Gelu walked quickly through the town, his eyes alert beneath his messy hair and his hat, which was pulled low over his face. The rain was pitter pattering against the footpath, and he didn't like it; he couldn't hear very well in it, and it clouded his vision slightly. Still, his golden brown eyes were sharp, and he managed to keep a good enough lookout. He carefully avoided contact at all with the humans, not even brushing against them as he edged past. He used to like humans, somewhat. Not anymore. Now, he just held a fascinated respect for them.
The rain had him soaked to the skin, and he kept a lookout for a place to spend the night. He didn't see anywhere particularly promising, but moved on and on, determined that he would find somewhere before the rain went heavier. Although it appeared to be easing up, it was likely it would rain down twice as hard soon enough.
