Akello picked himself up off the ground, he had been ignoring everyone and taking a nice little nap. How dare this stupid little sneasel interrupt his nap while he was recharging his energy! Akello stomped a hoof on the ground and snorted a few times.
"Hey! You! The stupid runt with the claws! You woke me up from my nap and are messing with my friends! Don't think you're going to get away with that!" he brayed bending down his head and scratching at the ground some more.
Akello dashed back a little ways and began scratching at the ground again. "You're gonna get it now!" he yelled and broke into a gallop, going faster and faster while sparks lit his body. Suddenly, he caught aflame and shut his eyes, hurtling ahead towards his ice type target with great speed.

Victoria hooted curiously, wondering where Akello had gone again. She heard quite a commotion going on. Not being able to see your target really didn't help with fighting. Tori hopped underneath the same bush Vrakka was under and stared blankly towards the commotion. She suddenly started making loud hooting and other noises, using uproar.

Novatt fell backwards and he was hit by the dig attack. It had taken him completely off guard, which was unusualfor him in a battle. These pokemon were a lot tougher to beat than his usual prey. Was it because they were in a group? He did tend to attack single pokemon most of the time. He heard some pokemon yelling from the side of the battle and wondered how he hadn't noticed them. He just barely managed to dodge the electric pokemon's attack, which terrified him the second he saw fire. Well, looked like it was about time for him the get going. He used Quick Attack to run towards Sally to make one last attack before he escaped from the group of pokemon. He would have to find these pokemon again another time when he was stronger, maybe ambush one of them when they seperated to gather food or the likes. Enough of thoughts of revenge though, for now, he just needed to focus on getting out of a situation which had become dangerous.

Vrakka, hearing more noise and more fighting, curled up more, hoping it would end soon. She was very happy that she had managed to stray out of the fight for as long as she had. This bush was apparently a very good place to hide under when angry pokemon were around. This was most certainly something that she would remember well. She heard anothehr pokemon lightly hop over beside her under the bush. She peered out from her little ball and saw it was just the Hoothoot, nothing to worry about for now. Then, Victoria started making an aweful amount of noise that hurt Vrakka's ears. She wanted nothing more than to get away from it all, and without really thinking about what she was doing Vrakka dug down in the ground where it was safe and quiet.

Kyoko turned around quickly to see...Vrakka had buried down into the Earth.

"I can tell, you know." Sally said to Novatt. "We're beating you...you want to get out of this, don't you?" And with that, Sally used Fly. However, she didn't do this to attack, or to allow the sneasel to escape...she had used it to give Akello the chance to hit Novatt with an attack.

Akello turned quickly and snorted proudly, adrenaline pulsing through his veins.
"Oh no you don't!" he said, charging after the Sneasle with another flame charge, but he was tiring fast.

Victoria stopped her uproar when she noticed vibration from the ground near her. She figured it might be Vrakka. "Oh... I'm sorry dear, are you alright? I didn't mean to scare you or anything. Just trying to help the others without getting hurt." She hooted shyly.

Novatt didn't turn around for a minute to see what Akello was doing.  He could feel the flames already.  Using Quick Attack, he darted to the nearest tree and clawed up it before disappearing in the branches.  He couldn't believe he was so weak as to be defeated by this group.  No matter, their time would come.

Vrakka noticed what she had done only when Victoria began to apologize to her.  She looked around, wondering how she had dug down so far so quickly.  She was only two feet from the surface, but it still happened very fast.  Whatever the case, digging seemed to be a very good thing for her to do.  The way her claws tore through the Earth just felt right.  She would have to make a burrow some time in the near future.  Underground seemed like a much better place for her than above.  Soon, she noticed things were getting quieter.  Had the angry Sneasel left.  Cautiously, Vrakka poked her head out from her little tunnel, examining her surroundings carefully.  It seemed like the danger had passed, and with no damage to herself!  Her friends however, were a different story.  They were injured and tired from their battle.  For some reason Vrakka couldn't figure out, she felt guilty for not helping in the battle, even though the Sneasel had been driven off in the end.

((My characters talk so little.  It's almost funny in comparison to everybody else's characters.  No matter, Vrakka will be more talkative when she feels more comfortable.  I think.))

Sally landed, breathing heavily, but grinning as usual.

"That was intense!" she said. Kyoko nodded.

"And thanks for the help." Kyoko said, turning to Akello and Victoria. She smiled. "Oh, I see that you've learnt how to use Dig, Vrakka! Nice move!"

"Sure is!" Sally said, beginning to hum to herself. It sounded a little more like buzzing than humming.

Akello snorted and turned tail after kicking the tree a few times.
"You better run!" he said and tiredly trotted back to the others.
He trotted past the bush, grabbing Victoria up with his mouth and tossing her onto his back without stopping, and slumped down near a tree where he was napping earlier.
"He's gone now, Victoria's safe, and I think we all deserve a nice nap..." he said, with accomplishment.

Victoria hooted quietly when she was thrown onto Akello's back but didn't complain.

((Oh geez...here comes the writer's block.  ;_;  I'm sorry about whatever tiny little post I throw out now.))

" Are you guys okay? " Vrakka asked, worried for her friends.  Sleeping sounded quite nice right now, but first she had to make sure he new friends were okay.  She might have to go find an Oran berry or something for them if they were hurt.  It would repay them for helping her earlier.

((You think we should have them sleep and then go battle trainers for a little while?  It'll make some basic action while we can work out the details of a newer, bigger plot that we can work towards and whatnot.))

((Yeah, that sounds pretty good.))

"I'm fine, Vrakka." Kyoko said, smiling.

"I'm okay too..." Sally said, with a yawn. "But I do feel tired." Kyoko yawned, too. She knew how Sally felt.

"How about we all take a nap?" Kyoko suggested.

"Sounds like a good suggestion to me!" Sally said, fluttering up and perching on a tree branch, closing her eyes.

"What do you think, Vrakka?" Kyoko asked.

Vrakka was relieved that her friends weren't hurt.  It made her feel a little better about herself.  " That's sounds like a good idea. " Vrakka said, begining to feel tired now that the fear of the Sneasel was gone.  What time was it?  Taking a quick glance towards the sun, Vrakka noticed it was almost sunset.  Yep, time to get a place to sleep before the nocturnal pokemon came out.  Vrakka returned to the hole in the ground she had dug earlier and went down it, curling up and sleeping at the end of it.

Kyoko shifted in her sleep. Wearily, she yawned and stood up. Sally noticed she was awake and fluttered down from her perch to see her.

"Morning!" she said, brightly.

"Morning, Sally." Kyoko said. "How long have you been awake?"

"Not that long." Sally said. "Watched the sun come up. Saw a few Staraptor and a Pidgey fly passed, but that's about it."
