Ces' ears flicked towards the stranger's voice - one she had not heard before, and her hackles raised even higher, if such a feat were even possible. Instantly alarmed, her low snarl turned into a bloodcurdling growl - if this 'Damphere' was truly half wolf, then she should understand her meaning perfectly. Except, Haran wolves were more evolved and complex in their communication, almost forming 'words' in their animal-like language. Earth wolves only made sounds to suit the situation, not for conversations or specific speech, like humans. Haran wolves were more human-like in some ways - but were also very different. Don't come near me!

Dont come near ME corrected Winter in Her wolf language or i will ripe you to shreds.. Winter grmiecd,her wolf ears and tail twitched,she morphed into a black wolf to prove her point,she snarled.

Ces gave a sigh - and a small, unexpected trickle of blood slid out of her injured jaws. With another small whimper, she repeated another growl. Do I look healthy enough to come even near you? Can you recall anything that vampire just did to me? Although the Haran did not show it, Ces was afraid - afraid that her enemy, the threat, was outside her line of sight. She could only judge the Damphere's position only by the direction of her voice, not by sight, and lack of vision always made Ces wary, whatever form.

She is. :D And I've had an idea for a name. I actually briefly considered calling her Ces, but Ces is half wolf. But then, Shade is half cat. ;D
*rubs her chin* 'T sounds interesting... :o And what about the part with Knives and possibly Legato? Where would they come in..?
I'm a cream Meiko. On the profile of someone I don't even know. x3 Before the rollback, Aerin had me, also as a cream Meiko, and then it disappeared. :o Maybe that person was a friend of hers, and decided to bring her Creatu back...
Yah. It was really hard to think of good postehs for only Knives, when I had Vash all unconscious. x3 They just react so differently to everything. <:3
Ohyas. Tomorrow's a half-day, and then I has winter break! >:D I'm really wondering why everyone freaks out about finals, so much. xD I have to take all of them, since I've missed, like(*steals a word from Flash*), a gwazhillion days, yet I found today really easy. :3 I'm pretty sure I'll have gotten a very high score on the Science final, and the Art Foundations one was pretty easy, too, as it was all vocabulary. And the Gym final. Lard, that was, liek, the easiest test ever. xDD Nine true-or-false questions about badminton and a tenth, 'Why is it important to exercise?' I just answered with the oh, so corny, 'To be healthy.' xD
And I only got an hour of sleep, last night. 83 Vash hardly even acknowledged Winter, flashing her only a brief, vague glance, before returning his attention to his friend. "Ces... Please calm down," he murmured, his hand now sliding across her fur. "You're hurt." But Knives stared at her with an almost curious look, and one incredibly smug. "And who do you propose you'll kill, Miss Damphere?" he taunted, his cold eyes narrowing. "No need to be so hostile. You may find yourself in a terrible situation, attempting to assault the wrong people, you know." He flashed her a smirk, seeming as though he was simply daring her to try something. "Just leave her alone, Knives," the younger Plant muttered, though he didn't look up.

OOC: Well, at least it represents determination and... the other thing, too. <:3 Lulz XD. Why not give her a name in a different language? I doubt Schroedinger is Welsh... I think it's German, or at least, something European. X3 Well, I kinda imagined how it would turn out if Knives and Legato actually worked for the Master :P. But, it would seem as though we were trying to play your characters for you, so in another way, it wouldn't really wurk. But it was just a guess. :3 Lulz. And the Master Chief's so serious - why can't I ever get to roleplay funny people?! Yazoo was too calm and self-centered, Ces is too serious and collected, MC is... just quiet! XDD This is why I want to play the Master - he's an absolute psycho, but he's so crazy! Ces raised her head slightly, then dropped it roughly again to the ground, as if angry with herself as well as Winter. This was partly true - she'd resorted to her wolf instincts and had actually snarled at her friend. Vash didn't seem offended, however, and the Haran felt relieved. Although her hackles were now flat again, she appeared agitated. Her breathing quickened again, her eyes now wider than before and her tail giving stressful little twitches. Then she spoke in English. "I can't speak... properly..."she murmured, pronouncing each word with only tiny movements of her damaged mouth. Despite the stress and the pain, she had felt Vash's hand stroke her fur, and it seemed to calm her a little. Only Shade ever stroked her. It wasn't unusal for the Remnants - her old companions - to touch her fur, but they only ever seemed to rub her ears. They had never truly stroked her to be friendly, nor to be kind. But, they weren't friendly or kind, and Ces felt almost happy that they were gone.

Clubbed, drowned, poked!! }=D Pecan took out a needle of silver and a long thread and got to work sewing (yup, you heard right) up the cut and let the blood drip into a little vial. I'll save that for later, she thought. She then took out another wooden pestal, looked Ash up and down, but thought twice and put it back in her bag. The bag seemed to go on forever, like it had enough room to live in. Then she saw Ces and Winter. Winter's threatening glare made Pecan see her as a right plapp. She looked angry but tried to hide it. It was useless. Just when you'd think she'd stab Winter with some silver knife, she chucked a ripe, perfectly round orange at the black wolf's glaring face and wore a triumphant face. It hit her skull like a rock. "That's what 'ripe' is!" she shouted.

Oh, noes. Knivesy wouldn't go for that, at all. xD And Legato probably wouldn't, either. He only works for Knives. Who doesn't work for anyone. :3
I actually think serious characters are fun. ;3 They're moar epicful.

Ah... Trigun makes me iggle. xD Knives snorted, rolling his eyes. "What ever happened to that hatred of killing you've always had? Shouldn't you be reacting a bit more strongly, rather than simply telling me to leave her alone? You suddenly seem to care about her, more than anything else." He paused, making a waving gesture to Ces. "You don't even think of your precious Rem, at all, anymore. Va-a-ash. Has she really been replaced that easily, after so many decades of believing in her word so staunchly? Hmph. Good riddance, I suppose." And Vash froze momentarily, before hanging his head slightly and muttering under his breath, "Damn you, Knives." He resumed running his hand across Ces' fur again, as though nothing had happened. "I'm sure it'll be fine," he replied softly."You probably shouldn't try to speak, right now, anyway..." "Oh, really?" the elder twin retorted. "That idiot of a woman. She only poisoned your mind, with those ridiculous ideals. I'd say it's a good thing, if you really have forgotten her." "Shut up." Vash stared sadly ahead, wondering if he truly had let go of her, without even meaning to or realising it. He attempted to recall her song, only to find that he couldn't. A sigh, and he began stroking Ces' fur once again. Knives gave a single cold laugh, but said nothing more.

OoC: your going to call your kitty Shade 83 aww I wanted to call jess that, but she had white on her so i decided not to, then I found out Flash's real name cause I told her I wanted to name Jess after her, but my mother woulndt let me, so we did the name in the hat thing, and jess came out, now everytime I see her I sing O_O {Postman Pat postman Pat, Postman Pat and his Black and white cat... "Don't make me laugh, you scum are the easiest to kill, and a Werewolf Vampire hybrid, It makes me sick just looking at you, no wonder your kind were banished from the Night World" Ash smirked his eyes were now a bright emerald green and seemed to change colour every second, Blue grey, yellow, Violet, and finaly silver. his smirk changed to a grin showing his pearly white fangs delicatley curved ending in a fine point, Ahs loved the way they felt as they just touched his bottom lip. Shade slowly let go of Lawliet and rested him on the ground. "No" She whispered tugging at Ash's arm "No more killing promise ?" Ash looked down at Shade, she looked scared, her eyes like those of a hunted deer, she looked defeated. He was supposed to be her soul mate, why did he do this ? Ash's fangs slowly began to dissapear back into his mouth his eyes became dull and grey. They looked sad. His ash-blonde hair fell infromt of his face hiding his eyes. He couldn't show weakness, not when there was some stupid half breed around. I'm only protecting you from it, Ash said in a telepathic message. It will kill you unless I kill it. "No killing her" Shade said "please" Oh great. Ash thought, now what was he supposed to do. Shade's eyes were pleading him not to kill Winter, but it was night World law, if he found anything like a human Vampire, or a Damphier it was his duty to kill it. He was Ash redfern, A direct decendant of Maya Redfern, the first and most powerfull vampire, the first of the lamia, vampires born who could age if they wanted and have children. If he went agains the Night World law he'd have to become one of theose damned Daybreakers, a small group made up of Night people and Vermin. he didn't want that. Ash sighed, then smirked trying to show that he didn't care about Shade, even if she was his Lupe. "Sorry, I can't promise anything" He said with no sound of any emotion in his voice, Eyes turning silver and fangs re-appearing Ash reached into his pocket and took out a wooden knife." Listen you stupid half breed" he directed at Winter "I can either kill your Lamia side, or werewolf side, better yet I can kill both, its your choice" Ash chocked a laugh, why he didn't know, but it seemed to be one of those times where he just had to.

OOC: Te way you say 'Knivsey' - that really makes me grin XD. Thought so. :3 Yah. It's more believeable if there are more serious characters in a roleplay, although the odd mad one puts interest into it and makes them easier to recognize amongst the others. :3 *grins at yoshi and Kitt's argument, giving no support to sibling or friend* I founds a nice song for Ces :3. I know it's from Spirited Away, but there's something about it that reminds me of her - the whole calmness of it all, ah just like it. :3 Ces' (the sepia Zennie, remember) music used to be rough Kamelot songs, not really appropriate for her whole self, only representing her fighter side. I like the piano/strings piece she's got now - much more suitable. :3 And why are my posts' font larger all of a sudden? XD Ces took Vash's words seriously and stayed silent all the while he stroked her, her breathing calming once again and her protective instincts fading away. But she appeared thoughtful, her human-wolf eyes lost in memories and emotions. Rem... she had heard him mention her before. She longed to ask him about her, but she could detect a trace of sadness in Vash, one that seemed different to the ones he'd felt before, and it was this and her injured mouth alone that prevented her from daring to ask. And Knives was making things sound worse - as though she, Ces, was replacing somebody who had been important to Vash some time ago. Ces had never felt this way before - guilty of being in a position she couldn't help, or didn't intend to, get into. Her life was so different now, and she felt even more distant to the ancient memory that was once her home, her world. The new happenings and occasions in her life were cutting her off from her Haran past, as though it had all been merely a dream and a race hadn't gone very nearly extinct overnight. But the most unpleasant, most hateful memories of the war were still implanted in her head, and she knew, as did her soul form, that they would never really fade. Feeling shameful, the only thing that was keeping Ces calm was Vash's gentle strokings - but it did not get rid of the heavy burden she felt in her heart, and she blinked slowly, her seriousness never changing in her eyes.

Shade, frowning, stepped back from him and picked Lawliet from the ground. A single tear trickled down her cheek as she took him twoard the Tardis. "Could you take him home ?" Shade asked the Doctor, her voice not much louder than a whisper. The Doctor looked down at her. Everyone did, it was only the matter of her height. He took Lawliet from Shade and into the Tardis, laying him on one of the beds The Doctor re-emerged from the Tardis. "I'll take him home" The Doctor said not in his usual voice which seemed full of life and very energetic, even his eyes had lost their usual spark. Disspearing into the Tardis The Doctor took Lawliet home to his own world. |

I just about died laughing at the state of him when he came back up. XDD Superbiig.... Dusn't liek! 8O Yah, and besides, it's impossible to take off. XD Honestly, it really is stuck on him. XD At the start of Halo 3, a soldier says "Your armour's still in *something, I think it was 'partial'* lockdown...", so, technically, it can't come off anymore X3. I likes serious posts! :o And Ces is being quite... seriously-unpleasant-y, too. It's funny - stupid OOC posts with barely any sense when we're all liek "We're crazy! 8D" and when the story posts push in, we're all, liek, "OK, let's get down to business.... 8|". |
