"Jake is alive? You told me he had been killed with the other guards?", Maybell said, amazed, having recognized the boy instantly, "Can anyone explain that to me? Have you completed the spell? And, is my Zane back as well?"

"Who was that kid?", Mallick asked, utterly and completely confused, "And who's Zane?"

"That's what I thought too princess, but he's just as alive as we are... I havent even started that syupid potion and i'm not sure if he brought Zane along with him.. I'm not guna asnwer the Zane question, you can ask Jake yourself." She looked to the window. "But i'm certain that if Jake survived, so did Zane.."

Jake smirked. "so, she wants Znae does she?" Jake took out a vial from his pouch. "They shoudl know I completed the spell, but I really need his bone..." Jake smiled and jumped quickly onto the window ledge. He held up the vial. "So, do you know what this is?"

Rukiea looked at Jake adn the vial. Her mouth dropped open and she stuttered. "n-no way... Y-you have the r-revival potion?! I-i cant even do that!!"

"You have it?", Rosalie asked, surprised, "You can bring Zane back?! Will you?"

Mallick groaned. No one was paying him any attention.

Rukiea looked at Mallcik. "THat's Jake. My brother who I believed was killed by the princess's father, but he appearantly is still alive and well." She looked at Rosalie. "Jake is going to say it's guna cost you."

Jake looked at Rukiea. "Very good. And yes, it will cost you. You have to show me the grave, dig up his coffin, and give me a bone." He smiled. "Then, i can most surely bring your precious Zane back. Which reminds me!" Jake reached into his pocket and held out a small rolled up paper. "It's from Zane. It's supposed to be a love note. I never opened it though, it was his dying wish that I brought it to you."

Jay groaned to himself. Why tell him where the grave is? Messing with the dead brings no good!

"You can bring Zane back?" Leita asked curisouly. She was never that close to him but she did know him pretty well. "But, why would you? I mean, you guys were friends but are you really sure you want to bring him back? What if he is nothing like he used to be?"

"Oh hush. I've brought several people back to life and they are all fine. As long as they havent been murdered or they lived a reletively happy life. They all come back exactly the same." Jake smirked.

"Jake dont! You dont know what your doing!!!"

Jake followed Maybell. "so, you really did like this dude... I knew for a fact he loved you too. His only thing was to protect you. And before he died, all he gave me was a stupid little note for you and nothing for me to remember his by. He was my best friend so I decided to study alchemy and i cam across the reserection potion. I only was my best friend back. He was always so nice."

"damn it..." Rukiea looked at Jay. "Are we going to let them go back there and meddle with the greave??"

"Forget it then." Jay said as he left the castle. Slowing down, he came up behind him. "Guys, at least think about this before you do this." He said. "Think about it for the night and in the morning we can talk about it."

Leita sighed as she watched the others leave. "Well then, looks like I'm stuck watching you."

Jake looked at Jay. "Oh, there is nothing to talk about and nothing more to think about. DO you not THINK she wants Zane back? Do you THINK Zane would love to be back in her arms, guarding her, loving her, guarding the castle that he loved so much?" He smiled and looked at the graves.

"Jake, do you THINK its good to dig up his grave for your own use? Do you THINK the King will keep him alive again? Will you even get this through your thick skull?! Will you ever make her and him happy by just making him live once again?!"

Maybell carefully broke the seal on the old envelope, and gently pulled the letter from inside it. This is what it said:

I'm sorry that I couldn't  spend more time with you, Maybell, but with the death of your sister, the King has become suspicious of us. All of the guards, including me, are to be killed in two days, on the Fifteenth of August; my brother's birthday. Some present. I do, and will always, love you. Don't ever forget that. Jake has found a way to escape, and will give this letter to you whenever he is able to return. I refused to go with him, for I find that if I was needed to escape, a way will present itself when the time comes, but in a more legitimate form. Besides, if I ever was caught afterwards, my life would be made miserable and I'd be wishing that I had stayed. I hope you understand my position.

If you find someone else, go for him. I do not wish to destroy your life because someone destroyed mine. Do not try to bring me back, for I fear what might happen if you fail. I do not want you to go through that kind of agony ever again in your lifetime. See you on the other side,
