Star pretended not to notice Jake's glances at first, but quickly gave in. "I'm sorry." She managed, blushing an embarassed rosey color. "I just.... When I get nervous... I just need to chill." No pun intended, Star thought, finding that her statement came out as a rather cheesy joke. She sighed, concentrating, seeming to forget her worries. But still, the hail wouldn't stop. "Umm, I don't think that's me..." She played it off as best she could when she realized that the hail was rather stubborn, and wasn't willing to cease for anything. "Hehe...." She giggled, hoping to lighten up this situation. Maybe if the four of them would settle their differences, they could get to solid ground where Star had no chances of creating hail or snow, or whatever else her frigid aura could churn out.
"It's getting late..." She muttered, a quick change of subject. The sun was quickly sinking over the horizon.
