Rukiea looked at Jay. "Yes i am doing it. My brother died for something he didnt do. And i'm not living like this. I miss my brother and the only family i ever had. I swore to always find him when we ran away. But he died. Now i wana bring him back." Rukiea's gold eyes filled with tears. "Why cant you just understand that!!" Tears fell in rythm down her cheeks. The color faded from her eyes.

Rukiea looked at Jake. The color completely faded from her eyes, now black. She blinked and dropped the book and the vial with her blood. She hugged Jay and tears streamed down. "I dont really care anymore...... But i bet you dont have anybody that died that was super close to you..." She squeezed him tighter.

Jay put one arm around her and hugged her back. "You're right. I've never lost someone close to me before so I can't imagine how horrible it must be."

Her eyes began gaining color. "See.... You wouldnt understand.." She loosened her arms around Jay. Her eyes flared red and she sensed two men. She quickly let go of Jay and unsheathed her sword. "Jay. we hav to cut this short, but there are two men coming on horseback. And they r coming quickly."
