(i wasn't fighting you, just what i felt for the character:3 she loved Raven dearly and sorry i got mixed up with the cigar and day/night :3)
Ingrid flopped on the floor by a tree, all worn out, the shadow shield had been strong... She saw Namine with a small dark bottle that gleamed in the moonlight. She didn't care anymore, the fight had gone out of her. She watched with no emotion as the stranger proceeded to talk with Namine...

(Ok. Getting a little lost here. Not to sure what happen to Korn so I'll just try my best to go alone with it. And lets go with day time.)
The rings hit the sheld and it started to get very hot in there. Korn use more of his power and froze the rings in ice. They were like stone now. When he did not hear the lady anymore and heard someone in the house he drop the sheld to see what was going on. Just then Namine came out and he look at her. "so you think im weird wanting to protect this little bottle right foolish humans" Namine growled nastily "well this is the last of my memory with master Raven making this potion and having it tested on me, it granted me eternal life... with certain MINOR side effects"
Korn was not sure what the hell was going on. (Like me.)
Korn:Wait. That gives life? What are you waited for!? Give it to your master. It might save him. |

"no Korn, hes dead the potion won't work on him it's too late, besides he never wanted to use it on himself because there was someone very special to him and if he was alive when she died he would be devastated the only person who desires this is Alstar and i refuse to hand it to that second rate sleazy alchemist" Namine said stubbornly. She walked to where her rings were and crushed them under her foot releasing the stony bind turning them back to molten fire.
Namine placed the small glass bottle tucked up in her fur "so what will you do now then" asked Namine turning to face Korn "go back to Alstar empty handed"

Korn rise a finger to the Kojiro, meaning "Hold on a sec" and went over to his bike. He pull out a bottle of something, pop the top off, and drank it. Lefted the bottom up in the air. As he did this Korn lefted a hand to the sky and made it darker around them. Then he was done.
Korn:Ahh. Much better. I was so thirsty after getting so hot. And I can only take the sun for so long. I think its the vampire in me. Now where are we? Ah yes. My name is Korn. That is what I like to be called. What is your name Kojiro? |

Korn...Ingrid ran that name around her head, searching to see if it was familiar... She received no answers but felt as if something was impairing her ability to remember, a mind block perhaps? She decided it didn't matter and, with a sigh, stood up and walked over to what had been her old house. Namine and Korn were still deep in conversation and so Ingrid began to busy herself, working methodically so that she didn't have to think. She carefully washed the blood off of Raven's face and, in a daze, gathered all his belongings. She scrubbed the blood off he floor and swept the splintered pile of wood that had been the door outside.
Instead of a burial, Ingrid did what he would've wanted her to do... She closed her eyes, her hands outstretched and sang a very quiet tune under her breath, smoke began to engulf him and he rose up and became one with the element they had both loved for so long, now he was free to soar the heavens.
A prickling sensation on the back of her neck made her turn slowly, her eyes were drawn to a small wooden cupboard. She had stared at that little cupboard as a child with longing, as Raven had never let her open it.. A flash of a memory came back to her; She had been about 4 and had stood precariously on a pile of his thick magical tomes and spell books. She had gathered a whole range of small sharp items to pick the little rusty iron lock with but none had worked, she had been so engrossed in what she had been doing that she hadn't noticed Raven standing directly behind her...
"You won't be able to open it you know..." Ingrid had visibly jumped in shock and had whirled round to see him standing behind her, the twitching of a smile pulling at the corners of his mouth, hot little tears of guilt had streamed down her face at how she'd disobeyed him and been caught. The smile had immediately vanished and he had scooped her up in his arms saying;
"Hey, shush, i'm surprised you haven't gone for it sooner. It's locked with every kind of ward, you will know one day, i'll show you...when you are ready...hush..."
The soft of his voice still echoed in her ears as her fingers twitched with longing, she needed something to tie her memory to him, she...needed to know... With him no longer here, the wards would be down...Her own legs began to move of their own accord and within seconds she was there, her fingers brushing the indented wood. She prised it open...It was quite empty, apart from a small glass circular container looped onto a long piece of black twine...a necklace? She lifted it out, it was definitely magical as it sent humming vibrations through her fingers, the circular glass container sat in the groove of her palm comfortably, it was chipped round the edges and within it, lay a small coil of silver chain.
She stared at it for a moment, then put the necklace on and tucked the glass container under her shirt close to her heart...

"my name is Namine" Namine replied to Korn's question, out of the corner of her eye she saw as Ingrid passed her and made her way into the house, she felt Ingrid's pain for her master and dear friend, but Namine felt nothing toward Raven even though he helped her gain the insight of knowledge about magic and how to counteract it effectively, she could not sympathize his death to a Kojiro masters were everything but Namine had since long abandoned that hope of ever being more than a servant to a Sorcerer such as Raven, she had lost all of her feelings.
"Namine plz get me that bottle you know the smallest one you can find in that shelf" Asked Raven, Namine shot her fur to the cupboard holding various sized bottles, grabbed the smallest and gave it to Raven, "here this is the smallest" Namine said, "that's a good size" said Raven as he began to work on something.
"Namine you know that black potion you were studying what does it do" said Raven, "i thought you would never ask..." replied Namine"its an elixir of immortality you want to try it?", "Haha no thank you Namine you see i have a special someone and i couldn't bear to see her die before myself, i have no intention of using you elixir, plz remember though Namine a greedy Alchemist named Alstar would possibly want it though so be careful of him, even if he kills me, promise me you will protect my beloved apprentice" Stated Raven, "who is she Raven your apprentice?" Asked Namine inquisitively, "you will know her when the time comes, ohh and when i die please don't bury me"Pleaded Raven, "fine by me" Namine replied calmly.
"What is that your working on" asked Namine, "something for her for when i die please give it to her for me,it is a silver chain" replied Raven, "does it have any significance, is it the thing you have been working on for years to give her?" asked Namine grabbing a handkerchief and wiping ravens sweat from his brow "well yes i have been working on it for years and placed it in the 'Cubculaus Cupboard', by the way Namine i have placed Four tiers of potent magic sealing on the books in that cupboard, when i die... release the books no matter what and give them to my apprentice one of them is a journal you will also find it interesting" said Raven "and also in the cupboard is a letter to my apprentice too its sealed by a 7 stone magic incense the magic only you can break Namine i want that given to her ASAP after i die and no matter what do not let her get revenge for me if you meet Alstar you kill him Namine not her got it protect her with your life" Said Raven Sternly to Namine"also Namine don't be fooled the cupboard goes into a secrete hatch in the wall that's where the books are kept","thanks for telling me Raven" Namine said as she walked over to the two bottles of black liquid and drank one then fell to the ground. "Namine are you okay!" Raven shouted "duh of course stupid human" said namine coming around from the effect, Raven dropped to the floor on his knees "Namine your such a beautiful color".
Namine walked to the mirror and looked in it her beautiful blonde fur and blue eyes had changed her fur was Pure sleek black and her eyes were a blood red, she looked at the mirror and said "i vow upon my color i will protect your apprentice with my life, now Raven what is that silver chain and necklace for?" asked Namine " the necklace is a ward from danger and this silver chain is the Destiny CrossBlade - to use the Destiny CrossBlade she must hold this silver chain in her palm and call out my name 3 times please pass that onto her for me" said Raven "also i bid you a farewell forever Namine my good friend i think my apprentice is more important than you since she is still young so i won't see you again please bear me no grudge, by the way i will also leave you something in the cupbord at the back its a blood red colored potion please drink it", Namine watched as Raven left her all alone in the darkness "Yes master" Namine whispered as he left.
Flashback over
Namine went to the house and to the 'Cubculaus Cupboard' and opened the secrete hatch and she drew an incantation circle on the floor placing the books in it then chanted ' The lost wind here thy call and undo this binding gracefully cast by Raven Mcaulty' the books rattled then a breaking sound happened and the books were free, Namine went over to where a bag was and placed the books inside and gave the bag to ingrid then placed the letter into the circle and chanted 'release the power of the gods from this letter by the master Raven for his beloved apprentice' Namine then handed the letter to Ingrid "please read this ASAP", Namine returned to the house and got the red potion and drank it in front of Ingrid and Korn she then collapsed.

"Namine? Namine?!!" Ingrid dropped the letter and ran to Namine's side, she didn't know what was going on or what to do... She checked for a pulse and found one, faint but there....

Namine rose up off the ground "ughh...Ravens potions dont taste nice too bitter" Namine said, "well i guess we are going to have to go to Alstar now... You with us or not?" asked Namine to Korn, "or will you kill us here?"

(Whow. Getting a little head of me. I'm stearted to feel old here. Lets see if I can keep up. By the way I never said Korn was a "God of death" but I like it. In fact I really don't know what my Korn is. All I do know is, he is deathless, been around for a very long time,has lots of powers, and is name after one of my fabvret bands. Oh and I found what he looks like.)
 (Ladies I give you korn!) Korn watch Namine go into the house,thinking she was a little rude to not say exuess me or something. He findish his drank and whent into the house as well. As soon as he came in to the house, Korn close his eyes fast and tight. He also took in a fast breath. Korn:(inhales sharply) Lots of drak magic was use here. The one who was killed did not go down easy-ai-ly. Korn look around for the thing Alstar wanted. (No. It was not the bottle. Sorry.) He found it and put it in his pocket. After that Korn saw the wolf girl hit the floor. Couldn't care less why it happen. Then she got up and said that. Korn:I don't like to fight girls unless I'm paid to. I'm really more of a lover then a fighter kind of guy. I'm also a mercenary. Meaning I do things for pay. Money,magic,food,beer,hot ladies, are just some of the things I will work for. And right now I'm on a job for Alstar. I got what I came for and now I'm going back to get the rest of my pay. But if you girls want to hire me, I'm lestening. Ah-choo! (Korn sneeze yet aigain. At this point Korn was wondering what was makeing him sneeze. He is not one to get sick,ever.) |
