He nodded. "Wait a few moments after I'm still then go. Hopefully we attack near the same time. Well, I better get going." He turned his horse around and started to go around to the other side. While riding, he pulled out his sword, not wanting to wait the few moments he would have between Rukiea sensing he stopped and the attack.

Rukiea galloped the opposite way of Jay and closed her eyes. Your still moving.. Alright. She opened her eyes and got ready to attack.

Jay continued to ride until he found a good spot for him to stop. It would be difficult for any of the kidnappers to see him and it should be close to being exactly in front of Rukiea. Pulling on the horses riens, he stopped, ajusted his grip on his sword and counted to 5 silently.

Rukiea possitioned herself across from Jay and noticed he had stopped. "Oh damn.." She nicked the horse and it ran foward. Come on Jay.

Finishing counting, he urged his horse on, sure that Rukiea was already doing the same. Coming up on the camp, the startled kidnappers heardt the hoofbeats, not entierly sure what was oing on.

Rukiea smirked as she senced the surprise she and Jay had caused. She sliced at a guard holding the king. MIssing his neck by a few inches but sliced halfway through his head. She flung off the blood and motioned for the king to get on. "Come on Sir! We need to get you out of here."

Jay kept an eye on the King as he stumbled over to Rukiea. Maunerving his horse so he was right behind, Jay slashed his sword at first one then two of the soliders. Both fell dead. "Go on, I'll finish off these two." He called out to his partner. He looked at the two remaining soliders, one standing strong, the other, slightly quivering.

Rukiea trusted Jay and tossed him a small vial. "That should help you if your injured. I'll leave the rest to you." She smiled and whipped the reins. Th ehorse galloped out of the camp.

Jay caught the vial and tucked it into his shirt pocket. He climbed down his horse and stepped towards the remaining men. He directed his attention to the quivering one. Easily taking care of him, though he did try to defend himself, he took another step towards the one left. Jay was surprised when the kidnapper made the first move and cut Jay's arm. Jay, ignoring the pain, jab a few times at him before making the killing move. When he finished wiping his blade, he looked at his cut. Not too deep. I should have blocked that. He took the vial that Rukiea gave him and put a few drops of its contents on the wound. Then, he climb back on his horse and rode towards the castle. Leita pursed her lips. She could tell that there was more to the story than want Maybell told her but she could see that Maybell didn't want to talk about it. Leita would let the matter drop. For now at least. |

Rukiea took the King through the stables and took him inside. "Leita! Maybell!! I have you father! Do you have like a place he can be so he can recover?"

Leita ran over ot her Father's side. "Yes, his personal bedroom. Hsi maid will take him there." She said and pulled on a small rope that hung near the throne room entrance. In a few moments, the King was being helped up the stairs by a young lady. Leita watched him go then turned to Rukiea. "Thanks for saving him." She gave a huge smile. Jay slowed down to a trot when the stable neared. Jumping off, he took off the sadle and handed her off to a stable boy. He walked inside. "So, did you guys get here okay?" He asked. |

Rukiea smiled at Leita. "It's a job..." She turned her attention to Jay. "Yes, we got here in one piece. The King was a little disoriented but he's okay now." She looked at his wound. "You used the vial already?"

"He took me by surprise! He was the only one who decided to try anything." Jay procted hisself. "I don't know how they did it. Maybe you just let you guard slip when we were talking."
