Isae clutched Nevermore to her chest worriedly as the fog crept in, surrounding the two in a deep, stifling mist. Shivering the usually upbeat girl patted her murkrow's feathered head comfortingly as the bird Pokemon tucked her head under Isae's arm, shuddering. "I know, I know," the trainer muttered with annoyance as her Pokemon uttered a muffled squawk of indignation as the cold air touched her feathers. "I'd love to be somewhere warm too, but that's not exactly a choice since we're lost and in the middle of nowhere." She was met by silence.

"Fine, pout and be mad," Isae said stubbornly, and dropped the murkrow before stomping off in a huff, regreting her choice to go on that 'wild Pokemon adventure' that had taken days of persuading before her parents had allowed her to leave. The dark Pokemon keened and flapped her wings, heading after her trainer with what could be considered a colorful sigh.

"Come on Dipsi, I think I heard someone up ahead." Said Mizu softly to her small pokemon, who was sitting casually on her head. squinting to see through the opaque fog, she saw the silhouette of some being up ahead. The trainer held a blue totodile egg in her arms, currently taking the place of her togepi.

"Togepriii!" Chirped Dipsi, as he spotted a black pokemon on the floor. Whipping her pokedex out with one hand, whilst still holding the pokemon egg in the other, Mizu scanned the pokemon:

Murkrow, the darkness pokemon. Feared and loathed by many, it is believed to bring misfortune to all those who see it at night. 

 "Well that's nice isn't it." she muttered sarcastically. Settling the egg down on the floor and instructing Dipsi to look after it,  The pokedex was replaced with a note pad. She jotted down a few notes before referring to several pages in the front of the pad with different stones. "Dusk stone..." She pondered to herself. "Now where have I heard that before?" she asked herself.

Dipsi meanwhile was pacing back and forth like a guard, protecting the egg. Looking down, to Dipsi and the egg, Mizu chuckled. "I can hardly see you you know. "

"Hey!" Isae shouted angrily, swooping into the scene and grabbing Nevermore. "Don't do that again," she berated the murkrow angrily, poking it to make sure the Pokemon was alright. "You know perfectly I can't see in this fog when you can."

Nevermore squawked and struggled out of her trainer's arms, choosing instead to settle on Isae's shoulder. Glancing up to pat her Pokemon's head gently Isae blinked when she saw another trainer in front of her, clutching a notepad in one hand. "Oh...hi," she said slowly, her eyes wide. It was odd to find another Pokemon trainer here, considering the weather was terrible, but then again, it gave more chances for rare Pokemon sightings. "Is that...small Pokemon yours?" Isae asked, the fog blurring the tiny togepi and egg.

"It seems rather enthusiastic about guarding the egg though," Isae said with a laugh.
