Damon didn't bother to stop her,only let her take her anger out on his already-healing skin.The silver did nothing to him,but he felt the pain nontheless.

"Done yet?"He asked curiously."Oh,and you don't have to remind me of what I am"

Zylvan growled and slashed at Damon's face, aiming for the jaw. "I already know what the bloody hell you are. Vampire," she said. "I may be almost blind, but my other senses are hightened." Her nose wrinkled. 

"You smell like death and decay."

"I never claimed that I wasn't one,"Damon answered,smirking.He leaned down to her,so she could hit him

"Are you.Done yet?"He asked again,pulling her away from him 

Zylvan flashed a wicked smile. "Not even close," she said as she kicked him as hard as she could... in the fork of his legs.

Damon grunted,falling to his knees.All at once the wind around them picked up,and a ring of fire circled them

"You shouldn't have done that,"He said,his voice now dangerous."You know,I am thirsty..."He added,flashing her his black eyes.The fire around them picked up,as the the wind drowned out any sound.Damon laughed,a cold,bitter sound.He slowly advanced at the girl,flashing his silver teeth

Zylvan narrowed her eyes as the whipping wind flung her hair around. It also moved her red-dyed hair away from her hazy gray eyes. She hooked her fingers into claws as the silver reflected the fire light.

"I'm not scared of you anymore," she growled. Her voice lined with hatred.

"Good.It'll make things so much easier,"Damon replied,as grabbed her.In one fluid movement,he had his fangs to her neck,his arms restraining her.

"No,no no!"He yelled,releasing her.He shook hi head back and forth,as he will his eyes to change back to normal

"NO!" 

Zylvan had let out a small surprised gasp when he grabbed her shoulders and pressed his fangs to her neck. She hadn't even tried to struggled, feeling his arms wrap around her back; plus she knew it was usless.

She let out a small hiss when he released her. Stumbling back, she rubbed her neck slightly and glanced at Damon. "What?" she asked, her tone harsh. "Can't you do it?"

Zylvan snorted. "Beings of the dead do not make promises to themselves." Twitching her head slightly, her hair fell in front of her eyes before she turned on her heel and stalked off. 

But then she ran into a tree. "God!" she snapped. "Why did you make me blind!" Rubbing her nose, she growled slightly.

"I can make that disappear,"Damon said,appearing in front of her.

"And I'm not dead,my heart still beats," 

Zylvan punched Damon in the shoulder and stalked off. "I don't need yor help, vampire," she growled, still angry. But then she stopped and half turned towards Damon, before bolting in the other direction with tears rolling down her face.

"Just leave me alone."

A soft whisper p*censored*ed her lips.

"If that is what you wish,"Damon whispered back,before  a mist pa.ssed,and he was gone.

Of course,not gone far.Since she was his Singer,he had to watch over her,and protect the half blind girl.He wanted to give her the world and more,but he didn't know where to begin.

Zylvan got to her house and slammed the door behind her when she broke down. A sob ripped from her chest as she sank to her knees. Her mother and father were in bed, so the only other person in the house was her older twin brother; Acheron.

"Zyl?" he asked, his voice coloured with concern. He came over to her from his place in the kitchen.

"Ash!" she cried as she suddenly hugged him. Her voice quivered.

"What happened, Zyl?"

Zylvan shook her head and buried it into Acheron's stomach. "... scared," her voice came. Acheron nodded and gently led her to the couch. He sat down and let Zylvan's head rest on his lap as he watched his younger twin start to fall asleep.

"I wish I knew what scared you, Zyl," he said as his dark red hair fell infront of his silver eyes. "I want to help you..."

Damon's heart jumped,as he saw her fall and cry.God,it made him feel like dying,to see her like that.He leaned away from the house,shaking his head.The tree that he was on swayed in the increasing wind.Damon got increasingly angrier at himself,muttering curses.

"I shouldn't have been so stupid..."He sneered,as he punched the tree.It shuddered,as half of it's leaves fell in a flurry of wind.It had started raining again,only now it was impossible to see a foot in front of yourself. 

Soon Zylvan fell asleep with her head on Acheron's lap. Dried tears were crusted around the edges of her eyes, but she was sleeping peacefully. Acheron hand gently transferred her head to a soft pillow on the adjacent love seat and covered her with a blanket depicting a chinese dragon curling around a curved european sword.

He noticed the dried blood on her silver law-guantlets and removed the metal claws so he could wash them before it started to rust. As he left Zylvan alone, he had a feeling that the blood on the claws wasn't hers.

The rain outside pounded violently against the windows of the house.

Damon watched the girl,not five feet away from her.The mist he created in side the room hid him,so if anyone was to come in,they shouldn't be able to see him.

"I'm sorry,"He whispered,before smiling without humor.He sat on the lone chair in the room,watching her intently. 

Zylvan muttered something in her sleep. But it was just a bunch of gibberish to be honest. Rolling over the best she could on the couch, her back faced the vampire as she buried her head against the pillow and the back of the couch.

Damon smirked,a chuckle pa.ssing through his lips.

"So you talk in your sleep..."He pondered,cupping his chin in his hand
