OOC: Honies. Don't put yourself down like that. ;/ It doesn't bother me, really, about how this roleplay's running right now - and Hurjad's still quite unoccupied, I might scribble something down for him. I'm perfectly OK with you guise, honestly. :3 Takeses your timeses, please. And besides, yoshi - your posts are never rambly and boring. All stories need a few moments'... "peace", if you get me. The Halo and Eragon series aren't full of action and pulse-pounding parts. There are scenes were everything's "steady". A bad post is not labelled so just because of its lack of action, or length, or whatever. Subtlety is good.

OoC; This is one of the best roleplays I have ever seen. o.o XDD You guys don't even care if there hasn't been a good post in two pages. You just chat and stuffs. o3o Every other roleplay I'm in everyone is all 'Hurry up!' 'Where's milo?' 'Bump! D<' And I dunno what to do with Starlett and Caine XDD They should fall in love or something. 0.o Or one should die. Wait. Caine is already dead. ._. Ah well. And yeah, yoshi don't put yourself down. :c

OOC: To be honest, late posters don't actually bother me that much. :3 It gives me time to think ahead and mebbe plan something for the storyline. And people shouldn't really be so rude or posessive when a few people get a bit behind. Some people seem to forget that their fellow roleplayers really do have actual lives beyond the computer screen. Duuudes, c'mon. Unless you're a really creepy stalker, you don't actually know the situations of your buds. So give them room to breathe, damnit. The world's gonna end in 2012, not 2010. 8c God. Get your facts right, people. *listens to crazy music* .... Ooh my, I think I've had one Cookie Mallow Chick too many. xDD

OoC: Exactly Wolf. I have this one roleplay which is going no where, and I just want it to die. But the people that are roleplaying it with me keep bumping it and I get all hurried. I don't want to have to keep posting on it! ;.; I shouldn't have made it -shot- D;

OoC: Nyeh. Ah know.. x3 But usually even the my least eventful peacetime writing is much, much better than what I keep pulling when I try to write this post. I'm thinkin' maybe it's because, since I finally gave Woofwood some time for himself, I've started writing more with the character's voice and views than I did before. And for some reason it's proving particularly difficult to do that with Vash. o3o xD Definitely, Mouseh. I do love how much we actually talk and joke; makes it feel like we're more than just roleplaying partners, and it definitely keeps away the stress of everyone nagging each other to post. And I dunno.. Mebbe you could come up with some sort of a miniplot and take the wheel for a bit, if you like. ;o Ohyahs. I've been meaning to say this, but I kept pushing it off 'til I could get a posteh. x3 Your dream was scarily close to getting my real name. xD I actually used to use the name Tasha on pretty much any game I joined. Though, my actual name ends in an 'asia' rather than an 'asha'.. A 'stasia'. A nuh 'stasia'. Hurr.

OoC: exactly Yoshi. That's why I love coming to this roleplay. It is sort of a roleplay/off topic thread. I'm sure that's also why this thread has so many posts; probably only a bit over half of these posts are actually roleplaying. o3o And I might do that, like one of my characters having some sort of fit and throwing my other character overboard. ;o Sounds interesting. XD

OoC: Pro'ly. xD But I guess it's better than having nine thousand posts consisting of only two sentences of roleplaying, amirite? Dood. My Internets don't seem to be shutting off tonight. 8D Maybe it's gone.. and now I can go back to spending my nights thinking of posty things and actually getting stuff written. Homgyay. Posteh, here I come. |D

OOC: Well, Mouseh, why not just... kill it, and explain to your buddies why you don't want it to continue? :) Or maybe work something out so it's not so bad? One thing I've found is that I don't often care about the theme of the roleplay. It's the players that are important to me. I kinda... put them before my own ideas. Man, I sound like I'm running for a leadership of somesort. xD Dewd. Yoshi feels like a virtual cousin to me. ;o Nias, you, and Nightdragon were my top priorities on Res. My bestest buds~ *rocker hand gesture* D8 Your name's Anastasia? Fricken' hell, I adore that. 8D Dewds. I'm not on Res as much as I used to be. xD LIVE's almost always coming first now, when it comes to anything Internet-based... Now that the New One's (I really should get him a new nickname.. I feel like I'm some sort of Buddha-based prophet who meddles with the strings of fate) acting like he really wants to play with me as a friend, rather than some aquaintance... I dunno. He and his friend are my only LIVE friends that actually make an effort to play with me, and I don't think they realize just how much that means to us. <:3 Whenver I log on, and he's already playing, close to always the first thing he does is invite me to whatever session he's in - something nobody else does. I adore him~

OoC: Nuh. I kinda fell asleep before I got much written last night. xD *gets back to writing* Awe. A Yoshi with a juicebox. 8D And tha's my name. x3 ... I just got an urge to Google things involving Knives getting shot in the leg, and I found a pretty hilarious fanfic that has him rant on and on about it. xD I'm in teeears. Nyeh. I'll try to get the other doods later. I really need to go do some paper mache so this project isn't late. o3o
Knives watched with a light smile as the face of the figure in front of him went through various emotions - uncertainty and caution, obvious mistrust and dislike, a spur of surprise, then right back to the mistrust. It was easy to see he hadn't left a very positive impression, especially from the answer his question got. But it didn't really matter if the shifter liked him or not; that driving prick of interest could be sated anyway, silly as it was to have come all the way out here on curiosity. "Just a pa-ssing stranger," the Plant replied simply, matter-of-factly. He went to lean against the rock spire behind him, but the dull pain that still lingered over him jolted up again, making him wince a little. Perhaps that wasn't such a great idea at the moment. Knives stood straight again and instead crossed his arms, noticing with a frown that his skin had begun tingling with uncertainty of what it wanted to be again, especially on his left hand. It wasn't nearly as bad as when he'd first fallen down here, but it was aggravating enough. Rather than lingering on that aggravation, he tried to push on and ignore the pain while it still refused to die down. "Or at least, I was. But.." He picked the black feather from his hand and held it in front of him. It was a little tattered now - probably crushed in his grip while he tumbled to the ground, Knives suspected. "You dropped this." His grin was malicious and jeering. "I couldn't very well let you run off without trying to give it back, could I?" He flicked the feather in the stranger's direction; it flew in an upward curve, then stopped short and twirled down to the ground, like a bird shot down as it rose into the sky. And once more, Knives' face was a cast of neutrality, blank as always. Just the way he liked it to be.

OoC: I do. xD I feel kinda bad for it; I haven't used a single character of my own all this time.. The only other canon character I can think of that's still pretty active right now is the Doctor. Oh, and Lucy. *nodnod* And darn it, I went and didn't get anything written for Vash or Woofwood last night, like I'd wanted to. I need to stop neglecting my doooods. 8(

OOC: 8D Anastasia~ Wow. I know summy' called Anastasia. Show me that rant. 8D Ah. I roleplayed the Master Chief from Halo for a bit. But he eventually sort of... "died' after I stopped roleplaying him. xD My perception of him was too quiet because I only got information about him from Halo 3 at the time. Now I've got all the novels, I have a better idea of what he's really like. I'm tempted to bring him back really, although I like fantasizing about what it'd be like if all the Spartans joined. xDD Dude, Kurt would be in heaven, that with his uncommon social streak that's almost nonexistent in other Spartans. o3o Mind you, Grey Team were pretty chatty... But, d'you know who I'd really love to try out roleplaying? Cap'n Jack Harkness from Doctor Who. He'd be perfect for this... Actually. I think I will. :D How To Train Your Dragon actually looks quite good. :) It's not out here yet though, I don't think. Americans tend to get first dibs when it comes to cinema performances. xDDD S'orite, yoshi-hon-bon - Knivsey will occupy my attentions. The Haran's face was grim as he wordlessly listened to the stranger's words. He wanted to remain anonymous, that was sure - he hadn't told Berello his name. And his offish attitude was beginning to put the Haran on edge. He felt terribly wary of the stranger. Not quite fear, but a deep feeling of caution mixed with distrust churned at the bottom of his gut like a restless lagoon. His dark blue eyes watched the feather up, then down, as it drifted away from the newcomer. Disturbed even more by the stranger's mockery, Berello glanced one more time at him, before turning his expressionless eyes towards the feather. He lifted a hand, palm upwards with his fingers slightly bent, and the little ob ject jumped into the air as if by an unknown wind. The feather turned end-over-end in the air, lazily wafting its way towards the Haran, until it gently set itself between the tips of his forefinger and thumb. He lowered his head to examine it, lifting his other hand to hold it as well.
The miniscule threads of colour that lined the ivory-coloured spine of the feather were disturbed of their original settings; gaps lingered here and there, and the feather had lost its previous silky-smoothness. Now, it felt dry and lifeless. Still expressionless, he gently slipped the sharp point of the feather into the underside of his wrist. With a nearly-inaudible snip, the feather melted inside. Frowning slightly with discomfort, Berello watched as the ruffled feather, beneath his skin, slowly transformed back into flesh again, and all signs that the feather had even existed were eradicated. He lowered his hands back down to his sides and frowned at the creep leaning against an opposite canyon wall. Smug idiot. "Thanks," the Haran replied dryly, his tone dictating something somewhat of the opposite. "I appreciate the help." That was only partly true, but a suspicious feeling nagged at him. There was no way this... stalker had tracked him singlehandedly across a desert, then pursued him across a gaping canyon, just to return a ruined feather. "Although, I'm unconvinced that you followed me here just to return a ruined feather." He frowned. "What's the catch?"

OoC: Hmm. I feel like some more characters, it will make my posts... longer. o3o Hokay. Starlett watched Caine’s expressions closely. He didn’t seem to give anything away, but Star was sure to see a flicker of amusement under his thin eyebrows. “You really think so?” Caine said, and put his legs up on the coffee table. “I have been hearing things like that too, but I’ve taken no notice. Ghosts can’t do much in the human world, you see.” Starlett leaned forward toward Caine. “You need to help! What if the world ends, just because we haven’t taken our butts off our seats and done something! We have to.”

OoC: Stalker!Knives? xD Nice, 'Rello. Nice. *shows you* |D [link] Wait. Chiefy was quiet? He seemed pretty involved in things to me, and he definitely loved to go into situations with guns blazing. xD Also, y'did make him say he wanted a bunny once.. 'Sergeant!' 'Yessir?' 'Gimma a rabbit.' End of the world? Ohmai. Poor Gunsmoke.. Seems it's always got some sort of disaster threat going on. xD And hey, dun' let length get to you too badly. If you'd otherwise be fine with just Caine and Star, don't force yourself to introduce more. Just have fun with it. c: ... And suddenly that kinda makes me wonder where the Nias went. x3 Seems she's the only one who has characters near yours. Vash laughed a little, now smiling sheepishly up at the Haran (almost wrote 'the Ces,' hurr). "Sorry, I'm just so happy," he said in reply to her playful taunts. And he most definitely was; he'd gone from the pits of utter hopelessness right up to the top of the world, all thanks to what could easily be called a chance meeting. If that wasn't reason to be happy - to be ecstatic, really - then he didn't know what was. It felt like the kind of thing that was so great, it called for a drunken party. Maybe he'd do that, if there were any saloons nearby.. "Besides," he added, rubbing the side of his face with his good hand, "you're the one who licked me. Doesn't that make you a slob too?" The Plant looked very satisfied with this conclusion, his grin mischeivous and confident. It only remained that way for a moment though, as he ended up cracking into another purely joyous smile, unable to keep a more straight face. Were Wolfwood there, Vash figured he'd have probably made a remark on how good it was to see him with an actual smile. Wait a minute.. Wolfwood was there. But a quick glance around him told Vash that he wasn't anymore; the only trace that showed the priest had been around was the few burnt-out cigarettes gathered on the dusty ground a few feel away. He frowned, looking to Ces again. "Where's Wolfwood?" Knives raised a brow at the small demonstration from the stranger. So he was able to both manipulate wind, it seemed, and to reabsorb his feathers after they were lost. Interesting - especially the former. The only one Knives knew of who was able to pull off anything even close to that was Hornfreak. But his technique was the manipulation of soundwaves and vibrations, not of wind itself. Similar, but not very. The feather was interesting simply because no natural bird could do that, nor could most Plants. Once a feather was dropped, it was left to go its own way; the Plant would simply replace it by making a new one. (... Nuh. I gotta go soon. 8( *hurries to finish*)
He smiled vaguely at the stranger's conclusion. As if that wasn't obvious. "Oh, drat. It seems you've found me out." He shifted on his feet, breathing a brief laugh. It almost seemed it didn't even deserve to be called a laugh. "There's not necessarily a catch, but you're right." He held up a hand, from which a small blade suddenly poked up, alongside a white feather. He plucked the feather from its place and let the blade recede into his skin again, now holding his own feather up between his fingers as he'd done with the other one. "Not that different, are we? I suppose it was just curiosity for that that brought me out here."

OOC: xDD Ah, I was making him too chatty. xD I disliked the idea of him being quiet, so I made him say a few more things that I'd previously as-sumed he wouldn't. x3 Turns out he does have a streak of humour... Guilty Spark: Oh, hello! I'm a genius! Chiefzy: Right. And I'm a Vice Admiral. xD I'd forgotten about that part in the book... But the squabbles he has with Cortana are even better. They argue and clash like a married couple. Guess Kelly will have something to be jealous of if she is reuinted with Chiefzo again. x3 She might "accedentally" snap Cortana's floppy disk... "You! Corporal, what's your name?" "Uh, Bob, sir." "Bob, gimme a gerenuk." "Sir-?" "I pity the fool who questions a Spartan! *bang*" "Dude, I'm over here."
Nias' still alive. :3 But, ah, well... something not-so-great has just happened in school, so she's a bit upset at the moment. The Ces. ;o Ces opened her mouth to lash back a reply, but her half-open jaws clamped shut and her head switched around to check Wolfwood's presence. It was nonexistent. She stared out into the darkness, her golden eyes lightened to a little more lemonlike hue and glaring out like a pair of twin, relentless search beams - minus the helpful rays of light. Her nighttime sight was good, very good, and it was this that helped confirm the priest's absence. Smell would've done no good; the very air seemed choke with the rancid smell of blood. The stench was overpowering, particularly for her infinitely sensitive nose, and it twiddled with her head slightly. It was both intoxicating and wonderful. But her human side was disgusted; she didn't think she wanted to hold out anymore. Deciding poor sense of smell over poor sight, her form elongated and shot up into her black-clothed human form. Ces staggered slightly in response to the slight drain of energy the transformation had inflicted upon her. The cold night air bit at her cheeks with surprising quickness, and to her dismay, the reek of corpses refused to die. But it had eased down a considerable amount, so that was at least one good point to being human. She'd sacrificed her night sight, and was displeased by how much darker everything was. A sheet of blackness, interrupted only when certain objects and faces were shone upon by the moons' helpful glow, seemed to cover everything. But at least she wasn't so low down anymore. "Not sure," she said in response, her voice a little clearer and somewhat deeper than when she was dog-formed. She lifted a hand to ruffle and straighten her short, light brown hair; it felt uncared for and greasy, and stuck up in drier tufts since the last time she'd been humanoid. Yet she dreaded the state of the rest of her body. She was definetely going to need a wash soon; being a dark-furred animal had succeeded in covering up the worst of her tacky appearance. She offered a hand to help Vash up - her ungloved one. "Let's go look for him. Probably won't take long. And I need to just stop - occasionally falling unconscious is a really crap way to recouperate the brain." OOC: I'll write something for the Stalkee later. Edit: Following the newcomer's motions with the feather and the knife - instantly putting him on his guard even more - Berello's face devoid of emotion, but inside, his thoughts were churning uncontrolably. Not that different, are we? For some reason, those words made the Haran feel perplexed, like he'd been insulted somehow. But they still disturbed him slightly, and also irritated him, too. It was like this stranger knew who he was (or pretended to, which aroused a feeling of scorn inside the Haran's heart), as though 'Rello wasn't the first alien this person had encountered... Or the first Haran. Something clicked inside of his double-minded head. This guy was far too relaxed, far too certain of himself, to be unfamiliar with the Haran. If he didn't have any connection or relation to Berello, then he certainly wasn't showing it. Which meant that this stranger - who was subtly refusing to give out his name - had most likely met someone as different as Berello before. Of course, the Haran had been aware of extraterrestrial existence during his entire life, and had encountered plenty of aliens. Maybe this guy had, too, and wasn't easily surprised by new races as some were. Berello hoped that this theory was incorrect, because he was swiftly losing faith in his simple and unimpressive plan. Keeping his voice level, and most certainly not with the childish drawl he saved for his brother, he coolly asked, "If it was just out of curiosity, then fine. But I have another question for you - are you... familiar with my kind? You ever encountered... another shape-changer before?"

OoC: ... *iggle* Vash and Ces are dirrrrty. xD Hurr. I kinda liked Cortana. She was pretty spiffy. Awe. o: Tell the Nias I'll eat her if she doesn't be happy. Or I'll at least eat up all her hair ♥ Yus.. The Knives and the Ces. o3o And then the Doctor's so epic he already gets a 'the'. xD Hurr. You guys have got me all crazy about Doctor Who, and I've only seen a single episode of it. ... Nuhhh. I feel all lazy. I think I killed myself so badly trying to do last night's posteh (worked on it from prob'ly midnight to four) that I don't wanna write now. x3 I'll try to get up a little earlier than I usually do to work on something.
