Areina watched as the girl approached the building. "She's getting closer." She whispered, her eyes Wide in amazement. Damon turned quickly, and scuffled his way over too the old bed and grabbed the pillow that lay at the head of the bed. It had a stagnant smell, but he hadn't planned on sleeping on it. 

Holding the pillow down by his side he he turned round slowly and headed back for the door. His initial plan was to hit the girl with it if she was someone planning on taking them away, It wouldn't of dome much dammaged, but it would distract her. However, his plans where foiled, as Areina had opened the door and stepped outside.

"Hello!" She called to the girl, waving her hand in the air, the other still grasping the knife tightly. 

Damon stared at his sibling, shaking his head then poked his head out of the door in the direction of the stranger, still armed with his fail of a weapon. 

Jerichos head whirled around, following her body. An unintentioned snarl appeared on her lips before realizing it was only a couple of teens maybe close to her age. She wondered briefly if they were fugatives as well, and if they were, why the girl was so loud; thats the quickest way to get caught, didnt they know? Jericho herself was going by instincts to survive, but it didnt take a genius to know not to draw attention...

Her own was drawn to the boy. Was that a pillow? Unless it was explosive, she doubted it would do any good. At least the girl had some sort of knife.

Damon kept his focus on the stranger but talked quietly to his sibling. "Why where you so loud?" He questioned, then realising that it was a pointless question. Areina looked up to her brother and grinned widely. She was never one to stay quiet. even in the most tense of situations. 

Damon rolled his eyes and chuckled looking to the pillow and tossing it back inside. He wrapped his arm around Ariena and showed his now empty hands and cocked his head forward slightly. He was unsure if the girl was harmful, if she was a fugitive, then all was well, however if she was with 'Them' at least she wouldn't kill them then and their.

"Aren't... Aren't you cold?" He asked her, getting his bearings straight. He swallowed some saliva and clenched his eyes for a few seconds. The anxiety was starting to rise. Apart from his sister, he could never talk to girls.

Jericho snorted. "Maybe," she said, tilting her head a bit. "Maybe not. My feet are, but nothing else...right now anyway." She looked down at her feet inside their size 7 boots, a size and a half too large, but got whatever jobs there were done. Her toes wriggled inside.

"Arent you gunna find a better place to stay, one with better weapon choices, perhaps?" The corners of her mouth then twirked into a smirk. "Other than a pillow, I mean." It had taken her all of five seconds to take in their situation, or at least close to it. Runaways. Orphans, perhaps.

"Whats your name? Or are you Wards?" 

Damon rubbed the back of his neck when she mentioned the pillow. His face flushed red. 

"Well, now we are, but we never used to be." chirped Areina, returning her knife to her boot. She continued "We used to have a name... But, most people do don't they." She broke out into a wide smile.

Damon lifted his head up so he facing her head on. His eyes attempted to look away but he made sure they remained on her. "I'm Damon." He paused to swallow some spit. "She's Areina." He said, making a small gesture with the side of his head. "What about your self?" He questioned her, still unsure whether or not she was like themselves, or a potential threat. 

"Yea, are you a Ward?" Continued Areina, tagging along with her sibling, only in a happier tone.

"Thats a wonderful name!" cheered Areina, hopping onto one leg. 

Damon peered down to his sister and rolled his eyes, patting her on the head. Despite her being a teenager, she was incredibly child like, apart from when she was competing in a sporting event or saving their lives like she had done on many occasions. Then she was just plain scary.

 "So... Jericho, You wan't to come inside our not-so-good hide out?" He asked her again. 

Areina chipped in once more. "The heater still works." 

Jerichos alarms went off in her head and she shook it to quiet them, speaking to herself logically.You could easily overcome them, should there be a trap. No other noises from the inside, no people watching out here...

She bowed a little mockingly and straightened, wrapping her coat around tighter. "I'd be honored to enter such a spacious abode....especially if theres a heater." 

"Great!" cheered Areina. "We'll have someone to talk to now wont we Damon?" 

Damon nodded his head nervously. "But you'll have to mind my brother, he's scared of girls." She spoke casually. As she spoke, Damon pulled the peak of his cap down over his eyes, turned, and walked back into the motel room, sitting on the bed with his head in his hands. Areina never was one to keep secrets.

Areina jogged up to Jericho and held out her hand, smiling sweetly. 

Jericho flinched slightly, barely noticeable, and looked up and around to see no one was watching. She took the Areinas proffered hand and grimaced, trying to smile. "Oh. Well, he wont have to worry, I'm not like most girls. I find it hard to act that way, actually."

"Oh," Areina Giggled taking her hand, leading her into the motel room. "If he was scared of a stereotypical girl, he would be terrified of me." She chuckled lightly. " It's just girls in general." Areina finished off, shutting the door quickly as Jericho entered, holding the door handle, rather eeirily before spinning on her toes with her rather menacing grin and sitting on the floor.

Damon flinched, In an urge to start moving, her removed his cap and tightened the bandana around his head. "Well, err, yea." He muttered, in a failed attempted to stir up a conversation quickly saved by Areina.

"We're searching for Money!" she said so openly. Pulling off her chunky black boots, placing the knife in-between her now folded legs.

"But he's your brother," Jericho said, watching. "It's different when you know the person. I generally give boys some distance but my brothers..." She broke off and shook her head. "We. Yeah. Anyway." She rubbed her hands on her jeans before bringing them up to her mouth to warm them. Then she shrugged off her pack, letting it fall to the ground with a thud and a rattle.

"So what is your objective? Or rather, how come you are out here?" Questioned Damon, finally bringing up the courage to string a whole sentence together. "We've our reasons st-stated by Areina here. Its highly coincidental that we all met don'cha think?" He exhaled slowly, placing the cap back onto his head.

Jericho shrugged. "Im a Fugative. What more is there. I was set to be unwound, but I ran away. Now I just need to survive until Im eighteen and I'll be good." Her voice was little more than a whisper towards the end; thinking. Calculating. With a little noise of dismay, she scooped up her bag and made to leave. "And I'm putting everyone I come across until then in danger."

"Were in danger too ya know." Snarled Damon in a bark of courage. "Look at our eyes. How many people do you get with Lilac eyes? And there's two of us." He gestured to himself and Areina when he mentioned the two of them.

"They would bring a high price if they got our eyes... I like my eyes. They make me feel special." Chirped Areina.

"We're Wards, we officially belong to them. Any teenager on their own is in danger. Don't think its Just you." He snapped. Standing up and heading into the small on suit bathroom closing hte door behind him. "Don't worry. He'll come round." Smiled Areina, not taking into account that her brother said a few offensive things to her.

Damon stared into the dirt encrusted mirror and removed his cap tossing it into the sink. A bead of sweat rolled down his forehead. How was he able to say all that? He had never done that before. Countless things ran through his mind in a flash. he fell back against the thin wall making an echoing thud. a cloud of dust fell from the ceiling. "Oh great." He muttered.
