OOC: Ahh, sorry, been distractered lately.
"Distrust?" the giant reptile snorted in genuine puzzlement. The quills that stuck out behind his skull quivered slightly in thought, although it looked more like an impatient flick. Tevereo on his shoulder gave an irritated, birdlike squeak and almost lost his footing, bursting out his wings for balance. The kentracha didn't do so much as whisper an apology to the younger of the pair, let alone acknowledge he'd almost slipped off. "You make her sound like a parasite. But I'll take your word for it. Sometime soon, she'll be gone." The creature stood up - he'd been lying on the cliff-edge like some lazy leopard - and gave a low, satisfied growl in his thorat which sounded more like a snarl.
The larger of the Harans sounded considerably more professionnal than his supposedly-inexperienced brother, but his tone was so calm he could've been mistaken for being just extremely laid-back. This unsettled Tevereo, although his minute form - cast in black by the shadow of his own brother - was indistinguishable and unreadable. The kentracha's white eyes blinked once, and he gave a nod to Knives.
"We're going to keep our word but that's only as long as you do the same. We don't want a has-sle, but there probably will be anyway. Always is. I'd advise you kept on your toes, just in case... You don't need to do anything from here onwards. Leave it to us." With another nod, the kentracha slipped off the edge to land in a small erruption of invisible dust, although the clear trickle of loose stones rolling off the clifface betrayed his manouver. His darkened form slowly padded away between a gap in the canyon, not stopping until the quilled end of his black tail disappeared for good into the shadows. Silence ech-oed.

Ces gave a small grunt. "And I doubt that I'll be able to carry us all," she murmured, hands in pockets (OOC: in case they weren't already, and I'm as-suming she's human again xD Nyeh, feels right to be roleplaying a female again... Weird much??). "Eagle might be big enough, but who's to say everyone will stay on...?" Almost instinctively her mind switched to Shade. Then Vash, and a small smile tugged at her rough lips, thinking of his reference to a "thomas", whatever on earth it was. "So lift by TARDIS sounds about right."
She frowned slightly, however. "And what's this place you have in mind?" she asked the Plant curiously. "If it's got food, hot water and somewhere to sleep then I'm chucking my vote in, no doubt about that. But some details would be nice."
Her gaze flicked over to Star, and in a few quick seconds took in her appearance. She couldn't remember the last time she'd seen such a rugged face... besides her friends', but she couldn't even recall the last time she'd seen a mirror. So how could she properly compare the girl to herself? A sense of pity twisted about in her gut, and pas-sed the girl a friendly smile when she realized her own face was coldly expressionless. First impressions had be to right, Ces supposed.... 'Specially if a kid was involved.
