OoC Hrm. It's just a stocks guide, but... Bah. I really wonder what the heck is up with that. I've even mentioned it to staff, when the issue of age restrictions came up on the Shoutbox(apparently, someone else was having the same problem). D: Well. Hopefully Version Two will fix that; apparently, everyone's supposed to 'reregister,' anyway. Not really having to register again, but simply entering one's birthday to validate that the account is still active.

OoC: you cannut leave teh docture behind D8 *argues with brain and threatans with RAP* BiC: "Follow the bugs" Said the Doctor grinning. "I remember when there were these giant wasps chasing Donna and me" The Doctor sighed "Ah, good times" The Doctor stared at the mosquitos as they buzzed around wanting the three to follow them. "Well let's not waste time" The Doctor turned on his heel and began to walk backwards, his coat tails now wrapped around him, two short cyliner-shaped objects knocked together and against the Doctor. He knew he was going to use them sometime, but when he did not know. (bah has to go, finish posteh later ) OoC: yays I cans finish posteh nao :D BiC: Lucy stepped foward, she was no standing beside Ash. Maya glared at her, Lucy ignored the vampire she wasn't to keen on fighting that vampiress again she felt it would be a waste of time. Shade seemed to be ignoring all of the glaring going on, instead she backed away to look over the cliff's edge. Why hadn't Ces gained a new form already? It didn't narmaly take this long, cesides there probably wasn't long before she would hit the ground. Shade leaned over the edge trying to get any sight of Ces. Maya noticed Shade leaning over she noticed withough even seeing Shade move, Maya loved the fact that being a vampire and a witch had given her so many strange abilities. Maya moved quickly, so quickly that no one even saw her move. It was like light speed movement, any powerful vampire could do this but only for a shot time to travel short distances. Maya was now standing right behind Shade. Shade turned feeling Maya's presance. Maya grinned before pushing the tip of Shade's nose. Shade sneezed before falling backwards. Maya laughed at Shade's shocked and horrified, more terrified, look on her face. "No!" Ash yelled rushing over to the edge of the cliff, watching as Shade fell, Possibly to her death. "Now you don't have her to chose from. There's only me now" Maya told Ash, a smug grin on her face. "Soon he won't have you to chose." Lucy told Maya, her voice emotionless. The four vectors shot from Lucy, all reached out twoard Maya. The vectors hit Maya's chest pushing her backwards, now Maya was falling, possibly to her death but Ash knew that just falling wasn't going to kill her, it might make her deformed but she would soon heal and have that supernatural yet frightful once more.

Remember, the episode The Unicorn and the Wasp, whereas Donna says "spiffing"? Gah. Can't post. Need HappyBuns to reply.

OOC: Bwah, calm down, ye wabbit - I've only just had a chance to get on mah computer. x3 We arrived home from the exam around... quarter past four, but I decided to play Souly instead of check the Forums first. Then the disc said t'was unreadable so I turned it off even though I knew I could carry on playing but I couldn't be bothered so I fed teh dogs and played with Mossy outside for a bit then I helped clear up a tad and then I went upstairs... here... o.O Jeez. I did a lot in just about two hours. xD Oh, and the exam went good. 83 A few false notes, but, oddly enough, I wasn't scared in the least. For the first time in history, I didn't feel nervous playing in front of someone other than my teacher. And I even had to sing a bit - bah, I'm tone-deaf. D; But I hope that I've passed. ^^ My arppeggios were, apparently, legendary for the first time. 8D The warm feeling began to intensify until it was hot, then very, and then into a burning, frying sensation. At the same time, however, a biting, stining cold bit at her hands, her skin, her face. She felt like she was being cooked whilst in the Arctic, or something ridiculous like that. And still the bird fell towards her. Ces felt utterly powerless in its presence, and she cried out - both in pain from the terrible feeling her body was experiencing, and in fear of the great eagle, with cruelly sharp talons stretching out towards her. But her cry wasn't the scream of a human. It echoed out into a long, mournful eagle cry that seemed to rip through the air of Gunsmoke and streak across the blue sky for miles around. Suddenly, her back-arched, limp position didn't feel so comfortable. It didn't feel right, it didn't seem to suit her, it felt uncomfortable, wrong. And then the bird that had been targeting her hammered fully-forced into the Haran. This sensation, along with the strange burning-freezing feeling, was new altogether. As the eagle fell into her, Ces felt as though the universe's very essence had found its way to her. So much knowledge, so much power, was concentrated in the eagle's attack, driving everything she knew to be away from her mind. Nothing mattered anymore, except for everything the eagle gave to her - not just a Form, but knowledge, too, things Ces had never felt nor heard of... a strange feeling of strength, immortality, indestructibility, as though she herself had become a Soul-Animal.
She was still falling, but it felt natural. She sky was no longer red marked with white planets, but blue sketched with white clouds. And, a short way ahead of her, the foot of the cliff, looming evermore frightening.
But although a biting terror had seized Ces' mind, she felt eerily relaxed - happy, even. As though this fall was completely normal. And then she realized why she felt so at home with falling hundreds of meters per hour directly towards the flat surface of the ground so comforting. She was eagle-formed alright - but something felt disturbingly wrong. Very wrong. She felt far too big. With another cry that startled even herself, Ces swooped gracefully away from the ground and upwards, straight into the glare of the sun - but her eyes were closed in a blissful ex pression. She beat her wings - which felt unusually heavy but also incredibly sleek - with slow, dreamy movements of her limbs, adoring the way she soared upwards with effortless ease. Her tail, which was broad but firm, reacted so nicely against the wind that tore in her direction as she flew, she felt as though she was in complete control of everything she did, and could do - she felt undefeatable. And then the resbonsiblity of Shade tumbled back down on her like an avalanche and her heart seemed to plummet several hundred miles.

OoC: Sawry, Nias. Yoshi was sooper tired yesterday, and just decided to take a nap when she got home. Kept nearly falling asleep in class. D: Spring break.. I'll miss you, friend. D; Har. I has become addicted to a new song. [link] ♥ Even Flashers said it was awesome, despite her usual dislike of solely instrumental songs. c: Nao... If only I could figure out how to get The Last Snow Leopard onto my computer. I can hardly find it anywhere, and most places at which I can actually listen to it limit on how many times I play it for free. :c ... Lawl. Yoshimitsu(and now Yoink. xD)? x3 Ohyahs. Yoshilisk has decided to draw herself.. with her tongue wrapped about a tiny pair of 'passengers'. Pretty much just need to fix up her anatomy a bit, darken a few lines, and colour them. :D Knives simply gave a small nod in response and continued onward, following the mosquitoes as they buzzed about erratically, moving around each other as though in a chaotic dance. Yet the Plant seemed uninterested in them, instead staring into the sky ahead of him. Why was he helping these.. people? He'd no business with them, and could very well be off on more useful errands, such as finding the rest of the Guns and continuing his vendetta against the Human race. The wordless murmur of another Plant, before having been merged with a number of others' 'voices' which all melted into a light drone, spoke out in his mind then. It seemed to have been listening on Knives' thoughts and emotion, and gave him a gentle nudge. He understood this as its way of encouraging him to stay with Vash, to continue helping him and his recently found friends. Knives replied only with a small frown, and the Plant's mind gradually moved away again. Vash, who followed closely behind Knives, forced by his physical blindness to depend on his brother more than he had in decades, observed this brief exchange in part, though he attempted not to go so far as to seem an eavesdropper. (Though eavesdropping is a thing almost questionable to exist among those who remain in constant link with each other, no matter how far apart. Especially as all but two lack the ability of literal speech.) A slight tilt of the head, and Vash pushed it aside, to again ask if they could go a bit more quickly. But he stopped as a piercing shriek reached them, carrying over the sands with ease and seeming to startle their insect guides. Instantly an anxious fear gripped him, but it took him a moment to realise why. Ces. He wasn't entirely sure how, but he knew it was Ces. Perhaps it was, in part, that no bird here had such a cry, both a drifting lament and a fierce shrill. But Vash took little time in pondering it; if Ces had gained a new form, it was almost unquestionable that she was in some sort of danger. And, much as he hated the thought of Ces endangered(even if the Spectre could resurrect her; since he'd killed her, himself, he felt a sort of protective impulse for the Haran, and would have blamed himself, were anything to befall her again), Shade was likely in even more trouble, with Maya still on her tail. With little thought as to his lack of sight, the Plant leapt forward, leaving Knives, who made no attempt to stop him, the Doctor, and Zazie's mosquitoes behind, embracing that speed which he usually left untouched. Luckily for him, the desert was largely void of anything into which he could run, and he had trained himself to be able to detect his surroundings with eyes closed, to an extent. But his luck in avoiding obstacles managed to run out as he neared the cliff, as a rather large rock lay right in his path. He ran right into it, flipping over it with a startled shout and skidding across the rock, right to the edge of the cliff, where he found his chin hanging over empty space. "Owowow..."

OoC: hurhur complaining makes peeps posteh >83 *starts to complain to herself* And darned HeitchBee is going to be harder to bean than I first though. Two beans and she's gone from natural to cream to seipia D: Cause I fail like that... Yesh Yoshimitsu 8D He's strange guy on soul Calibur goes around shouting Na-mu! 83 and Bunny leiks cookies and does tend to say yoink when she steals them from her sisters plate o3o Yoshilisk: you be listening to that while I listen to... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPEWkZ54Fx4 I less-than-three this song x3 BiC: The Doctor - who had been following Knives and Vash- strode over twoard Ash and Lucy, both were looking over the cliff edge. The Doctor poked Ash's shoulder. Ash turned, his face wore a frown -which was pretty much normal for him-, this didn't worry the Doctor. What worried him was the sadness in Ash's eyes. "What do you want?" Ash demanded, getting up from his knees. "Where is Shade, and Ces" The Doctor hessitated "And Maya?" He finaly added. Ash didn't reply, he meerly suggested twoard the edge of the cliff. The Doctor frowned, though he wasn't saddened, he knew of the Haran race so he knew the Ces would gain a form to save herself, which he though she had form hearing the cry that had ripped through the air. The only thing that worried him now was if she had seen Shade and cought her. ~~~ Shade had been falling, to her, for what seemed like forever. She was tumbling through the air. That was when the though occured to her, Sticking your claws into the cliff face could slow down your decent. Then Shade wondered if it was realy her who had though of that. It's not you it's me. That voice, it had come back. Actualy, Dragonfly, I've never left you. Shade frowned whilst still falling. Well what are you waiting for, stick those claws of yours into the cliff's face. Shade hessitated for a moment, wondering whether she should realy listen to this voice, the voice which called its self Angel. Of course you should listen to me! Angel exclaimed. Do you want to live or not? That was a good question, Shade though. She finaly shook her head, clenching her fists the long metalic claws appeared. Quickly Shade reached for the cliff face, the skin was ripped from the tips of her fingers, Shade realised she was falling quicker than she had thought. Don't do that! You'll hurt yourself, just stick your claws in!. Shade listened, even though she didn't want to, with one strike Shade's claws had penetrated the cliff face. Shade's claws moved slightly, cutting through Shade's flesh and breaking some of the bones in her hand. Shade flinched, but soon she was used to the pain. Shade then had some strange urge to look around. To her left she saw Maya, falling with a ghostly elegance. Shade guessed it was a vampire thing. "Stupid Cat" Maya hissed as she fell past Shade. Maya's picture of Shade's terrified face was now replaced by Shade's grinning face. Maya realised that she had been defeated, she frowned, a vampire knew when he or she was defeated but not even that would stop her from trying again once her body had healed. Maya knew she was going to survive this fall and was determined to complete her goal. Shade was (what Maya knew to be) the thirteenth reincarnation of Lupe, killing her would result in no omre being able to be re-born, meaning she would have Ash for herself for the rest of eternity. Maya laughed to herself "See you nex time" Maya whispered, in full knowledge that Shade wouldn't hear her. Shade looked to her right, her eyes instantly widened. There flying upwards was something like a giant eagle. And when Shade though giant, she meant it. "Jebus!" Shade exclaimed, using her free hand she waved twoard the bird, knowing that it was most probably Ces. Now Shade only hoped that Ces being a giant bird would notice her.

OOC: No, natw complaining - I just wanted to reply with my spiffy postage. 8D *< not troo* Aw, well - she'll end up being albino, you'll see. :3 I have so menneh pets to bean meself... SpartanH18 needs to be albino, NightGod needs to be silver, HighCharity needs to be dyed/beaned, PillarOfAutumn blonde or ginger, SallyBones probably albino (I can't decide whether I should try beaning her or not - nattie kind of suits her. But, in Varjak Paw, she was described as being an utterly pure snow-white cat... what do you think I should do, guys? :o) and C0rtana needs to be dyed.... O.O Jeez. I'd need to be as rich as Chris or BillyBob to reach that goal... Gah. I'd better edit later. The giant eagle continued to soar on her broad wings for a while longer, the sunlight turning her feathered body a warm, golden colour. That was, until, a flash of light, similar to ignited magnesium, caught her yellow-orange eye. Turning elegantly around, Ces - finding that her eyesight was improved an impossible amount more, far greater than even her kentracha's - instantly spotted Shade's black-and-purple outline against the fawn of the cliff edge. With a small "squeak", Ces changed course and began to make her way speedily towards Shade, finding how much faster she was now. Out of all the flying forms she'd attained in her past of a hundred-and-two years, this was, by far, her most prized. Unfortunately, however, most of Ces bird forms were either very small and nimble, or they had a series of extra limbs that bore claws for climbing. Ces only had talons on her feet, and instantly realized her mistake of flying straight for the Fera. Praying that Shade would hold on, Ces collided full-forcedly against the cliff edge, almost rolling to one side as she tried to avoid swatting Shade away. Had it not been for Shade's firm claws, she was have been thrown off. Her wings flapping madly as she attempted to balance herself, Ces's thrashing feet sent hordes of rocks tumbling down the cliff's edge in a crazy struggle to get herself attached to the barren wall of the cliff. You stupid idiot! the Spectre's demanding voice echoed around Ces' mind - and she nearly let go of the rocks she had only just managed to get a hold onto. Get some kentracha claws on your wings - now! Do you want to fall off, or knock Shade off the damned cliff's edge? Shocked and a little bit hurt by the Spectre's lack of understanding, a series of long, black-taloned claws sprouted from around the pollex, and the clumsy Haran immidiately clipped on. Not bothering to reply to the Spectre's moody self, Ces sat, frozen, on the cliff, panting, a a considerable amount from Shade (although she still looked gigantic). Her bright yellow eyes were fixed on Shade, and she opened her mouth to speak - but found speech impossible. Unlike the mouth of a mammal, which could twist into an array of postures to form words, her massive beak was unmoveable. She couldn't say a word. Think! the Spectre barked again, and once again, Ces jumped. A small trickle of dust and smaller stones rolled down the cliff. Just think about what you want to say to Shade. Wha-? Ces replied sheepishly. You're telepathic now! It's the gift of an eagle! The others will be able to... I'll be able to think with them? You're a slow one. Oh course! Just think towards Shade, and she'll hear you! Blinking, and obviously confused, Ces thought of a single, simple, two-letter word, which, although was a popular greeting, seemed so tiny and childish in this situation. Hi?

OoC: Lolol. Na-mu! 8D An' Shade are cute. *nodnod* *dies* I've continued reading Trigun again, and.. *iggles* I doubt the bubble is really supposed to be coming from the jacket, but it looks as though Knivesy has a jacket that says 'thump' moments before the July incident. xDDD Ah. I love that chapter. So darn much. Not only is Loss a ttly EPIC chapter, but it has crazy jackets. o: Soz. Time to try and think of something, despite that I pretty much have no reaction or interaction with which to work. xD; And the Doctor got to the cliff reeeeaaaally quickly; Vashers was practically flying to the cliff, much as he wanted to get there and help. Vash blinked and made as if to look about, though this really didn't do him any good. Uncanny as it was to feel his head hanging from a ledge, the height of which he was unsure, the Plant abruptly sat up, resulting in a hiss of pain. Skidding across several feel of rock had done a number on him, the underside of his chin having received the most of it, and having landed quite roughly in the first place only served to worsen it. Glad that his coat seemed to have absorbed most of the damage(which, in addition to the abuse it had received earlier, made him sure it must have been nearly in tatters by now), though, Vash stood shakily. Walking along the edge of the cliff, which he could vaguely discern the location of, he listened for any sorts of the sounds he imagined Ces' new form, obviously a large bird of prey, from her earlier cry, would have made. But Vash had no luck in discerning any sound of the sort; perhaps, he concluded, she and Shade were too far to physically hear. Truthfully, he'd little idea as to where they were, or even if they were together, but was relying only on that the call seemed to have come from this area. It was at this point that the Plant heard the Doctor's voice, now far behind him. That voice, the words of which he'd not quite caught, was then followed by a much closer and much more familiar one, echoing through his mind. What are you doing? Vash responded simply by stopping and casting a frowning glance behind him, whether Knives be standing there or not. It seemed that it should have been obvious what he was doing. Right. But then, yet another voice found its way into Vash's thoughts, though very faint, almost mistakable for one of the ever-present 'voices' of the many other Plants. But no. It couldn't have been; this voice stood out starkly, despite its faintness, and did come in the form of literal speech. This was just the voice for which he'd been looking. Blinking, he reached out to the Haran. Ces? OoC: Hur hur. ;D

OoC: hurhur, teh Doctur can be fast in his red converse trainers ;D Bahs me thinks I ish obsessed slightly with Slipknot D: they hash spiffy masks x3 BiC: "Ces?!" Shade exclaimed "You're telepathic!? Since when were you telepathic!?" Shade began to deamand, she was only silenced by the voice in her head yelling at her. Just shutup Dragonfly, you want to get up from this cliff and get that hand seen to. Shade though to the voice, you don't need to tell em to shutup. Yes I do. Angel replied. If I hadn't you wouldn't of shutup, now just get on your friends back, the sooner you do the less you'll hear from me. Got that Dragonfly? Shade nodded, then with her free hand she reached out for Ces. Ignore the questions. Shade told Ces, using her own telekinetic abilities. Just answer this question. HOw in the name of Hecate did you get so big?! (barf D: I cannut write anymore today!)

OOC: I luff Bunny's drawings of Shade. <3 She makes people-drawing look... so simpleh. I'm a phailbukkit when it comes to anime... and stuff. D; A jacket that thumps? >3> Sweeet. I dunnow.. I just... I dunno! Ces replied, her own "voice" coming out as the equivalent of a telepathic squeak. I mean, gaining this new one... was... different. It was like I... or, nevermind. Frowning slightly, she clenched her beak tightly, as if considering its true strength. Talking is impossible with this mouth. I suppose that communicating mentally is... a... bonus? But the Spectre said it's safe, so I suppose I'm alright. As for the size... The eagle's eyes narrowed slyly, and the beak-less ends of her mouth twisted in what looked like a smug smile. This is the biggest thing I've ever acheived. It's so much stronger than the kentracha, but so much heavier and clumsier too... The giant bird looked downwards towards her talons and long, feathery legs. The talons, jet black in colour, were clenched deep into the cliff's side, and for a startling moment she wondered whether they could actually be removed. Shifting her feet a little (and in the process, flapping her wings as to keep her balance but sending icy gusts of wind straight towards Shade), the Haran found that removing them was possible (if not exceedingly difficult), but now, after having such a hassle trying to get herself on the wall in the first place, was most certainly not the time to start dislodging herself. Anyway, Shade had to be rescued. Now looking more uncomfortable than ever, Ces shot Shade a desperate glance. Start making your way towards me, she told the Fera. and take your time! I can't come to you, or the whole cliff will come with me. Digging her thankfully-smaller kentracha talons into the rocks, Ces caught a faint - but disturbingly familiar - waft on the air. Being quite high up, the "breezes" were very strong, and carried so many scents, but this new smell was unmistakeable and it made her heart soar with uncontrolable pleasure - yet, at the same time, Ces wondered, sink with a little fear. And although her eagle-senses weren't as good as her wolf's, her eyes still widened at the realization of who the scent belonged to. The scent of someone of whom she had believed to be dead, and had known perfectly well, as she had cried on his own lifeless body. Could Plants, as well as Harans, really be resurrected once dead?

OoC: As fast as a Plant? xD Aye. Yoshi can do some with humanoids, but she's very limited. Nias seems to be gewd with them. Makes Yoshi jelly-ous. o: And yus. xD It makes meh iggle. Too bad that jacket was destroyed by Vash's 'splodey; it was pretty darn spiffy, even without regarding its spiffical 'thump'-saying abilities. :o *facepalm* I'm such an idiot. xD Looking back at our original thread(I was looking for a reference to something, but I've forgotten what it was. o:), I see that you did mention how to pronounce Ces. And.. I was such a Godmoder, in addition to that horrid habit of ripping bits of material from the Trigun anime. x3 Vash frowned, moving toward the cliff's edge slightly. Ces? he repeated, this time with a note of uncertainty, worried that perhaps he'd only imagined her voice. It certainly wouldn't have been the first time he'd heard such a thing, though he'd always known that Rem's voice was only a figment of memory, surviving from so very long ago. Ces had never shown any telepathic ability before, anyway. But he was certain that he'd heard her... A sigh, and he took a step back, directing his literally hollow gaze to the sky. He felt so ridiculously lost, being unable to see a thing and having next to no idea as to where he was. And his idea on the location of his friends wasn't exactly clear, either. For all he knew, they could have been thousands of iles away. Normally, that would be of no issue, but travelling so far without physical sight would be a pretty difficult task. But he shook his head, casting those thoughts aside. They had to be around here.
