Eaglestar bared his teeth at Thrushsoar. "Come down here and fight me, or are you a coward, you mousebrain!" Eaglestar leaped up, his powerful hind legs scrabbling for a hold on the tree that Thrushsoar was on. He couldn't battle in a tree, but he could certainly chase a cat up a tree.
"You pathetic piece of nasty foxdung!" Eaglestar spat. "You have no right to come back here! I will kill you once I get the chance."

Snowbird glanced worriedly at Eaglestar. She hurried off to Blackstream to make sure she was okay.
"Is there anything I can do for you?" She whispered quietly, glancing at her wounds.

Willow sat down, observing, her eyes piercing Thrushsoar's. Something about Eaglestar seemed familiar, but she couldn't put her paw on it. His scent was... familiar... It smelled like... She couldn't just name it right now. Maybe after some thought it would come to her. Sighing, she rolled her eyes at Thrushsoar. She didn't know the pathetic scoundrel, but she could tell that the crazy cat was even stupider than Viperfang, if that was even possible.

Viperfang bared his teeth at Willow, recognizing her. He ignored her and yowled abuse at Thrushsoar, glancing approvingly at Redleaf, muttering something about how Thrushsoar should be killed, whether or not it was Eaglestar. He felt no pity for Whitetail, even if that idiot was her brother. It didn't matter. Eaglestar had given permission for any cat to kill him, so why not Viperfang? He lashed his tail in excitement, wanting to prove himself by striking down the exiled cat.

Thrushsoar hissed, climbing up to the peak of the tree, looking precariously over. Jump, then run for the few seconds of life you have left. Thrushsoar launched from the tree, landing on the ground with a thud, then running with all his might to try and get out of the clearing.

"Get him!" Redleaf yowled, running after Thrushsoar. You can't catch him. He was always fast. That's how he got his warrior name. Hissing and spitting, he veered in the opposite direction and went through the thorn wall, ignoring the thorns tugging at his thick pelt. Seeing Thrushsoar ahead on the path to Dirtplace, he walked slowly, trying not to be heard. A pang of panic stabbed him. A smell of a she cat was on this path.

Blackstream lifted her head up. "I'm fine." she meowed, looking at the holes in the thorn wall. "A she cat and one of her kits went there a minute ago!" she meowed. "Redleaf can't catch him! If Thrushsoar gets the she and the kit first he'll kill her!" Oh no. I must go. Starclan do something!

((Wait... a queen and a kit? xD We don't play anything like that. Should we just make up a bunch of NPC cats as we go along? :P))

Snowbird looked extremely alarmed. Her tail fluffed out in terror and the fur along her spine tingled. She shot out like a rocket, pelting toward the holes in the thorn wall. She spotted the tail tip of the queen flashing through the undergrowth. She finally managed to catch up when the queen paused to lick her kit, and Snowbird nearly slammed into the queen.
"Quick! Run! Thrushsoar will kill you and your kit if he finds you!" Snowbird gasped, out of breath. The queen's eyes were fearful, and she picked up her kit and scrabbled away, her plump body wriggling back through the hole as she escaped. The faint mews of the panicked kit could be heard, and Snowbird prayed to Starclan that the queen was safe.

"Thrushsoar!" Snowbird called out timidly. "I know you're there. I can smell you. Your scent is as filthy as ever, badger dung!"

[[That's what I was thinking. xD Because there's like no other cats beside us.]]

Thrushsoar was perched atop of a tree, looking down on Snowbird with a smile. Jumping down he hissed.
"You know I'll get away, and I know Redleaf won't catch me. No one will. Next time I'll come back and--"
Redleaf bowled him over, hissing and spitting as they rolled around. "Tell Eaglestar!" Redleaf hissed, trying to pin Thrushsoar down, but he was to fast as he escaped from his grip, batting the newly appointed warrior in the face. "Only Eaglestar or Viperfang can stop me now." he snarled, darting off. Redleaf ran after him, trying to chase him back to the clan.

Eaglestar let out a furious yowl. He flicked his tail at Viperfang and another warrior, Aspenfur. Aspenfur was a tortoiseshell who was very pretty with bright amber eyes. She was the fastest cat in the Clan. She was also an excellent tracker. Eaglestar commanded Aspenfur and Viperfang to go and try to track down Redleaf. Eaglestar joined the patrol himself, and sent Aspenfur to scout ahead. Baring his teeth, he swore to Starclan that he would not rest until he killed Thrushsoar.

Redleaf grew tired easily, and panted as he watched Thrushsoar become smaller as he ran farther away.
Running back, he nearly collided into Aspenfur and Viperfang. "Sorry!" he meowed, breathing heavily. "He's over on the ridge, running faster than ever." Maybe not fast to them, but to me he is.

"Thanks," Viperfang replied calmly. Aspenfur blasted forward, putting on a small burst of speed, her lithe body flowing gracefully. She soon streaked ahead of Viperfang and Eaglestar. Eaglestar was a little faster than Viperfang, his eyes full of determination. Aspenfur's long legs were soon eating up the ground, and her eyes were clear and confident.

Thrushsoar yowled, hissing atop of a tree. "I've twisted my paw!" He saw three cats dashing towards him. "Great." he meowed aloud, ready to launch to another tree, despite his twisted paw, knowing that those cats could knock him out of the tree.

Aspenfur looked at Thrushsoar with determination in her eyes. Hissing, she clawed up the tree that Thrushsoar was in. Eaglestar sneaked away into the next tree unnoticed. Viperfang distracted Thrushsoar by yowling abuse and calling him a traitor.

Thrushsoar's eyes darted around, waiting to fall off of the tree. All of a sudden, he saw a brown and white cat, dart through the bushes. I'm seeing things. He thought. No, I'm not, it's---

Whitetail emerged through the bushes, hearing a cat hiss with surprise. She knew the cats would think she'd take her brother's side, but they were wrong. "No, I'm not here to turn against the clan who raised me." she meowed calmly, tail not even shaking with fear. "I know my brother is a traitor to the clan, but I ask to have a word with him before he is killed and sent to the Dark Forest, because he will be rejected by Starclan." I'm surprised I sound so calm. "I don't ask you to let him go, though silently I do wish he would get one more chance." Her eyes flickered a bit. "Now, I do respect your decision to refuse my request." She closed her mouth, waiting for an answer.

Whitetail nodded, watching her brother. Thrushsoar hissed, but let them take him. He knew his ex- clanmates would catch him sooner or later. Jumping, he landed evenly on the ground, waiting to be surrounded. He looked at his sister, but all he saw were her cold blue eyes, filled with hatred, anger and pure sadness.

Eaglestar didn't explode with anger. His proud eyes and dignified air was the same as always. However, in his eyes, there was a trace of disappointment and regret in them, for Thrushsoar had been his trusted deputy.

"Whitetail," Eaglestar dipped his head to the warrior, signaling his approval. "You may speak to this traitor. He is no brother of yours. The Clan is your family, Whitetail. Not this mousebrain. Remember that."

Eaglestar stood next to Thrushsoar, glancing at him with disapproval in his gaze. "You will not have the chance to explain yourself. After Whitetail is done with you, we will probably kill you."

Thrushsoar let out a growl, before flicking his tail. Whitetail padded softly up to him. "You will reside in the Dark Forest." she hissed. "I thought you were loyal to the clan, but your greed for power overcame you." Thrushsoar grit his teeth. "I don't need a lecture Whitetail!" he retorted. Whitetail bared her teeth. "Barkfur would have regretted you under any circumstance. He thought you would be a proud leader one day, in time. You ruined that chance." Thrushsoar took a step forward. "Do you see me running away like a coward. I will take death as it comes." Whitetail nodded solemnly. "Very well brother. May darkness block your path." Whitetail extended a paw, restraining herself from mauling her brother, and walking off. I never thought of Barkfur. My father. What about Dapplebranch, my mother? Are they looking at me with cold eyes right now? They believed in me, when I was a kit, the strongest apprentice. I will never see them again, not even in the Dark Forest. I will not be granted to Starclan, not now.
