Faith and Rosetta st in the front, bored out of their minds. They put the snakes back in their tanks and sighed. Faith reached over and grabbed Salem, who was still trying to stalk Shadow.
The cat purred in the hands of her owner, and looked at the students, with big cold, yellowish-greeneyes.

Mitts was wandering around when he found the potions cl*censored*room... he thought Silvie looked bored, so purred under her desk, rubbing her leg with his head.  Silvie reached down and scratched his ear quickly.

Katie finished, she walked up and gave the paper to Faith, she was smiling and went back to her seat, her curly hair bouncing as she went.  She whispered quietly to Silvie as they waited, making sure not to disturb the cl*censored*.

Faith graded the paper after reading it. Writing another 'A', and throwing it onto the small forming pile.

Zynonia had been doodling for a little bit now and had made a dragon she was particularly fond of.  It was a Hungarian Horntail that she thought looked like it would be named Xyandor to her.  She wrote the fake dragon's name underneath it and silently cast a charm under her desk on the picture that made the dragon move.  It would look around sometimes and let out a silent roar on the paper of breath a puff of fire.  She liked it.

Silvie whispered to Katie over the as.signment..."I actually like this cl*censored*." Silvie grinned happily.

Katie rolled her eyes, "All we did is one as.signment, and you LIKE it?" she asked wide eyed...Silvie has always been smart, she was nervous she would be a ravenclaw...what a mistake that was.  However Silvie always frustrated her, she didnt want people to KNOW she was smart... it drove her insane, but she kept this fact between herself and Kierra.

Draco finished and brought his paper up silently, going back to his seat and joining the conversation, careful not to be heard by even the people directly in front or behind.

Silvie nodded slowly and opened her book once more smiling as she read. 

Draco looked at Katie and they both shrugged... watching Silvie read...shes officially lost it, katie thought.

Shadow swooped down behind her(Zynonia) and picked the paper up in his talons, and took it to Faith.
She looked it over and after handing Salem to Rosetta smirked and took it to her father.
Snape took the paper and stood up, "Who's work is this?" He asked looking around at the students.

Silvie looked up from her book...thinking that she was in trouble for reading ahead... she hated being called out by teachers.  But she looked at the picture...and looked down, it wasnt hers... at first she was worried that it was her cat picture of Mitts from earlier in cl*censored*, she was relieved when it wasnt.

Katie and Draco hid a smile....busted Draco thought

Zynonia, who was a little unhappy at having her picture snatched away like that raised her hand, smiling slightly. " I drew it, sir. " She actually felt somewhat proud of herself.  She loved it when other people saw the works of art she made.  It made her feel...complete or something like that. " You can keep him if you want, sir. " Zynonia said, not realizing she might get into trouble for drawing.  After all, she had never had a reason to think that way.  Most people liked her art.

Zynonia was upset.  Not at the fact that she had detenetion and her picture was in shreads, but that she had gotten trouble for the rest of the cl*censored* as well.  She held her head lower than normal, feeling fully depressed until Iguana clicked comforting words to her to try and cheer her up.  She stroked him, wondering why so much trouble had been made over one of her drawings.  Then, she remembered something that made her angry.  Doddle!  He called her drawing a doodle!  It was much more than that in her eyes.  It was a masterpeice!  A work or true art!  Some people just didn't appreciate the skill and effort put into a half decent drawing.  She metally told herself to calm down and get over her useless emotions.  Be sad or angry would change nothing.  It might just make things worse for all she knew.  She put on a calm mask of indifference and began wondering what she would be doing in detention anyways.

((Poor Xyandor the dragon.  He should have a funeral. O3o))

Katie face palmed, Draco and the others groaned.  Silvie heard Crabbe slam his head on the desk...Silvie sat quietly, she was upset about the extra homework... but her father educated her about the history of potions long before Hogwarts...she could probobly write it easily, she glared at Zygonia...first her iguana nearly kills Jason and now this... then her thoughts came...Jason... did he ever come out of his room?  She was glad Snape never found her drawing... But Draco saw it, he said it was amazing, like a portrait in the castle.  She smiled at this but hid it anyway.

((*sobsob*We gather here today to bury the shredded body of Xyandor the Dragon, who lived to the grand ole age of 2 minutes.  That is all*dumps paper into trashcan*  May he rest in peace.))

Zynonia thought for a moment, wondering if they would be allowed to start homework here, or if Snape was the kind of teacher who wanted homework done in the library or something of that sort.  WAit, what time was it?  She wished there was a clock in here to help her.  She never had much of an internal clock.  She couldn't cast a charm to tell her, because Snape said no to her neat little tricks.  Looked like she was going to have to wait for cl*censored* to end and go find a sun dial or something.

Silvie felt her hair fall into her face as she looked at the desk... Draco sat silently next to her rolling his eyes on the extra homework.  Katie blew her quill back and fourth... a sign her talkative friend was completely and utterly bored.  Silvie wanted something to do, but didnt want to cause any noise.  She cast her green eyes at her clas.smates, wondering what they were thinking.  She was also looking for flaws she could use in a fight later.
