Raf stared blankly at the board, already bored with the teacher who was rambling. he faintly heard a crash in a nearby cla.ssroom and wondered which clumsy idiot was making such a ruckus this early.

Iris started doodling on a peice of paper.

Selene walked out of homeroom, blowing hair out of her face. her teacher had spent and hour or so reciting some boring speech about the school and all that, then moved on to arithmatic. While her teacher was talking she had drawn a killer cookie, a herd of cows, and the guy who was sitting next to her. What was his name again? Eddie? She didn't have the best memory. The teacher had just called a break, thank god. Naturally, she slammed into a guy and sent papers flying. (Raf or Iris? xDDD Fail.)

(well i love being literate, one-liners just don't give me the .... what to call it.... bubbly satisfaction that I want :3 lol, this is the second time Selene has run into Raf XD also, I think it was Raf that was sitting next to her anyways)

Just as Raf was gettng out of his seat to go to break after a veeery long orientation speech, he was run into by someone. He looked at the girl, saying, "Oh damn, you okay? here, let me help..." he bent down to pick up some of the papers.

Iris sighed in relief as the bell finally rang and she was able to leave the cla.ssroom. Once she made it out the door, though, she was at a loss as to what to do next. She had seen some tables outside and decided on those. The halls were yet again full of people, but they were all headed in the same general direction so it was easy to just go with the flow.  

((xDDD Meh, I just like one-lining when I'm tired of being literate.

Selene sighed as she collected her papers with the guy she bumped into. You'd think she was used to this right now, but she wasn't. When she was done, she said thanks to him and walked off towards her locker, noticing for the first time that she left it wide open. It didn't seem tampered with, so she breathed a sigh of relief and shoved her papers into it and took out her wallet. Selene was getting hungry, so she decided to buy some lunch.

Raf stared after the girl for a moment wondering Where have I seen her before? He shrugged it off and left the room. A group of his old friends from last year waved him down and he joined them, his ex
pression remaining impa.ssive.

Iris found a vacant table and sat down, looking around. She had made a mistake in not making a friend during homeroom, now she was alone. Depression and dismay settled in and she put her head on the wooden tabletop, a very unhappy frown on her face.

Selene had bought a sandwhich and was searching for a vacant table nearby. She was about to sit down when she found a loner sitting alone at a table. She felt a little sorry for her and it was not like anyone was going to sit next to her anyways, so she walked over to the other girl's table and offered her half of her sandwhich.
