OoC: Mebbe. ;o My best idea was, like.. everybody would pile into the Tardis, and then Knives crashes loudly into the side of it and pretends to be unconscious and hurt and a huge distraction, while Hurj'n'Phones are waiting for their chance. Or heck, maybe we could just.. have it happen by coincidence. She wants to stay outside for a minute, and bam. Our dastardly duo are there with their pointy pal, plans all prepared and Ceses all kidnapped. Baha! Oh, and I thought of something. x3 If this does go off without a hitch.. all your characters are gonna be alone together, without anyone else. Will that work, or..? I mean. I've always found it kinda weird when I got stuck being alone in a roleplay. xD Vash frowned a little at Ces' sudden brutally despairing face. He was more than tempted to ask if she was all right.. but also a little afraid to say it. Even in the middle of joking, it was obvious everyone else felt the same. Bringing that feeling to the surface would just make it feel all the realer. God, what a nightmare. This town was like a plague on all of them - and it looked like it had been hit by one, too. Like Death got bored and took a stroll through town. He didn't even bother with anything flashy. Everyone just dropped dead. Fell apart at the seams. The Plant forced out a short little sigh and wiped a hand over his face. He was making himself sick to the stomach thinking about it. So sick that.. wait a minute. Ces was suddenly gone, and he hadn't even noticed it. Vash looked around him, feeling a little panicked. Of course, then Wolfwood gave him a merciless whack to the head and pointed a rugged finger down the silver-lit street. "She went off to bring her friends back here, stupid. You were just talking about that. Stop daydreaming." "Oh. Right." Vash rubbed his head. That hurt.. But why should he expect anything different? He sighed again, this time a little more gently, and kept an eye out for Ces to wait until she came back. The night seemed so cold and dark. And.. howling. "Geez, could this place get any creepi..er?" There was Ces again. She was alone, and she looked unnervingly like a dog with rabies - pushing along slow and sad, eyes forced straight ahead. "Ces?" She simply walked up and sat in front of him. "Is.. um..." He couldn't think of anything to say. And gladly, he didn't have to. Within a minute or two, Shade's voice came up from somewhere not far away - and Ces jumped to her feet and padded off, looking happier than it seemed possible at the moment. OoC: ... Wow. I can't believe I forgot how fun it is to play with words. x3

OOC: xD That could help move my own ideas along. I was hoping to use some weird form of silly Haran charms and whatnot, luring her away from the rest of the group... Quiet, but unnaturally so.... >3> I feel the need for some extra sneakiness. Yeah, I'd be fine with that. Or Phones does something silly and unprofessional and gets left behind or something inconvenient like that. Yeah, I've been needing to write creatively for too long. It sucks not having the time and place to write like this... D; Ears flickered, and the wolf turned her head towards Vash, as if expecting to hear more. Receiving none, she continued her way through the tangle of bodies, always leading the Fera along like a guide dog. Her step had a little more bounce in it, but her benign gaze was far from optimistic. Her matted fur no longer glimmered in the impressive moonlight - instead, her black form was darkened even more by the blood that had encrusted where various wounds had once been visible upon human skin, and where sandy dust had squeezed in between the coarse layers of her fur. She finally led the Fera to where the others stood. An ache began to throb inside her legs - her four, sturdy legs which outdid her upright form. Her tail slithered out of Shade's grasp to hang loosely, without buoyancy. Then she gently padded over to Vash, vaguely aware that he had had a minor scuffle with Wolfwood, and gingerly snuffled her whiskery snout into his palm in re*censored*urance. Suddenly her eyes alighted with their old warmth, the Ces-like indulgence and attentiveness that only came to light in her canine form. The Spectre lacked the shrewd ex pression Ces possessed. In its place was obscurity and suspicion. "Now can we please go?" she softly requested. "This place is making me sick." She gently but firmly head-butted his outer thigh with her broad face and muscled, but worn out, neck. OOC: Whoo. Finally done. Sorry about that.

OoC: Ah, sorry. I saw your post - I just haven't had time to reply. x3 Traveling. I'd start now, but I'm afraid I wouldn't finish by the time we leave this hotel, and Internets access, in the morning. And then I'd prob'ly lose it, because my computer has decided in the last few days that either closing Firefox on me or shutting down all of a sudden is hilarious. Silly thang. :U Also. omg xxxx♥♥x♥.

OOC: That's fine. Having fun? I love travelling. Hmm, mebbe, if you want, write it all out on Word or something then copy and paste? So if Firefox does fart you won't lose your stoof? Of course the computer could hiccup but at least it'd be on a document. :3

OoC: Yah.. the Word thing didn't work, since I forget to save things. I didn't get very far anyway, but still. My computer's a jerk. xD I guess I'll start actually trying now, since I'm home and on reliable connections again and should have some time soon. P: And yah. I'm a silly hermit that would rather stay here than travel, but it had its occasional moments. I thought visiting a big city was the best part. Exciting and stuff. Got to ride a bus and a train and walk around everywhere and go in a huge book store and see Tron in a midget-sized theatre with comfy chairs in it and.. yah. xD Stuff.

OOC: Heh heh, no worries. Nice. I saw Tron a few months back. :3 What's the place you live in like? I really don't know what Missouri's like. xD However hard I try to convince myself I know enough about the landscape variety in the States.... I find I really don't know that much... x3

OoC: Uhm. I guess Missouri's.. kind a green and kinda hilly. Not nearly as green and hilly as I always hear it is over thur in Wales, but yah. Lotsa trees. Lotsa small ponds and.. cave-type-things related to it - we have some special kind of topography that involves slightly acidic water eating away the limestone. P: 'Course, here in Nixa we just get all the sinkholes instead of actual caves. FFFFF. Oh, and we have bipolar weather. xD Also, I never did reply to your other post's OoC. But. Yah. 'Phones getting left behind would be fun. :D Vash smiled a little - at least, as much of a smile as he could manage - at the remark. He couldn't have agreed more. He may have already decided to drag himself out here again in the morning to give some of these people proper burials, but that was different. At least then he wouldn't be standing around doing nothing. Being useless - powerless to really do anything, as the blackened hair hanging in his face kept reminding him. "All right." He rubbed his hand over Ces' head. It always made him think of a boy and a puppy - running around, having adventures. Of course, their adventures weren't exactly pure fun and games or anything, but it was still a nice comparison. Positive. He needed to think positive. He'd already pretty well been a jerk to Ces by letting things burrow into his head and overwhelm him. God, this place.. No. No more thinking like that. The Plant sighed impatiently at himself, then looked to Wolfwood. "Go ahead and take Starlett to the Tardis. The doors should be open." The priest looked at him funny for a second, then pointed to the blue box not too far away. "That thing?" "Yes, that thing. Now go on. She's cold." Wolfwood grumbled a little, but he went with it anyway. It was almost unbelievable how gentle he was toward Starlett, really. Even if he always sounded gruff, it was all quiet and polite. Asking her what she wanted to do. Vash had never seen him act so nice. "Um.. anyway. Shade, what are.. all your friends going to do?" Vash asked. He still found the idea of more of Shade's kind a little weird - even if she was still far crazier than most of 'em. The one that had fixed his eyes came pretty close, but Shade still had her beat. There was just something about the lack of an attention span. "Do they have some place to go, or are they gonna be following us now?"

OoC: Ahm. I guess since you last posted there hasn't really been much that's happened. Ces went off to grab Shade (basically a crazy catgirl xD), and then now, they're about to head off to the Tardis. In my last post I went ahead and had Wolfwood take Starlett on in to the Tardis, 'cause she's cold and stuff. Apologies for.. well, I guess it's not quite powerplaying, but like. Basically saying she went somewhere without waiting for you first. x3 Also, sorry for taking so long to reply omg.

OOC: Finally, I shall post. It feels weird, thinking about it - the RR was so busy and quick a year or two ago. Now it's kind of dragging along. Sad really. But the ol' warhorse still has some lief in it yet... I has been thinking. Mebbe make Trevereo and Hurly a bit more... bad? I suddenly wondered how it would be if they both were malicious doods. Whatddya reckon, monkeys?
"Hopefully this'll work on our little friend back there," Hurjad said, almost sounding pleased with himself. His voice and accent were corrupted, however, muffled by the fabric concealing the lower half of his humanlike face. It kept away the sickly-sweet aroma venting from an incense stick podruting from a gl*censored* box, splayed out across the sand. Inside the setup was a series of small keys, each shaped differently and with a unique, intricate pattern engraved on the sleek metal. Amongst the dust was a delicate piece of clockwork - shaped akin to an snake, with insectoid wings that quivered with lifelike anticipation. However, the golden frames of the wings were empty - there was no skin between the metallic structures that would permit flight. The legs twitched and stiffened as it examined its surroundings with four eyes that seemed to change colour depending on the angle it tilted its pristine head. His brother, now also human-formed, sat on a rock jutting from the face of a cliff, immune to fear as he hovered over the perilous fall. His cape was being held tightly around his form, with only his eyes peeking out as he glared furiously at his brother. "That stuff stinks," he growled, glaring at the burning stick. When Hurjad ignored him, Tevereo flared up. "I could've died!" "With a little luck," the older of the two murmured, occupied with his work. "An overdose can kill us! And at least warn me when you're about to light one of those things," Tevereo spat, hunching his shoulders like a seething crow. "You p*censored*ed out and landed on me. It didn't kill you. Now man up already." He received a scowl for his blunt statements, and Tevereo's voice became less childlike. "Won't the others pick it up? Especially those... cat-people. The crazy dysfunctional midget with the black hair. She's close to Ces." "Na, only our kind can get hooked on this, and what an effect it has on us - as you've discovered. This stuff will be irresistible to her. It will draw her to us." "But won't... kill, will it?" Tevereo asked nervously. "No, despite how much easier that would make taking her," Hurjad replied, nearly softly. The small, snakelike "creature" shivered with a new energy as the Haran shoved one last key - the smallest - into a tiny compartment between the wings. A light spilled out and filled the metal frames that shaped the wings, and with a series of furious clicks, it took off and disappeared into the night sky. Its telltale, clicking, hissing noise, eerily rhythmic, slowly introduced a new silence to the gorge where the Harans sat either side on. Hurjad began packing away his familiar equipment with a smirk on his dark-eyed, narrow face. *** A doggyish smile tugged upwards at Ces' jowls, creasing the velvet fur around them. She pressed her head a little harder into the Plant's hand - adoring the way he'd patted her for some reason - then softly butted his thigh with her broad face, swaying drowsily. She didn't want to overdo her friendly gesture, but felt a strange urge to show her appreciation for his company. However, being surrounded as they were, she felt apprehensive to be so... affectionate, around him. Almost shy. Then a wave of ridiculousness overcame her and the tip of her bushy tail twitched in embarras-sment. She was relieved of the fur coating her lengthy face, but even then, the dirt and sand and blood on it would probably conceal any blushing had she been human. Ces, smiling inwardly at herself, turned away from the group and began weaving her way behind Wolfwood and Starlett towards the Tardis. This newfound feeling of fluster gave her enough edge to go with the plan, and hopefully urge the others in following her to the time-travelling ship.

OoC: Thanks Yoshi! And I totally don't mind about the kinda-powerplaying thing :) So... The Tardis is, from what I gather, a time machine thingy? I'm not really sure.. xD and what does it look like?
