(( I don't mind, Kate. o3o It's okay. ))
Josh sat in the back of his cage, one visible eye glowing in the darkness that surrounded him. Somebody outside his cage jeered at him, laughing a laugh that grated on his nerves and made him want to strangle someone.
He closed his eyes, calming himself down. Suddenly, his eyes snapped open again, and he lunged at the front of the cage. Whoever was out there squealed, and fell backwards, dropping the keys they were holding.
Josh stuck his hand through the bars, wrist rubbing against the metal painfully, and grabbed the keys. His hand snaked back through before the person could take the keys from him. The person seemed to have left, so he pushed his arm through the cage again, angled one of the keys, and shoved it into the lock.
The mechanisms released with a hiss, a dark smile spreading across Josh's face slowly. He pushed the door open, and slid out silently. He kept his one visible eye trained on the wall in front of him as he walked towards it.
His body pas sed through the wall with a hiss, and he was gone. Alarms pierced the air.

Jace was just outside the building, sprawled out in the gras s. He was panting, and sweat dripped down his face. Only moments ago he'd leaped out of a window to escape being captured again, and had landed in a tree.
He sat up slowly, letting his eyes trace over the area around him. He clutched the roses he carried everywhere tightly, and frowned. Nobody else seemed to be around. Stiffling a sigh, Jace stood, and started to walk away from the building. Harsh alarms rung through the air.

Poppy focused her eyes on the lock that dangled from the door of her imprisonment. She couldn't use her powers inside the cage, but they'd forgotten about the slim spaces between the bars.
She stuck her hand out of her cage, and then bent her wrist so her palm faced the lock. Her mind exerted a strong psychic wave, and the lock promptly exploded. She pushed open her cage door, and then sprinted to the nearest window.
She leaped at it, shattering the glas s, and went flying into the air on the outside. She snapped her arms from her sides, and focused all her energy on breaking her fall. Just as her feet were about to hit the ground, she helted mid-air, and she hovered for a moment.
Poppy dropped, landing gracefully, and started to walk away. The sirens were hurting her ears.

Charlotte curled up in the middle of her cage, chin quivering. Tears streamed down her face as she sat in silence and listened to the mess outside of her little jail. It sounded like freedom; something she wanted so bad her body ached for it.
