"Sure." Alex shrugged turning off her car, she had nothing better to do, she got out of the car and locked it with the key then put it in her pocket. "So any waiters?" She grinned walking over, now she got a better look at the house, it was very nice..lots of windows unlike her house.

"No," James laughed, "No waiters." He said as he turned toward his house, Alex just behind him. "Nope, just me." He said as he unlocked the door to the house and opened the door for her. "Ladies first?" He said, sweeping a hand into the house. He turned on the lights.

Alex laughed walking into the house. "Wow, this is so..new." That was the only word she could find, new. She just stool infront of the door afraid to move and ruin something, in her house everything was old, and already scuffed up.

James came in behind her and closed the door. "...Is... new a good thing or a bad thing?" He asked her with a crooked smile as he took of his hoodie jacket and hung it up on the coat rack next to the door.

"Well, good I guess. Everything is shiny and won't rot or break easily." She shrugged. "The only thing new on my house is my garage and cars." She raised an eyebrow as she turned to face James.

"Oh, um. Thanks." She said walking a couple feel foward and looking into a room and turning her head and looking the other way into another room. "New." She mumbled under her breath. "Old it good, until you have to put fifty grand worth of repairs unto it." She stated.

James nodded, following her. It seemed odd to him how guests always peered around his home when they came inside. It was all so normal and usual to him that he didn't stop to appreciate what he had. And he found himself doing that very same thing at others houses. "Still, antiques are somewhat special." He said.

"I suppose so, but I'm probably going to sell it soon. I would make a nice fortune off of it, then move into a smaller house, well." She paused. "Not as big as the one I have, it's to empty and big for just one person." She looked around some more. "Plus I've been living in the house for over 90 years, it'd be nice to change things up. You know?"

"I suppose, I've only recently moved in here. Only about 7 years now." He told her, watching as she looked around. "And even this house gets too big for one person, so maybe smaller than this?" He joked.

"Well thats not manly." She laughed. "Usually men love to buy cars and big toys and such." She said grinning while taking off her sun gla.sses, it was rare when she could so she took the time she had to do so. Her crimson eyes were visible now, they looked so soulless and dark.

"Then I guess I'm not manly." He went along wit the joke. "I'm not really into getting the bigger, better thing. I like the small details that no one else seems to notice or care about." He informed her, looking at her eyes. "I don't see why you wouldn't want to show off your eye." He tolde her, moving her hair out of her face. "They're beautiful." He stepped around her to go to the kitchen. "You hungry? Thirsty?" He asked.

Alex lowered her head as he walked by her. "Yea, for a vampire. Usually normal humans don't have red eyes." She turned to face him. "Yea, I'm a little hungry." Her stomach reminded her, she hadn't had real food in days. She looked at the gl*censored*es in her hand and folded them up and put them in her pocket..as far as they'd go.

"Starving." She replied. "I might get normal colored contacts. Too fit in with the humans." She laughed walking over to the counter the kitchen was so pretty and modern, she was still in shock of the time gap the two houses had.

"That would probably be best. Wearing sun gla.sses all the time must be kinda... hard." He could find the right word for it. To have to wear sun gla.sses because your eyes are a different color seems to be really bad to him. "Anyway, come over here and see if you like anything I have."
