OoC: Ah, 's all right. x3 If not for you, this roleplay would probably still be just bouncing 'round my head. Well, we have seven people in at the moment - Wintar said she'll still be joining too, so there's eight. Not sure about Ferro and Dust yet. And I just realised Serenity never finished her bio. x3 Ah..

OOC: Ooooh - a Manticore! :DD I like those, although they're not favourites. ^^ Ohyas, and I have questions - what's the planet like? What's the technology like? Are they all Halo-ish or Fable-ish or Hable-ish or Falo-ish? What's the native species? What's the continents like? Can I have ketchup with my veggie sausage- No, wait, hold on... Yeah, all those kinda requests. xD See, unless there's some special way the charas have to get there (since Rydesa's a bit of a space-hopper ;o), I was wondering if she could crash-land all dramatic in a ball of fire drop pod, and emerge, bleary-eyed, randomly appear all determined for this new mission she'd snuffed out from a bartender's rumours? :o I liek to be specific~ I bet this roleplay will go well. ^^

OoC: *iggle* Yer crazy. xD Hm.. I s'pose maybe I should have described that in more detail or something. x3 Well. It's more or less a dangerous place - very earthquake-ridden and, resultingly, quite rocky and mountainous, even volcanic, in many places. Not much study has been put into the planet's geology though, as most efforts until now have been toward survival, and available technology regressed quite a bit since the beginning of Lera's addition to the Humans' colonisation attempt. Once most of the initial supplies they had were expended, the colonists had to resort to making tools from what they had. In a way, they came very close to starting over again. (Now that I think of it, the whole thing kinda reminds me of the terraformed planets of Firefly. xD Not quite a space-Western, but similar.) The number of Earth-originated creatures on Lera is explainable by various reasons - many animals were brought as pets or for the sake of science, while some others, like the rats, rode along as persistent parasites, just as they did on sea ships in older days. Some even came as patient stowaways, as in the Manticore's case. The new atmosphere is responsible for some of the stranger ones; once certain animals hit the ground, they took to it like dandelion seeds on the wind. How's that? |D

OoC: xD I'm not sure I would. I love the concept of it - I've quite a liking for barren and dangerous places - but I doubt I'd last five minutes there. ... I feel like we're being watched. 8( Ahh. I'm starting to get all squirmy to start, but I don't wanna start without Winter, after I told her we were gonna wait for her. x3

OOC: Wow. :D It's absolutely nothing like Theslern. Which is why I like it. 8D Rydesa's sure to have some fun. ^^ Thanks for the update, I'm very fond of details. It bugs me when people seem to... "take over" the scenery and organize everything to how it appeals to them, like the surroundings are their own creations. Now they can't do it - legally. >3 Oh God, I'm so terribly sly and wicked, it scares me. D: Don't be so down on yourself, you would not last that long. You'd last three. I think. I know I'd spend about thirty seconds before I get eaten, or something... I have that feeling too. D8 I don't know why and I don't know how but I do. So, let's wait~ The deeper the suspense, the better. And - although I do realize how immensely long it will be xD - you gonna do a summary again?

OoC: Ahh, school got me for the past couple days. x3 I'm starting to think maybe we should just go ahead and start - no further word from Winter. I'm sure she still intends to join, but I've no idea when she'll be able to. So, I promise we will this afternoon. I'll try putting my ideas together throughout school.

OoC: What, are you a pilot now? xD Right. I have very little idea where this is going to go. I'm wingin' it. x3 "Well," blubbered a rather stocky man standing at the front of the seemingly tiny room. A living room meant to fit four wasn't much of a makeshift meeting hall, and the man's wife was less than happy about having it filled to the brim with creatures. "I'm guessing you all are here because of this." He showed a piece of paper with a short handwritten message on it to the rest of the room - one of many made to be pa-ssed around town. "As you know from my little call, and from the sky out there.. we need help. Desperately." He bowed his head. "You're the only ones we have, it seems. I'm glad you're here though; I'd really only expected a few to show up, if that. Thank you, for coming from wherever your homes may be and extending a hand to help the world." The little man took a moment to cast a grateful grin around the room, looking like he could just cry. Korr, who was hardly paying attention as it was - instead, he'd been torturing a little orange beetle on the dirt floor - took that same moment to roll his eyes. "Are you done with the mush, Chief?" he growled in a gravelly voice that hardly suited his young-looking face. "I didn't come out here to listen to you blab. Can we just hear the plan and go, before I decide to eat you and let the world die?" The smile vanished, to be replaced by a sort of annoyed grimace. "Very well." The man gestured to a piece of bark beside him, which was covered with crude drawings laid out in the form of a simple map. "First, you'll need to head along the river. It's the safest way, and by the time you reach a bend, you should be quite close to the Tree's mountain. That will probably be the most difficult part - the ground is very barren and jagged, and the area's infamous for its birds of prey. Once you reach the top, try to find some way that the Tree could help. It has to be the answer.."

Trinity's eyes never wavered from the small, stout man who was giving the speech. Until, that is, a creature to her left interrupted. She looked at him and saw that he was a manticore. Quite fearsom looking he was, really. He wanted the man to move on, and get to the plan. Trinity scowled in the manticore's direction, and then her attention returned once again to the man, who told the crowd the plan. The plan that would hopefully save the earth. What good is this going to do, anyway? she thought to herself... It was hard to find out what was going on, and why. It seemed like they were going on a journey, setting out blindly. But we have to try. Otherwise it's the end for all of us. Trinity had never thought much about "the end of the world". Because, surely, that wouldn't happen until she was long dead, or so she had thought. The red tears in the sky proved her wrong.
