Mitch got up and walked over to the fountain next to Moon. He looked in the door and grabbed a regular Coke. "Thanks," He said with a small smile. After taking a sip, he noticed Moon's tail flame go out. "...Does it hurt when that fire goes out?" He asked curiously, one large ear flopped down, making him look like a rabbit, Absol, human mix.

"Yeah. Like hell. And I cant use my fire when it goes out. Gah!" She grunted and took one of the torches from the wall, trying to use the flames to start her tail back up but it failed. Pain spiked up her tail and spine. She sighed and glanced up at Mitch. "Usually I have to wait a few hours before it comes back on."

"Ohh, that sucks..." Mitch said with a wince. Moon looked like she was in pain for a moment, and he knew of pain oh too well. "Well, I don't mind waiting here for a few hours if you don't?" Mitch said with a grin, lightly, fake punching Moon on the shoulder. He laughed and sat down on his chair again.

"A few hours? I live here." She said, glaring at the fountain as she flexed her wings. "You know, I can actually fly with these things. It just feels...odd when people see me flying." She laughed and plopped down into her chair and turning to look at him.

"Oh..." Mitch said awkwardly. He really sounded like an as.s there. "And that's pretty cool... I wish I could fly. Terrorize some humans and pluck them on the tallest trees in the forest, with no one to help them... Hah, if only I could fly." Mitch made his little speech and grinned like a fool, which was very uncommon for him.

The flame on Moon's tail flickered on then off and more smoke sizzled from it. She bit her lip and picked up her tail. "Got a lighter?" She asked Mitch. Maybe she could get it started then. Reaching under her chair, she pulled out a stack of books and took the top one off, opening it to the page that had a book mark. She had started the book that morning.

Mitch waved some smoke away from his face before patting his pockets, looking for a lighter. "I don't think I do... I usually don't have a need one." Mitch said after his search. After a short pause, he added, "Sorry..." He leaned back in his chair and put his head on the stone wall, closing his eyes even though he wasn't tired.

Moon shrugged. "Oh well." She put down her book and stood, grabbing a broom from the wall and beginning to sweep and clean. She restocked the drinks and snacks in the minifridge and then lay back down and relaxed.

He paused and again looked at her as she sat down. He cleared his throat before turning on his side and saying," You know, earlier, when you kissed me?" He asked, his eyes burning with that little flame again, his words soft compared to his eyes. |

"You missed," He stated plainly. Then, a second later, he chuckled lightly to himself and leaned over to Moon. He was about an inch away before saying, "I think you meant to get my lips..." He raised his eyebrow teasingly and grinned again.

Moon grinned back. "Did I now?" She said and locked her arms around his neck. "I wonder if I miss this time." She smiled and softly pressed her lips against his. ((Sorry about the short posts. My eyes are burning for some reason and I have to type with my eyes closed.))
