tail. Pushing for a little extra speed, she began to run alongside him. The wind pushed her fur backand her ears were pinned to her head.

Mwezi shook her head, "she reminds me of a pup." she said with a laugh.

Zane chuckled. "I can see why," he replied.

Sheathe moved slightly faster, chuckling as he kicked snow at Jua. It sprayed her full in the face, and he had to force himself not to stop running and laugh. Instead he just kept sprinting, realizing with a pang that they were almost there. He was slightly disappointed. 

Mwezi laughed softly, "I don't think shes ever going to change." she said.

Jua skidded to a stop when she got to the camp, snow spraying up in front of her. She panted lightly and shook her fur, "I think you cheated." she said defiantly.

Sheathe only smirked, tail held high in the air. He wasn't out of breath in the slightest. "I think you're a poor loser," he responded with a laugh. Then he trotted into camp without another word. His paws and legs were no longer numb; he was flooded with a new sort of energy.

"Sometimes change isn't all that great," Zane said thoughtfully, which was rare for him. He was more of a flirty, battle-ready type of wolf. "If she changed, would she still truely be herself?" 

{ We lost all our wolves. xD LOL }

Jua snorted, "Nope, you cheat." she said, shoving him lightly with her shoulder.

Mwezi thoght for a moment, "no, I suppose she wouldnt." she said.

Sheathe shoved her back harder, "Nope, you're a sore loser,"

Zane smiled. "Imagine what a twisted world it would be, for example, if Jua acted like you. We wouldn't be able to tell the difference."

Mwezi laughed, "If Jua acted like me, the world would be a boring place."

"Oh so you cheat, and lie!" Jua taunted.

Sheathe rolled his eyes at her. "So you're a sore loser and delusional!" he retorted with a smile.

"You bet your lucky rabbit foot it would be," Zane said, tail swishing back and forth through the air. He could smell something faint on the wind, like an Ice Pack female, but paid it no attention. What he was smelling was Mocha's trip to get an icicle.
