The owl bearing Cain's letter arrived shortly after noon when the family was sitting down at the table for their lunch. Cain's mother - the witch - was using her wand to make the meal while his muggle father watched with utter fascination, often commenting or asking a question.

Cain ducked his head to hide the smile that broke onto his face. His father was so interested in witchcraft and wizardry, Cain often wondered why he wasn't a wizard. A suddely tapping on the window brought him out of his thoughts. Jumping off the chair he was knealing on to the window were a tawny owl stood patiently with an envelope clapt tightly in its beak.

"Mother!" Cain called as he opened the window. The owl hopped through and landed lightly on his arm as it offered the envelope to him.

"What is it Cain?" his mother replied, coming towards him.

"An owl came," Cain said, turning towards her. The movement was fast enough for the owl to flare its wings to steady itself on Cain's arm.

With an interested brow raised, his mother took the envelope from the owl and opened it. The owl flew off after Cain stroked its stomach feathers. After the clight read-through, his mother smiled broadly. "Cain, you've been accepted into Hogwarts!"

The white-haired boy's jaw dropped before he closed it with an autible snap. "Awesome!"

"We'll go to Diagon Alley after lunch," his mother promised.

Soon enough, Cain and his mother were walking around Diagon Alley to get the supplies he needed for his first year at Hogwarts. First, they got his robes, then his books, and finally the other supplies he needed. Though, she saved getting him a wand for last. Eventually, they got that too. Cain's blue eyes shone with excietment as he held the box that contained it close to his chest.

Silvie raced down the streets of Diagon Alley... she had just gotton all of her supplies and was now on her way to meet the new first years, that she would grow up with.  She curved between the adults and almost bumped into a boy her age, holding a box... she stopped just in time, "Oh excuse me..." she said embarrased... then she saw the boys hair...it was a silvery color, she thought it looked amazing, "woah, I like your hair." she smiled at him, similar excitement dancing in her eyes, she was excited to go to a magical school for ones like herself, and learn to master her abilities. and then heard Jason calling her name.

"Silvie! Come on, you've still got to pack!  Your mother is leaving." Jason yelled...knowing Silvie would come soon.

Silvie rolled her eyes. "umm... I guess I'll see you on the train." she pulled the hair out of her face and gave a quick wave, before turning the way she came. She hated strangers, but felt bad that she almost trampled the boy... then she realized, that the boy may have people make fun of him for his hair color...the thought made Silvie smile, she loved seeing people picked on, but she did like his hair, and would stand up for it

Hannah ran into Diagon Alley, her father and mother beside her. Her exitement showed; her hair was changing into tons of different colours. "Come on!' She urged. Soon, they had everything they needed, including her wand. "Thirteen inches, willow," She said proudly. "containing one pheonix feather." She clutched the item close to her chest. She noticed another boy, who seemed to be in first year as well. "oh, hello," she said. "my names Hannah. What's yours?" Her hair turned to a silvery colour, matching the boys's. "Do you have a pet? I got mine." She held up Parsley's carrier.

Rena was walking around admiring the small alleyway crammed with witches and wizards. She had grown up knowing about magic and loved it. She was on her way to catch a ride to the Ministry of magic, to visit her father. "I cant wait to see the look on his face when he sees what im bringing him." She began skipping to the place where her father had told her to go for the ride, and stopped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She began to turn around but the hand prevented that from happening. "You are Mr. Jade's daughter correct. I need you to bring him this, and hurry." The man shoved a letter into her basket and she heard a pop. He apparated, and there was no point in staying so she came to her destination, got in carrige and left to visit the governer of the depatment of Mysteries.

((oh we at the train now? Im not anywhere near it... i guess ill come late then))

Cain turned to Silvie and gave a friendly smile. But he could put in no words since she was off again. Sighing slightly, he turned to the girl that had told him her name. "I am Cain," he said, blinking slightly when he saw her hair change colour. "How did you do that?" After her asked the question, a pure white raven lit down on his shoulder and lightly nippled on the boy's earlobe. Cain chuckled and rubbed the stomach feathers of the she-raven. "This raven called Riiva and a pure black she-cat called Midnite. But Midnite is at home at the moment, probably curled up on my pillow," he added as Riiva glanced at Hannah with a black eye. The raven's beak was absentmindedly playing with a strand of Cain's white hair.
