This confession came at a shock to Dike but his excitement rose..."I really like you to." he said shyly, which was unusual for him

Uatu was speechless but she smiled brightly at dike.

Uatu felt a stange feeling snd realized that for the second time in her life she truly loved someone. she put her arms around his sholders to pull him into a hug.

Syth thought it was time to apologize to Dike for her reaction...she might have taken things to far...she sighed and strode to the beach, seeing Dike and Uatu together in an embrace.  She felt jealousy...Uatu was doing a pretty good job stealing Dike as a friend...she jumped swiftly down so she was several paces away...."For someone who dosnt believe in love, your doing a pretty convincing job." Syth stated expressionlessly.

Dike pulled out of the embrace and looked into Syth's cold eyes..."S-Sybithia?!" he said excited and shocked at the same time.  He pulled Uatu close, he was starting to get protective.

Sybithia turned away, "Dosnt surprise me...hes always been into the 'easy' girls." Sybithia smirked.  She glared at Dike, "He never told me.  As I remember, 'just puppy love'" she growled.

Dike looked at Uatu and walked over to Syth... "Syth, I want nothing more then to be the best of friends, I had unsure feelings towards you...and i miss you..." he blinked, trying to get through her cold eyes.

Sybithia glared "you miss me?" she said coldly..."You had no problem replacing me." she glared.

"Replace you?  Syth no one could replace you." he said sincerly...

Sybithia glared at Dike and then at Uatu, "Well Im glad your finally happy!" she said annoyed.  "I thought Uatu loved Orinu...just shows how loyal she is if shes moving on to you!" she said, it was apparent she was angry, but no longer jealous.

That was it..."Syth, have you forgotten who Orinu moved on to?!" he growled...

Syth smiled coldly, "Yeah shes really pretty, smart to...although her friend turned out to be a backstabbing jerk!" she yelled.

Dike was trying to hold back mixed emotions, he wanted Syth back as a friend, but wanted to be with Uatu...without saying anything he grabbed Syth and pulled her into a long embrace like they had done when they were friends.

Sybithia stared at him shocked, then turned to head up the beach, not another word released.

Dike returned to Uatu, "Im sorry, I do want her to be my friend again." he said kissing her lightly on the cheek.

"I know you do dike." Uatu said hugging him.
