I ought to scan in a picture I drew of Ces in her kentracha form. :3 It's only the head, but it should be enough. The vampire's breathing became shallower, and, very gently, Ces lowered him, being impossibly careful not to bite him. As soon as he met the dusty ground, he closed his eyes tightly. Ces backed away a step or two, then sat down, her neck hunched slightly. Killing as an animal always seemed unpleasant to her, feeling and practically tasting the blood of her prey as their pulses quickened inside their veins, their seemingly-fragile bodies trembling with fear. Before, it hadn't mattered much, and before Ces had met Shade, been captured by Shinra, it was hunting alone that had kept her alive. Killing had been normal, life-saving, acceptable. Now it seemed much less appealing than before. As the venom gradually drained from the vampire, and his wounds began to heal once again, he looked over at Ces expectantly. But instead of doing as he had expected, she slowly approached him, feeling a sudden urge to look after him, a kind of overwhelming protectiveness. She lowered her head and lightly toughed his chest, his beating heart, and his hands crawled up towards the small, twisting horns and feather-like 'hair' at the back of her skull, as if at a silent signal from him. There, he gripped on, and the kentracha gently lifted him to his feet, with a grimace of pain from the vampire. Once standing, he swayed sightly, but regained his balance. He smiled thankfully at Ces, but she had already turned away, her head hung in despair. She padded away, her large, reptilian claws sending up small wisps of dust. Unlike before, her tail was being dragged over the ground, all heart for keeping it aloft completely burned away.

OoC: Well, I kinda say them after cause I don't know you were going to post it xD I feel I dont have to say anything untill you need to know it xD hurhurhur It be why Maya and Ash's eyes change colour. Also Vampires who are named after trees are the strongest, named after animals are strong but named after plants they tend to be the weaker of the vampires but still much stronger than Humans. BiC: Almost there now, The voice told Shade. Just keep relaxing. The Voice was soothing, Shade could no longer feel her physical body, she was no longer aware of what was going on around her, she was also unaware that Vash was dead. If she knew, Shade wouldn't be relaxed. The Voice had decided not to tell her, for once Shade was alert he could no longer controll her body and he would no longer be able to try do something to help Vash. Shade's physical body had reached the Tardis, although her mind and concience were many miles away, in a world of her own at the very corners of her mind. Shade was there somewhere in the darkness of her mind, completely relaxed, while the voice was in controll of her physical body. The Voice could feel all the pain that Shade would be feeling if she was carrying Vash, which she was yet was not both at the same time. The voice seemed to hiss at the pain, slowly it dissapeared. Holding Vash up with one arm and opening the Tardis door with the other, the voice managed to get Vash into the Tardis. Wiping away Vash's tear and some of his blood, the voice stepped out of the Tardis. Right, this could happen quicly and might confuse you for a while, but trust me for a moment okay? I trust you. Thought Shade, still un aware of Vash's death. Okay, well you're going to get your physical body back, all I need you to do is concentrate on what you last saw and let me relax. Shade inhaled deeply, pictures of the panther leaping on Maya, all the blood that had spilt accross the floor and then the sound of Maya's hiss. Suddenly Shade saw a bright flash of white light. Shade exhaled quickly, then gasped like a fish out of water. Calm down Kitty-cat. It's okay.Now just calm down. Shade instantly calmed as she hear the Voice again. Mind if I call you dragonfly? Why not? thought Shade. Okay then Dragonfly, see that Panther over there attacking Maya? Her name is Raksha Keller. She is one of the agents from circle daybreak, she would be willing to give her life for you, only because she thinks you are Lupe. Here we go again with this Lupe thing, Shade sighed. No worried Dragonfly, I know the truth, you are not Lupe. Lupe is still alive but hidden. Maya also thinks you are Lupe, Ash's soulmate, that is why she has killed you twelve times before. Because she has chosen Ash for herself. That's not fair if I'm not Lupe, Shade was slightly angered by this, the though suddenly came out loud in some hiss. "That's not fair, Ash wants Lupe everyone has the freedom to chose" Shade hissed, only now realising she was saying her thought out loud. Clam down Dragonfly. Anger can sometimes blind. So I have a plan to be rid of Maya. The Voice was calm and level, no sound of any anger, neither was it raised as a demand. Shade stopped and listened. Vampires, oncew they die can not be reincarnated like humans, as they have no real souls. Shade's eyes widened. You want me to kill Maya? Shade's eyes widened further, she had found some telekinetic voice. You found it then Dragonfly. The Voice seemed to have a hint of humour in it. And, you're not going to kill Maya. Keller there is going to kill her for you. "No" Said Shade aloud shaking her head and frowning "No one is killing for me" Shade looked up and noticed some of the Vampiers and Werewolves giving her strange looks. That was when the Vampire that had hit Ces, and knocked Shade down twice already appeared infront of her. Now Dragonfly, be careful and do exactly as I tell you. Shade did trust the voice, but she frowned. She wasn't going to listen to him if he told her to kill. I can hear your thoughts you know, you can't hide anything from em Dragonfly. No worries, you're not killing this one. For some reason, the way the voice had said she was not killing this one worried Shade, worried her that the voice was going to make her kill someone else. Now, to ther left, quickly Dragonfly. Shade dived to the left, the Vampires hand just brushing against her arm as he had lunged foward.

OOC: Oh... so, Oak would be srsly tough, Flea would would be weaker but still pretty strong, and Nettle would be the weakest? :D Hur hur. I'sa given Berello a song :3. The ending's too... different, from the song itself? It sounds quite sad and calm. The song comes on the credits of the third film, and I don't suppose I like endings that end here, and now, where the characters might never see each other again... But it seems to have hope in it, and at least Aragorn and Arwen stayed together. c: Ces' attention switched to Shade, her eyes widening with alarm as she spotted the vampire lunge for Shade. She wanted to go over and help, save Shade, but she felt almost afraid. Afraid of her own strength, and the things she might do that will cause her to regret. Now, more than ever, did the need to resist killing seem to magnify. Now that Vash was dead, she felt as though it would be unforgivable if she took the life of another. Despite vampires being able to heal themselves, Ces felt as though there was a darker power in the kentracha form, something she hadn't yet discovered, and it scared her, for some reason. Her new body felt alien and unfamiliar, a labyrinth of secrets and deadly new abilities. Torn between two entirely different instincts, she heard the Spectre's voice, so soft and gentle it seemed to be the speech of another being. Why are you so nervous, Ces? She felt choked, almost tearful. For the first time in my life, said Ces. I don't feel right. I defy myself. I hate this new form, and what I did just now... There was a pause. Don't hate yourself just because Vash died, the Spectre replied, and Ces felt an odd, wonderfully soothing warmth caress her mind. I know how it is, to lose a close friend. Don't feel as though this feeling is alien, Ces. Remember Tikataque? You howled your grief for her so hard your throat was sore for another four days. The feeling intensified. Don't give into bitter pain. You have lived for one hundred and one years fighting it. Vash would dislike it if you became despairing and unhappy for the rest of your life. Ces frowned, half in confusion for what she should do, half in bewilerment over the Spectre. Only when Tikataque had died had her Soul-Animal been so warm, so understanding. Another tear slid down her face, and she dipped her head with closed eyes, feeling torn. But then, a few moments afterward, a new voice made her open her eyes, one she thought had died out with the rest of her race. A male voice, and one the Spectre didn't even acknowledge when she heard it, as though the stranger was perfectly welcome in Ces' mind. One Ces should greet, as well. And so would I, Yamaka. it said.

OoC: xDD Power-hair-flair. That made me lol. x3 But still. It was a really bad sort of funky. :C My friend Caitlyn actually iggled and said he looked funny, and I'm guessing it was because of the hair.. Now it's much better, though; I looked through chapter thirty-eight, last night, since it shows Knives quite a bit, and got a better idea as to what it looks like. And then today I managed to get it right. :D *hugs her drawing* Knives-sama~

Omg.. o3o The front page of this month's Nintendo Power has a picture with a guy that really reminds me of Vashers. He even has slightly slanted eyes, like how Mister Nightow draws them, and a revolver and Western-ish coat. :o ... Dude. It's Phantasy Star. :D *skims the article* Ah. How witty NP can be. xD Geh. I shalls skip some time, so I doesn't have to wait to have him get there. 83 *skippity skip skip.. frolic!* As Knives stopped at the town's entrance, he cast a swift glance over the area. And this brought a small frown upon his face, looking about at the chaos that had surged forth while he'd been walking away from it. It nearly appeared as though a miniature war had broken out, within that short time - hours, at most. Perhaps there truly had. While extended quarrels amongst humans didn't seem uncommon, at all, this was simply.. madness. (Or Sparta. xD) But the most conspicuous creature, towering above the mixed throng, was the kentracha - Ces, he inferred, as nothing of the sort dwelt here, and there was only one, which indicated that it wasn't likely to be part of some shape-shifter force. No other familiar forms stood against the crowd, though. So the Plant walked calmly toward her, his face now perfectly expressionless, as it so often appeared to be. He showed no acknowledgement to anyone else there. And, somehow, he went without being attacked, as he did so. Upon reaching the Haran's side, Knives tipped his head slightly, as he looked up at her. She seemed to be lost in thought, simply standing there, with a frown tugging persistently at her snout. Yet the kentracha also appeared rather surprised, as though something had just happened that she would never have expected. But he waited quietly, simply standing there, waiting for Ces to notice him. Despite the chaos here, there really was no hurry, right? He simply needed to find out what happened - perhaps who'd been the one to kill his brother.

I might go and check it out, later. :3 xD I did that, once - just want to stare at a drawing of yours. x3 Gawd, I really should upload Ces as a kentracha... but it only shows her head. I decided to adjust the kentracha, so now it's got four legs, rather than two forearms, and it's slightly Komodo-dragon-y. But not so bulky and clumsy. xDD And her legs don't swing right around in front of her when she walks... x33 Hur hur. I gots a luverly amount of LotR-named Meikos. xDD I've even started on the books now. Since when did I become such a LotR fan...? Anywayz, I'm still glad. xDD You're siggy's a-amazing, Yoshi. Made me lol. x3 And what it is with the bigger sized font thing?!! >8O *eats the Postehs* Ces frowned harder. Who's that? she demanded to the Spectre, sounding more angry than cautious, as though it were the Soul-Animal's fault. But the gentle, warm caressing in her mind disappeared as suddenly as it had started, and Ces felt an odd coldness inside her, even though the blazing sun in the Gunsmoke sky was hot. Doesn't matter, replied the Soul-Animal. Ces then felt a small tugging feeling at the side of her head, as though the Spectre were pestering her to turn her point of view, which was now less focused and slightly blurry as a kentracha. But her sense of smell and hearing had improved greatly, and then she realized that there was another being standing beside her. Turning to face the newcomer, Ces didn't do so much as flinch when she recognized Knives. Before, as he had left them, she would feel both annoyed and almost relieved at his unexpected appearance. But, as Vash was now dead (and the chances of his twin returning to find out how being quite high), Ces' emotions felt distant, uneeded, for the only ones that remained was despair and regret. She just stared at the Plant with her pale, sad eyes, before finally speaking. "You're back, then," she said quietly. Her voice sounded small and distant, as though she were only half-thinking about her own words.

I've done it a few times before, I think. Usually for drawings that turned out a lot better than I'd thought they would, or in which I'd pulled off something I'd really never managed, before. Like my first relatively decent drawing of Vashers. Cx Lard. I'm ridiculous, aren't I? xD
Eh. My drawings usually only show the subject's head and some lower parts, depending on what it is. :3 It's really annoying me, though, how I can only do a few rather limited views with humanoid figures, and their anatomy is relatively difficult for me... It takes forever to get it right, and I can't do any of those spiffy sorts of angles that are very far above or below the face. :C But yesh. You should upload her. :D

But I can't really think of much more. x3 Ohs, and that would be suns, ye silleh Wolfeh. ;P

She paused, allowing the information to sink in, her voice becoming softer and almost gentle. "Maya, a vampire, was attempting to kill her. Vash got involved, and he... he..." She looked away, her voice drifting off. By the way her head was tilted, she was clearly trying to keep the Plant out of her line of sight, as though not daring to meet his eyes. Explaining it to Vash's brother seemed more painful than she'd expected, and her chest suddenly felt much tighter.

Yeh. I rarely draw people, and it usually takes quite a bit of effort to get them to look right. Whereas, with animals, I can get them right pretty easily. x3 I s'pose it's probably because I only really started attempting human-like figures, at all, a couple years ago. Again, because of Vash. xD Though that drawing was really, really, really fail. I mutilated 'im. >3>

Shade landing on her arm, the Vampire landing on his head. The Vampires neck clicked as the bone snapped. The Vampire hissed then stood on his feet. Move dragonfly move! The Voice commanded Shade. Shade rolled to the left and the vampire tried to grab for her ancle. And again Dragonfly. Jump up then move backward. Shade did as she was told, leaping to her feet Shade moved backward, bumping into someone, or something. Keller growled as Shade walked into her, then realising it was Shade Keller released Maya, swift movements allowed her to do many things at once. Kicking Maya in the rips, using her as some sort of trampoline, Keller leapt over Shade then hit the Vampire, knocking him to the ground. His neck had healed and there was little blood. Keller stared into his eyes for a moment that recodnised him. The Vampire was known as Hunter, Hunter Redfern, a relative of Ash. Not just a relative, his own great great grandfather. he was one of the strongest and darkest of the Night People. Instincts and fear taking over, Keller sank her canines into Hunter's throat then as more fear of him being able to do the same as Maya with the black power washed over Keller, she ripped out the windpipe in Hunter's throat. This had an effect much like ripping his head off. Once the windpipe was out, the blood continued to flow and with the missing piece in kellers mouth Hunter's body was un-able to heal its self. Slowly, blood spilling everywhere, Hunter stopped breathing, he grinned then his eyes shut. Keller stepped back looking down at Hunter. It was already happening. Hunter's body was loosing all moisture as it began to curl into a ball. Hunter's skin tightened around his bones turning yellow with a leathery texture. Maya suddenly, fully healed, leapt up off the ground. Eyeing Shade she lunged for her throat. Dragonfly! look out! The voice yelled in some panik, he hadn't noticed Maya there. Not being told to move Shade just turned around, Maya was seemingly flying through the air twoard her. Shade semed to yelp as she lifted her arms to cover her face with her arms. Shade stood there waiting for the moment of impact. It never came. Shade looked above her arms to see what was happening. Maya had an outstretched arm her fingers spread ready to take hold os Shade's arms. That was when they snapped off. Maya's fingers broke from her hand. Maya's eyes widened and her pupils grew smaller. Then her left leg also snapped off. Maya fell to the ground just inches before Shade. Did I do that? Shade asked the voice in her head. No, no you didn't. The Voice replied seeming calm and emotionless. Was it you? Shade began to have a strange suspition that the voice was more than a voice. No. I can't do things like that. But Dragonfly, look out for pink hair. Shade was confused, Pink hair> No one has pink hair. Then Shade spotted a figure standing about two meters away from Maya, who was hissing in pain honling onto her wrist. The figure walked foward. It was a girl, she had pink hair, flowing past her waist. Her only visable eye , as the pther was hidden by her hair, was some deeper shade of pink. "Dose it hurt?" The girl asked Maya, her voice low and harsh. "Is it like the pain you caused to everyone here?" Maya siad nothing, she just glared at the girl. "I'll show you pain" She hissed trying to get up. Maya looked at the girl, just making out her sly grin. Then Maya's right leg tore slowly from her body. Maya yowled and hissed. "I'll correct you." Said the girl her voice seemed calm, which only added to the fear. "I'll show you pain. That was only minor pain, if I wish, you could of died at least six times by now" The girls , visable, eye narrowed and the pupil grew smaller. That was when five arms , almost transparent, flew from her back. Two of them held Maya's left arm on the ground, the other two her right arm. The fifth arm melted into Maya's head. "I could kill you right now, it's as simple as moving one of your arteries."(that how you spell it? o.o) "Those arms," Maya chocked. "It's as if they are made of air" "Yes." The girl said simply "Swift as air, air is touch. Touch is death" Moving the strange fifth arm, The girl manged to snap one of the blood vesseles in Maya's head. Blood poured from Maya's eyes and it ran from her mouth. The girl watched seemingly content. As she observed Maya from the corner of her eye, she noticed Maya was trying to speak. Turning her head so that she faced Maya, the girl grinned. "I'll end your pain for you. It won't take long and I'm sure you'll be greatful" Looking at Maya's neck the girl made the arms melt back into her body. "Goodbye." said the girl as Maya's head shot from her shoulders landing a few meters away.

OOC: Perhaps... Depends why they wanted to kill humans in the first place. If one of the characters here came from a race that was just as bad as humanity, then they might not be so safe after all... But I knows nothing about Elfin-Lied. :3 Except that it's disgustingly gory. Ces' head snapppd to see the others, only to see Maya's head be decapitated (sp?). Her mouth fell open at the vampire's legless, headless state, and a sickened lump formed in her throat - suddenly the mass of blood didn't look as appealing. A normal kentracha would be positively delighted at the gruesome sight, not only because of the free food, but kentrachas were famous for also having a love for anything dead and, to some creatures, simply inedible. Too disgusting to even approach. She stood up suddenly, giving a small, frightened hiss of alarm, and found herself stepping defensively (or just very frightened? she found herself asking silently) behind Knives, so that he had a kind of barrier behind him made up of a large, four-legged dragon-snake. Ces' eyes fixed on the pink-haired girl and Shade, then she looked down at the Plant, suddenly feeling slightly embarrased. He didn't need a bodyguard, he could take cae of himself. But he's Vash's brother, she thought silently. So, instead of acting like some guard dog, she edged away from him slowly, crouching down in a kind og creeping stalk towards Shade, her eyes fixed on the pink-haired girl. Whatever happened, this stranger couldn't be good. She had just thoughtlessly slaughtered Maya, she could do the same to Shade. Ces felt frightened - very, very frightened - but eerily relaxed, at the same time. Another kentracha trait - they barely ever felt fear, prefering to deal with threats head on rather than cower away. They were on top of the food chain, and would eat anything they found, being a herbivorous creature or a predator itself. Oddly enough, however, they had a strange liking for cats. And not in the food way.

OoC: Yeh. I's been having to clean my old room out some more. >3> It's still quite a bit of a mess, with all that old stuff I'd never wanted to get rid of, but it's getting gradually better.
And yesterday, I got Rickroll'd by the radio. xD I heard that opening and nearly burst into iggles. Surprised I managed to keep it in.

Elfen Lied? :D Aye, Elfen Lied is quite full of win, as well. Despite its rather.. adult themes, it was vurreh spiffy. Had me crying my face off, on the last episode, though. ;3; I had actually wanted to introduce Lucy, myself, when I first watched it. But I didn't; I don't know her character well enough. :3
Maybe if I read that manga, too...

And in no way did he sound as one would expect a person to sound after having seen something so violent. His voice held no fear, no shock. "And.. I take it that that was Maya? She was attempting to attack your friend." His head tipped slightly, and he frowned. "Looks like I don't get to have any fun with her, now. And I'd been so looking forward to it. If she feels bold enough to kill Vash.." A sigh, and he glanced back at Ces. "Where is he now?" the Plant asked, his voice becoming somber and flat again. OoC: :C Short-ish posteh again.

OoC: Late posteh. x3 Wells. The Diclonians originated from Lucy, in quite a similar way of how, here, the Vampires originated from Maya. Though she can't actually reproduce in a normal sort of way. The only way she has to do so is to touch humans with her vectors, thus contaminating them, in a way, so that any children they have are Diclonians. :3

That kind of stuff gets to me. <:( I get it... :o OK, than.... >3> Hee hee, we saw Beverly Hills Chihuahua on Saturday. xDD It's a lot better than I expected, really, it's aweosme. Extremely OTT in some parts, with a certain ridiculously hilariously godmoding scene involving an angry little white chihuahua, but other than that it was brilliant. xDD It even had a coyote and some mountain lions, which seemed to get me excited for nothing as they had very short appearances... But I enjoyed it. >:3 Ces froze, and turned to see Knives. Not having the pink-haired girl in her line of sight made her feel somewhat vulnerable, exposed, powerless. She stared at the Plant with her pale eyes. "I think he must be in the Tardis," she said quietly. "I think so, anyway..." She resumed her stalk towards Shade, until she was only a short way from her friend, still frozen in a cautious-looking crouch. "Shade!" she hissed urgently. "Come this way."

Cheese's? hurm sounds interesting... xD *wants cheese* omg xD teh cadbury chocolate advert o3o it's also full of win 8D hehe teh eyebrows x3 Hurm maybe I should now be able to name the girl as Lucy? and finaly call the arms Vectors xD I've been neglecting Ash Michi and The Doctor xD hurhur maybe I should give them some attention now... BiC: Keller looked back at this strange scene. Maya's body, lay there, looking like some old egyptian mummy. Minus her head and legs. There was blood everywhere. Much more than Keller had ever seen before. Now the blood that was seemingly still flowing from Maya joined with the blood that was still flowing from Hunter. Keller looked down at Hunter, his skin now also turning leathery and yellow, hugging his bones. Soon he was literaly just skin and bones as all his years caught up with him at once. Keller's gaze shifted from Hunter to her self. Keller looked down at her blood covered paws, her fur stained with Hunter's blood. She could feel the blood drying on her face and weighing heavy on her whiskers. Shade slowly backed away from this pink haired girl. Mostly because the voice was hissing at her telling her to back away and she managed to just about hear Ces' voice calling her. If the voice wasn't there Shade would of probably steped twoard the girl. Just before reaching Ces, the girl reached out with these strange arms. One held onto Shade's arm. Shade froze. Another of these strange arms reached out and took hold of Shade's other arm. Stay calm Dragonfly. The Voice told her. She's going to kill me, isn't she? Shade asked the voice. The voice never replied, as if it had dissapeared. Not hearing a reply worried Shade. The angels were right. She was going to die. Just incase the voice hadn't heard her Shade called out again. Am I going to die now? Is she going to kill me? Yet again the voice didn't reply. Michi was standing in the middle of a circle, a circle of Vampires. They had been angered by the fact that she had killed one of them, slowly they advanced on her. Silently stalking foward ready to strike at any given moment. Ash suddenly appeared by her side, he just appeared from no-where. As if materialising (like the Tardis x3) out of the air. Ash had picked up the wooden staff from the floor, but not before removing the tea stained body from it. Using all his strength he snapped the staff in half, handing one half to Michi the two readied for when the Vampires attacked. Just before the Vampires moved in, Ash saw a flash of red shoes in the corner of his eye. A pair of red converse to be more precise. Ash recodnised them as The Doctor's shoes. A small grin crept accross Ash's face. Now what is he up to... Ash told himself. OoC: lol had to edit, I posted a minute after you Wolfeh xD

Ces' eyes widened with horror as she saw one of the strange, almost transparent arms reach out for Shade, grabbing her friend by either arm. Damnit! she thought, panic causing her chest to tighten horribly. Shade, please don't die, don't die... The kentracha edged forwards slightly evermore, although it oly seemed to be a centimeter or two, her mouth half-open. "Shade..." she whispered. "Don't move..." Helplessly lost, Ces could only wait, transfixed, frozen in place by something as simple as two long, airlike arms holding her closest friend in place, as paralized as she. Except, it wasn't as simple as that. It never seemed to be, really. OOC: Gots to go and watch X-Men 3, naw.... :D |
