I really don't know what they were thinking. I don't have a drop of Italian from either of my parents! So what cl*censored*es do you have? nice to meet you Lydia.

Sure he knew shcool had just started back up but already he had taken a shine to this girl. He would spend some time with her today and if it workded out he would try asking her out tomorrow. Sattisfied with himself he leaned back in his chair, streaching his arms out behind him as he waited for her to return his message.

(oh i did that so i could see it, the page was stretched, forgot to delete it, sorry ^^)

Lydia read his message, replying,

"I have Art after this, it's a cla.ss I take every year. What about you?"

She was surprised to have made a friend so quickly, normally it would take time for people to even notice her, much less approach her.

Lydia found herself smiling. I'm not much of a talker, not spoken to very often. This is a someone new experience for me. I have a weekend job at a pet store near my apartment though it's more like a cool place to hang out than an actual working place.

This was a very comfortable conversation she was having, despite having just met the guy. she had even stopped doodling, preferring to expectantly wait for his reply. She admitted to herself that she was having fun.

Just as he had finished scribbeling his not back to Lydia the teacher strolled down the isle, snatching it from his outstreached hand. Inspecting it, he finally decided it didn't seem juicy enough to read aloud to the rest of the cl*censored*. Sighing inwardly with relief and ignoring the teachers warning glare he smiled sheepishly back at the girl across from him. As the teacher finally turned his back he leaned over and whispered to her.

"Wait for me after cl*censored*?"

Lydia couldn't supress a smile, and a light blush, as she replied, "Sure."

she had had bad experiences in the past, true, but this was a new school year, with new people, what did she have to worry about? time to start off fresh and live the life she always wanted, might as well start here with what could only be called a good start.

Cas waited the rest of the clas.s out patiently, wary of the teacher's frequent glances. He was already on the naughty list apparently. Looking over at Lydia he thogught of what he would say to her. He had time, his next cl*censored* was the same for both of them and the rumors were that the art teacher was a softie.

When the bell finally did ring he gathered his things and waited around the doorway, outside the teacher's view as the rest of the student's filed out. He nodded and smiled at last year's friends and cl*censored* mates, taking note of all the new faces too.

Lydia spent most of the remainer of the cl*censored* fidgeting with her pencil, her doodles forgotten. It took an achingly long time for the period to end but when it finally did, she was caught off guard, having been daydreaming at the moment. As the rest of the students shuffled out the door, Ldia hastily gathered her things, somehow, miraculously, retaining her calm composure. Even as she approahed the door, where she spotted Cas waiting for her, she gave no hint of her inner exhileration, letting loose only a light smile.
