Leita went in as soon as Jay left. "Oh, Maybell." She said, going to her sister's side. Back by Rukiea, Jay sat down and put his head in his hands. |

Rukiea opened her eyes. How stupid can he be? He is guna get it. Rukiea looked at Jay. "How stupid can you be?" He eyes slightly red. "How can you do such a thing? This is just like you Jay. But i suppose you're just like this." She shrugged and grabbed the grinded herb. The wound began closing. She began walking to Maybell. She stood in front of her. "Hey, get a grip. This is just how Jay is. Your feelings for him may not change, but Jay is a hard person to have a relationship with. I've been his partner since day one and we still argue. Jay is just like this. Come on Maybell." She knelt down and put her hand on Maybell's shoulder. |

Jay sighed and stood up. He followed Rukiea for a few steps then stopped. Straining his ears, he listened to what was being said. I hate it but Rukiea's right. I'm being stupid. It is my fault. But how will I make it up to Maybell? Ooc: See, he does have a heart. Kinda. |

That night, I sabotaged the ruthless device... No one but me knew who did it... No one but Leita and I.... Well, and Strata, the second youngest, who is now also dead... And now, Ive told you. Want to know why I like Jay so much? He looks and acts almost exactly like my Zane, exept Zane had jet-black hair, and he was a tad easier to get along with, although he was a bit hard-headded.", MAybell said, barely a whisper. When she was finished, she burried her head in her hands and wept.

I lost all my loved ones at one time. That's when i decided to work with Jay. You can't ahng onto some vile feelings for another person. Zane and Jake are opposite. IF you love Jay, you gotta love Jay for who he is and not what you wish he was. You want Jay to be Zane. But Jay isn't Zane. and Zane is not Jay. Never say you love someone unless you love them for who they are and not what person you with they were or because they remind you of the one you loved and lost." She knelt by Maybell and put her hand on Maybell's head and shoulder. "It'll be okay Kid."

I'm almost old enough to take my place at the throne, and I need to be married before that time.", Maybel said forcefully, looking up at Rukiea, the tears gone from her eyes. "What I'm trying to say is, I... I... You're right... I lost the one I loved and I'm trying to fill a void that can never be sealed... I... I need Zane... He... I never got to say goodbye... I never got to give him one last kiss... The only thing I was allowed to do was watch his death, and that I was forced to do....", Maybell studdered, beginning to cry again, "You aren't me... I... I don't easily get over something... I need Zane back... I.. I have to be married because I'm his oldest child, and I am to assume the throne.... But... The only one I will ever truly love is Zane.... I... I can almost see his big brown eyes... His jet-black hair.... His gentile face..... I begged father to spare his life... I was on my knees, crying even harder than I am now... He still refused... He said that it wasn't a matter of love, it was a matter of security... I even had proof that he couldn't have been the killer, but... He still ignored my desperate pleading, and had my two best friends killed first.... The guards weren't the killers, my father was...." Rukiea sighed. She pulled Rosalie into a hug and said in a low voice. "Listen Kid. There is no way to bring back the dead. No way to undo what is done. And there will be no cure for the hole in your heart. I know how it feels. Not only did I loose my mother and father, I lost the one i loved too. I also lost my only brother. He was a guard here and tried to escape when his friend Zane was put to death. Jake tried to save Zane and was put to death at the very end." Rukiea shook her head and tears streamed down her eyes. "Listen, I know you miss Zane and you wish Jay was Zane, but he isn't. Look into Jay's eyes and you will see that he isn't what you want. But if you have to get married before you take your place on the thron, i'll stay by your side till that day comes. Even if i have to leave Jay to find another partner to work with.

He laughed wen he figured out his best friends were guna run away together." Rukiea smiled. "Maybe, we can put ur father through the same thing." Rukeia smirked eveily.
