McGonagall looked at Jason, "Thank you Jason, i think i understand better now, and thank you Dark, for stopping the fight when you did. Now, um..Zynonia, what is your side of the story?" McGonagall asked.

((I'm trying to be as fair as possible.  =] ))

McGonagall sighed. "Nevertheless, it was a great disturbance.Zynonia, Chandler, Alex, Rosetta, and Faith, i'm afraid you will have have detentions, but no points will be taken from your houses."((She will replace the points she took away earlier))

McGonagall looked each of them in the eye. ((That seemed fairest to me. Three Ravenclaws get in trouble, and only the Slytherins that attacked with the snakes get punished.Any problems.))

Alex gasped, and almost tried to argue with McGonagall, but then realized he HAD broken the rules and shut up.

Chandler hung her head and almost started crying. In her two years at Hogwarts, she had NEVER gotten a detention. 

((Sorry...gime a minute..))

McGonagall realized someone was yelling at her. "Ok then, what is your side of the story?" 

Silvie's fists clenched, Mcgonagal still wasnt being fair, why should ANY slytherin to be punished?  she was about to speak but Jason quickly interferred almost sencing Silvie's tension...."I believe that Zygonia missed the part when she and Chandler high fived and were laughing at the situation..." Jason hissed.  "And rules state that any dangerous creature that threatens anybody...should be..umm...taken care of....since Zygonia could NOT control her pet, who knows how many injuries can be inflicted, some worse than mine...." Jason grimaced, suddenly realizing that Silvie was smiling, as if he took the words from her mouth.

Silvie took a deep breath and closed her eyes, trying to make sure her temper didnt get the best of her.  "and if Zygonia says that she can control her pet, then... it prooves that she sent the beast to attack Jason."  Jason gulped realizing the harsh reality of Silvie's words, she was right...  Silvie still stared angrilly towards the floor... execute the lizard and then laugh about it later... Faith and Rosetta had no reason to be punished.  Even though their pets were involved, its not like they commanded them to attack... she held her tongue, knowing that what was released would not be pretty.

Draco made his way into the Slytherin common room, he found his trunk by his bed and gazed at the room where he would spend the rest of the year.  He twidled his thumbs, wondering when Silvie and Jason would come back.

Katie and Kierra were antsy...they paced about the common room and everytime the door opened they would look up abruptly to see if it was their friends.

Chandler couldn't help it anymore. "Well, i distinctly heard you two say 'Lets see how they like it' and then sent your snakes at us!SO it wasnt JUST us." Alex smiled and nudged Chandler .

McGonagall ha d a headache,and wished this argument would just be over all ready.

((Chandler must have super hearing then 0.o)) 

McGonagall shot Snape a look but didn't say anything to him

"You will be informed about your detentions via letter,don't think about skipping it."

Chandler and Alex filed out silently, then headed towards the common room because the feast was over. They waited up for Zy once they were out of sight of McGonagall's office. 

Chandler widened her eyes in mock surprise "Really?" She asked sarcastically.

Alex elbowed Zy and said "Nice job getting a detention on your first day,kid"
