 OOC: The Tardis is famous.
Exterior with the Doctor:

 http://www.charlotteward.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/tardis.jpg

It basically belongs to the Doctor - last of the Time Lords, poor dear - which he actually stole from his race with intentions to return it, but, well, they kind of died. So he kept it. It's bigger on the inside than the outside, quite a lot like a massive house rather than a proper spaceship (only with this nice sci-fi feel to it). So we know it has a kitchen and a huge sort of wardrobe, but little is known about the rest of the Tardis' contents. It can travel through space and time yet only the Doctor can operate it properly (in this roleplay, everyone's a bit o.O when it comes to piloting the Tardis). Despite appearing like a machine, the Tardis is in fact alive, and despite having no notable gender, the Doctor refers to it as a "her". Assuming we're sticking with the Tardis' previous design with David Tennant before it got its makeover with Matt Smith, the control panel and main room should look like this:

 http://www.whotopia.co.uk/drwho/images/tardis/tardis-9thdoctor-inside.jpg

http://weirdscifi.ratiosemper.com/drwho/images/insidetardis02.jpg

Traditionally, Tardis(es?) have the handy ability to change their forms depending on where they land - for example, if they were to travel to Rome, it'd take the form of a statue or something, to blend in and avoid arousing alarm in the oblivious natives. But this particular Tardis' "chameleon circuit" broke, leaving it in the form of a 1960's police box. It is the Doctor's single known companion or even "friend" from their home planet, Gallifrey, now destroyed, and it has been in his possession for over five hundred years. It cannot speak directly but has been known to wield telepathic abilities.

... I may have out-nerded myself.

OoC: It's from Doctor Who! :O I didn't know it was called a Tardis. Thank you! That helped. A lot. :)

OoC: ... Snap. That's some deion. xD
Well. I guess it's Knivesy's turn again.. even if he doesn't exactly know what the snake-bug's for. x3 I'll come up with something.
Oh, and sorry I never replied on the Shoutbox earlier, Wolfeh. I saw your comment.. and then my Internets decided to die.

Knives watched the sky and the moons as he now walked along on the sand - a bit of a break from flying. It was ridiculously slow-going, and he scowled at his own patheticness, but damn it, that shoulder he'd landed on earlier wouldn't quiet down. It was like a child, whining for hours on end after getting a little cut. And it made flying.. well, he hated to admit it even just to himself, but it made it painful. Something that really made him uneasy for some reason.

He felt like he'd broken a shield around him. Certainly he didn't fear the world, especially while he was surrounded by nothing but open land, and only sandworms could possibly hope to sneak up. But suddenly he did feel less invincible to it. Even his own powers seemed.. untrustable. The Plant could easily quiet the pain, but somehow he felt like he shouldn't. Like waiting would be better.

Ugh, no. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. He spread out his wings again, ignoring-

Ignoring.. what? What was that? There was the sound of something tiny. Something mechanical. Something twitching and clicking and hissing along. Knives looked all around him, trying to find whatever it was.

There - it shone high over his head. A little speck of starlight, broken away from the sky. It was fast (or.. I'm a-ssuming it's fast. xD), and it seemed like it was going in the same direction as he was. Either a strange coincidence, or some toy sent out by the pair in the gorge. The Plant a-ssumed the latter, and he shot up in the air to find out - again, he stammered a little at first, but he caught himself a little easier this time and was soon on the little contraption's tail.

Yep. It was definitely something that belonged to the two brothers back there. A snake and a dragonfly at the same time. Odd animals were their kind's specialty, he guessed. He'd sure seen Ces turn into plenty of 'em, and this little thing was no different.

Of course, it was also slower than he was. And if it was heading to the town, it was obviously going after the stupid little puppy as well. He'd have to make sure it could get to her.

So, Knives dove down a little, went under the bug, and set on his way over the sands again, leaving it behind like it was nothing more than another star in the sky.

OOC: I know, I've disgusted myself a little really. But this sad little part of me is patting me on the back and giving me a biscuit, murmuring, "You did goooood, Wolfeh..."
Tha's perfectly alright, my dear dinosaur. :) I suddenly figured it was probably best you never replied, really - I had about 3 chatboxes open on Facebook on another tab. xD Flicking back through two websites, plus with the pace the Sb was going at... in short, seemed slightly daunting at the time...
And yes, the little buggy-snake is pretty quick. xD Flies like a dragonfly, too, with its whole body extended. I did a silly little doodle of it earlier today, but, well... I'll try and do a better version...

Tevereo's blue eyes followed the clockwork "creature" whizz away, still with his makeshift mask tied around his face. He felt incredibly apprehensive about the kind of equipment his sibling used... especially around him. Hurjad followed a much darker form of magic, and, unsurprisingly, had accepted a course that specialized in harmful, or in the very least, unpleasant forms of sorcery. He loved anything to do with chemicals that screwed with someone's head, particularly during interrogations and experiments. Hurjad had rarely become involved with anything extreme to do with governmental affairs, but he was also the one who helped develop the poisons and equipment that would be used in warfare... A legalised murderer, Tevereo often liked to think.

The little clockwork krifnur - the design of which was actually one of Hurjad's - was a tool he rarely used, due to its unpredictability. Not only would it get lost at times, but it would also deliberately sting other Harans after going for the original target, just for the fun of it. Over the last twenty years it had been in use, it had begun to develop a "malicious personality", as vindictive as its creator. Hurjad was the single Haran Tevereo knew - and being, for that matter - it would never disobey. And hadn't stung yet...

So, watching the small thing fly away, Tevereo once again felt a small chill crawl up his spine. The soft chink of metal sliding against metal drew his attention to the crouched form of his brother, packing everything away in the glass case. He held each rod, screw, key, anything vital, with the utmost tenderness, like each little thing was something alive. Ironic that the final creation wasn't a living thing, and never would be.

"Don't be so tense," Hurjad suddenly said, glancing up at his brother. His eyes, no longer white, were a darker blue than Tevereo's, and contained the faintest traces of an apology. "It'll sting her, she'll come back with us, problem solved. Then we can go back to Theslern and finish it." He looked back down and continued to pack away.

"Maybe she won't wanna leave..." the younger began, his voice trailing. "She might miss the others..."

"Then she'd better say her goodbyes soon," Hurjad replied, his voice suddenly cold. "I will not take the responsibility to bring her back to them. She should stay with her own kind, and not those weirdos... " When the silence stretched between them, he looked up from his work, now complete. "And you'd better not, either." Pause. "D'you hear me, little brother? She should stay behind and help rebuild. Her absence has been exceedingly unhelpful, the selfish little-"

Tevreo ignored his brother and left him to his quiet, angry rantings, fully aware what was now expected of him.

****

The krifnur didn't pause once in its tireless little quest, not even when the mysterious dark shape glided casually beneath it. The clicking increased in tempo, as if cursing the new creature for sneaking up on it, and the coloured lights flushed angrily. But then it settled into a steadier pace once it had recollected its scattered calm, and carried on flying, the wings resuming their steady shift between green, teal, red and purple.

OoC: Gosh, your bumping noises are entertaining. xD
Ahm. Yahhh.. this time I kind of just kept putting off for no reason. I really should stop that. I put something off for one day.. then I figure it'd be okay to put it off for one more because I'm already late.. and so on. x3
Yah, I just went with all muh friends. c: It was really fun. Lots more fun than I figured it'd be, since the only other dance I'd been to was.. really bad.
They even had a friggin' CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN. And marshmallows and stuff to stab on a stick and dip into its delicious falls~
Anyway.

After a few more minutes of nothing but sand passing below, Knives finally saw the little town's silhouette begin to slowly crawl away from the horizon, like a beetle trying to sneak away from the sky's looming foot. Not much longer. He just hoped they hadn't gone inside the white-coated idiot's phonebox - it'd be a real pain to try and drag Ces out again. Hell, if that was the case he may as well just wait for the mechanical bug to catch up, and then hold the door open for it.

He guessed for once it was a good thing they all had this stupid obligation to help people - they'd definitely still be there, wasting time. No way they'd leave a murderer behind. Oh, no. Of course not. They'd probably stay and keep looking for him as long as they figured they had to.

Well, luckily for them that wouldn't be very long. A little more time, and the Plant was landing yet again on a sandy rooftop in this bloodbath of a town. He tried to make it as quiet as possible, but it was hard not to make snipping noises as he pulled his wings in again.

Unbelievably, most of the group was still hanging around outside, messing around no doubt. Chapel was heading for the phonebox with a little girl Knives hadn't seen before, and Vash, Ces, and Shade were standing around in the street. Perfect - absolutely perfect. All that was left now was to wait for the insect to come and do whatever it was supposed to do. If Ces tried to go inside, he'd just jump down and make a distraction.

So, he knelt in the dark. And he waited.

OOC: Yes, well, the traditional "bump" felt tedious after a while. c:
Hush, don't worry, I do it too. Well, except for now, maybe, depending on how much time i have. x3 But I killed an Rmial roleplay recently because I was such a lazehbum... And I wasn't approvings of the Sue I had to go against. :c
Noice! Ours had a choccy fountain too. I had plans to go and pay a visit, but I had this big blonde monkey that kept holding onto me, so... I was more or less pinned to the same spot most of the time. x3 Still... not really regretting it....

A slithering shadow streaked across the dark blue-black of the above, following the path the winged Plant had taken. It had sensed its quarry, and had dulled the rhythmic flushing of its wings to a less-noticeable spectacle. The clicking had also quietened, and it circled above the black wolf like a vicious wasp, calculating and malicious. It had no "eyes" but didn't seem to need them. The circles became tighter as it pinpointed its trajectory - one chance. That's all the lethal little krifnur had. If it failed now, chances are it would be destroyed by the others in defence, but even if it had managed that, it saw no future with its creator for failing such a crucial mission.

* * *

Below, the Haran's ears gave a perk. She came to a casual, weary stop, suddenly curious, and looked around herself in bewilderment. A buzzing noise was emanating from above, like an insect. It was quite close by, but it sounded... suppressed? And there it was, a strange, clockwork kind of chink. Like a wound-up toy. Intrigued and unsettled at the same time, Ces arched her neck further back until she was almost looking directly upwards, like she were howling silently. There it was - the faintest glimmer of pink, shifting into red, then purple, then a strange sea-green - and then the buzzing noise suddenly became very ferocious and predator-like as it sped down in what looked like her direction-

* * *

The krifnur's hit was perfect, dead-on- target. To begin with, the tail ejected a dart-like needle from its tail, which then fell off in its uselessness to land with a soft thud on one of the bodies that coated the ground. The dart hit the Haran's shoulder, and as she turned in bewilderment to the small, painless thing that had begun to pump an ice-cool, ghostly-blue liquid into her, the rest of the metal parasite followed, and crashed into her face. The coils on its chest snapped apart to reveal four, insect-like legs which gripped and tightened around the wolf's muzzle, shoving its head between her teeth. She squealed and growled and hurled her head in every direction, but to no avail.

"Vash-!" was all she was able to shriek, before the krifnur's face opened apart and a long, wormlike thing began to seep into her mouth. It was cold and tasted worse than it felt. By now the legs had weakened tremendously, and snapped off like brittle twigs. They clattered to the ground as tiny pieces of metal. Without the support the krifnur seemed to flop off, and the head finally caved in.

However, the strange dart had begun to play its effect on Ces, and the fur began to shift into feathers, then scales, and occasionally the quills of the kentracha, and then to skin, like a kaleidoscope of pelts. She writhed on the floor, with on hand yanking out the dart - which was almost completely empty - and the other was trying to pull out the vile parasite that was slipping down her neck. It wasn't particularly huge but it was enough to make her retch, and breathing was suddenly so laborous. There, it settled, at the back of her throat, sitting in her windpipe like a worm inside the bark of a tree, sapping away at her energy.

Ces steadied her spasms until her legs were trembling in fear. Her dusty, long-fingered hands were poised at her throat, afraid to touch herself for fear she disturbed the slumbering worm. Ces could feel it breathing inside - feel it swelling and settling, already adjusting to her body temperature. She turned her head to stare at Vash with huge, frightened eyes, suddenly unable to speak. Or afraid to. Numbness crawled like a cold wave from her shoulder down her arm.

OoC: ... o_o
Woah, man. Woah.
Ohay. I just noticed it's May again.. which means as of twenty days ago, the roleplay is three years old. :D

"Wha- Ces!" Suddenly the Haran was on the ground, in her normal form again. Vash practically dove to join her. He knelt at her side, feeling more than helpless while she spasmed like.. like.. oh God. What was that - what the hell was that? There was something fat and shiny lying in the back of her mouth, moving ever so gently - an opposite to Ces' trembling. It looked like it was breathing. It was disgusting and terrifying all at once. He couldn't imagine how Ces felt.

If only his arm had Inspector Gadget powers, damnit. That thing'd be plucked out easier than a toy in a hawking CLAW MACHINE.

The Plant started to panic. There was no way he could get it out - it'd just slip between his fingers even if he tried. He glanced up toward the Tardis, fidgeting all the time. No, Wolfwood and Starlett were already inside. They wouldn't hear him - and there was no way Vash was gonna leave to go get them. Wait.. "Shade!" She was right there, but he yelled anyway. "You have claws, right? Maybe you could grab this thing and-"

Suddenly there was a squeak of surprise and a thud into the sand. "Shade?" He started to look up, but before he could make sense of anything the wind was knocked out of him, and all he knew was sand and hurt. He wanted to groan or yell or something but couldn't seem to make a sound. Someone.. tackled him? Then there was a jeering voice. No.. what was that idiot doing?

"Helping my dear brother out," Knives replied aloud to the thought, obviously happy at how things were going. "This little puppy here's been dragging you down too long. I've decided to take her out of the picture and move her to a different one."

He walked over to Ces' side and looked down at her, a smirk on his face. "Didn't you know, little dog? Some of your friends have been looking for you. You wouldn't want to leave them all alone, now would you? A couple of brothers abandoned by their sister, surrounded by strangers and aliens as they wander the wastelands.. Isn't that such a sad story?"

Knives knelt to the sand and slipped his hands under Ces' shaking body. "Now, you're coming with me."

OOC: :3
Ohmaigod. Late birthday party! *party poppers, balloons-* Okai enough fun. :c
And lolage. The Inspecting Humanoid Typhoon Gadget.

The numbness continued to spread, like a toxic blanket, down to the fingers of her left hand. She tried her best to raise it, flex her knuckles, punch the smug-faced prat in the face. No response. Now it was going across her chest and wriggling down her side. Ces could almost visualise a cloud moving across her body, blocking out her senses, the nerves, diminishing the light. Her legs also refused to work. She was as limp as a doll.

Strong, muscular arms were gathering beneath her, lifting her up. But no reassurance came. She knew it wasn't Vash; Ces' sight and sound hadn't ebbed completely away by now. It was the worst possible person. Why, why, on earth was Knives here? What the hell was going on? Some friends had been looking for her? But... Shade... she was right there, behind her... Wasn't she?

And what on earth did he mean by, a couple of brothers abandoned by their sister?

Inside, Ces howled out for the Spectre. But it was as though... the poisons had worked against the spirit, too. She suddenly felt very alone, like her mind had been hollowed out of her mental companion. The wolf inside had been drugged as well, bound up, stashed away, and a wall had leapt up between them. She tried transforming, but that didn't work. Her sense, every muscle, every fibre in her being had come to a kind of... stop. The Haran was literally... broken. No longer working. Except in one respect...

Ces turned her head as best she could, the only place where she hadn't been frozen. Her eyes met Vash's, and something twisted inside her (in the parts that were still feeling, anyway), a kind of distress. He looked anguished. As best as she could, she murmured softly but firmly his name. "Don't worry. Let him take me." Ces' eyes implored as her left arm finally swung down, useless, and her tongue finally lost all feeling. The bitter-tasting, wriggly fiend in the back of her throat suddenly gave a nauseous bulge, as if with satisfaction, and fell and swelled again a few times, sliding a little further down. The Haran could feel tiny little legs, more like small, prodding claws, stroking and kneading the back of her fleshy throat, as if adjusting its horrendous grip.

... Hmm, yes. I has been having ideas. Knivsey passes Cessey over to Hurjy and Tevvy, where they do some more silly flashy magicallings and switch over to Theslern. Then the Doctor does something clever and tracks them there. As for Knivsey, well, that's up to you I guess. Mebbe Vashings goes all, "C'mere you, u got us into this trubble. ;/ *bring*"
I'll make a post in a second.
