Ooc: Sorry I've been off for awhile. Bic: Jay shook his head as he listened. He had planned to stay hidden but when Rukiea mentioned putting the King through what Maybell felt, he stepped in. "Rukiea, are you crazy? Have you forgetten who her father is? He's the King! Try to do anything and we will be locked up or end up like the old guards! He won't think twice about the protection we've been giving to the princesses!" |

Rukiea jumped. "Damn it Jay... Ruin it huh?!" Rukiea stood up and grabbed Jay by his shirt collar. She whispered. "Why did you come in here? I was trying to comfort the princess. Of course I know her father is the King and your fighting skills could come in handy if i actually did plan on doing that!"

Maybell sniffled and looked up twoards Jay. "So, you have been listening. Well, you took the words straight from my mouth. I couldn't think of having you two killed as the guards were... As Zane was... There is a difference between what I want to do, and what I will acctually do. This is one of those things that I wish to do, but will not accomplish. Ever. I don't wish to jepordize your lives. All I want is to have Zane, Galin, Jake, and all of the other friendly guards back... I'd do anything for the person that helped me accomplish that... Anything.... But sadly, that is impossible, unless there is some unknown magic that only a select few people know about, than I will never see Zane's smiling face anywhere exept in my dreams..."

Jay pushed her away. "Sorry," he whispered back. "I wasn't thinking." He turned to Mayell. "Listen I'm sorry. I'm sorry that Zane and all of the other guards were killed and I'm sorry that I remind you so much of him. That has to be hard. I'm also sorry that there is nothing that anyone can do to bring him back. But you should be happy again. Zane would want you to be and Leita wants that too, I'm sure." He paused. "I want you to be happy also. So what do you say? Are you ready to start moving on?" |

"You know your father didn't mean it. He wanted to protect you at any cost. I think he was afraid that the only reason Zane was so close to you was to use you or betray you. It isn't impossible to be happy without him. The way you do it is to accept that fact that he is gone and move on. That doesn't mean forgetting about him altogether. You should never forget about anyone you lose altogether but you continue your life without them. You can do that."

Maybell looked up at Jay, her eyes watery and her face having a reddish tint. "He knew that Zane would never do those horrible things. Zane was his most trusted guard. The only reason that he even had him, his brother, and Jake done away with along with the other guards, was that my father didn't want me to marry a man whom wasn't of noble birth. I am his oldest daughter, and he never had a son. Father didn't want, as he would say, 'a dirty servant' running his country. Father doesn't care about anyone but himself, or anything but politics.", She said, her voice wavering.

I do have the magic and i might be able to learn sum kind of spell like that... If it makes you feel any better. i can try my best to learn it or even find the damned spell. Maybe i can bring back Jake as well and the other friendly guards." She looked solely at Maybell then at Jay. He eyes flickered red and back. "Hmmm... Maybe i can learn it..." |

Rukies's eyes flashed red. She shut her eyes and concentrated on a few unusual ppl around the castle. She stuck her sword in the ground and shut her eyes tighter. "Jay, there are a few ppl outside the castle... about 4 yards to the north, 6 yrd to the east and 10 yrds to the south....."
