 Leena was completely surprised by Jake's announcement, having not expected that this handsome, rugged boy was a slave. Or that anyone wold beat him for his underling's mistakes. And the rings on his wrists... This was all too much for Leena, a simple maid who had never seen so much pain inflicted upon a single person before. She gently touched the ring, jerking her hand back suddenly. It was red-hot. "You may not have told me your name, but that does not mean that I cannot feel immense sympathy for you.", Leena said, turned away so that Jake could not see the tears flowing down her face, and the hatred in her eyes for whoever did this to him.

Jake tilted his head in confusions. "Why? I don't understand how you can care about someone like me. I'm not even sure why anybody would care about me." He sighed and rewrapped his wounds and placed his gloves back on. He clicked his sheath onto his belt again and sighed. He huged her tightly. "Don't cry and don't worry. I'm fine. Even if your just a maid, your really nice for caring about me." He spun her around and wiped her eyes. He smiled sweetly. "Now, help me with my boots please?"

Leena nodded, smiling ever so slightly. "Of course.", she said softly, nodding once and leading Jake to the stables. To herself, she thought, "How could someone not care for you? You are kind, caring, and respectful. If I had the opertunity or the strength, I would kill his master myself for treating him the way he did. I'll see if I can get the nurse to look him over later." "What is your name, anyway?", she asked quietly, looking up at Jake, "You never did tell me. You know who I am, but I haven't heard your name." 

((Sweet. I'll make it happen later.))

Jake looked at Leena. "My name? Well, my master called me IT but my sister calls me Jake. And her last name is Kurosaki. So i'm Jake Kurosaki." He smiled a bit confused. He's never had to say his name and responded to IT most of the time because his master never bothered to learn names. "Yeah, That's my name. Just call me Jake." He said as he followed her.

 "Jake? That's a nice name.", Leena said, her smile growing slightly. She was thinking, "If someone has such a wonderful name as this, how could anyone call him it?!" Once inside the stables, she grabbed a hoof pick and went to work at s raping the gunk off of the bottoms of Jake's boots, carefully avoiding puncturing the soles. "Who's your sister?", she asked, after finishing the job, standing, and handing the two boots back to Jake, "The name Kurosaki sounds familiar."

((*Eats*))

"Y- You're welcome...", Leena stammered, blushing "Oh, I know Rukiea, she's one of Princess Leita and Princess Maybell's protectors. That's why the name sounds familiar.", she continued, "And of course, I'll convince him, and I'm sure Mistrisses Maybell and Leita will help. No one deserves to be a slave." "Especially not you", she added to herself, "And if the king refuses, I'll go back with you and kill your master with my own hands. The evil ******* deserves to die."

Leena tensed up when Jake lifted her of the ground, but soon relaxed in his gentile embrace. "I will see to it that you are allowed to remain here as long as you wish.", Leena said, her voice wavering. She was exited about being carried by Jake, this handsome man that was the brother of a protector. Than it hit her. He was a slave, he would never be allowed to stay here, especially not when his master treated him the way he did. And he would never allow Jake to fall in love with someone, especially not a lowly maid from another kingdom. But she would try. She would do everything in her power to free him, even if it meant her own demise. She would see to it that Jake was never beaten again, if she could. Her mind wandered back to the present, and Leena blurted, "JAke, I hope you are able to remain here, and never have to go back to your  horrible master. If that ever happened, I don't know what I'd do." She looked away, surprised at herself for thinking aloud, and most of all, while he was carrying her. She didn't wish to be dropped.

Maybell nodded in agreement with Jay and added, "Your right, his hair is off several shades." 

Jake merely laghed and smiled. "I'm not like Rukiea, you know, her gift is seeing what can happen in the future, or see some distance to look for enemies. My gift is sensitivity to others' emotions." He smiled. "Don't worry, your fine. I know if I go back, at least I know I have someone to come to if i get badly injured or he kicks me out." He smiled a gentle smile. He looked outside. "It's sunrise already?"

Rukiea nodded. "Yeah. like a few hundred shades." She looked at the sky." Oh no..." She ran to Zane's grave and noticed the blue glow was disappearing. She quickly uncapped her vial and poured it on the grave. "Zane, do not wake up. I'm sorry."

Leena felt like her heart would stop when Jake told her about his ability. He knew? He seemed to be okay with it, though. Once she had calmed down slightly, she replied, "Yeah, why? And, I'll help you if ever you need it, regardless of what it takes. But you knew that already."

"Yes" , Maybell admitted quietly, "But I wouldn't go against Zane's wishes for anything. Not for the whole world."
