Xunk stared at False, who was ruffling his feathers. "What're you--" but he broke off the end of the sentence and continued staring curiously at the Mirabilis.

False spread his black wings and fluttered in the air for a few seconds, but quickly folded his wings and started to preen his feathers, which, if you looked close enough, were bloodstained.

Coffee looked impatiently at Cerik.

"I want to go now... " she trailed off. Matsua didn't really show it but he was getting...bored, watching everybody doing things and talking instead of going to Rem. Ugh. Hurry it up, he thought.

"Okay, okay. I need one second to find it..." Cerik said. He looked around the clearing and then saw it. A tree with a marking on it only those with the Sight could see. It appeared to be a Delta (greek symbol). He pressed it with his paw and in the middle of the clearing appeared what looked kind of like a bottomless pit.

Coffee had excpected to see something ringed with light or whatever instead of an ominous black hole. She scrambled onto Matsua's shoulder. Matsua looked at the "portal" with nothing but steely cold determination.

"Okay. Do you want to go?" Cerik asked them cheerfully.

Cerik looked at all the creatu gathered around in the clearing.

"Just a warning: we have no idea what we're getting ourselves into," he said. He then walked into the portal. Instead of falling or something, which is what Matsua expected to happen, Cerik simply... Sank into the portal, the black stuff sucking him in until he was simply gone.

Matsua shivered and then walked towards the portal. Coffee clung to his shoulder. He stepped on it. He felt himself sink into the blackness. It reminded him of drowning almost. He tried not to show it but inside he was panicing.

Funnily enough when the blackness went over his head that is when he saw light. The light got closer and closer until... He found himself standing next to Cerik in the weirdest world he had ever seen. Coffee who had been riding on his shoulder the whole time got down and looked at everything with curious eyes.

"These things aren't creatu, are they?" she whispered. Cerik shook his head.

"They talk weird too," he murmered. Matsua looked up at him.

"Can you understand them?" he asked. Cerik nodded.

"Yes, but it is like they have a different accent or something is off," he said.

The creatures on this planet were strange looking. They walked on two legs. Two other leg-type-things hung at their sides. They had no fur. Maybe some kind of strange scale? Matsua doubted that. One of the creatures looked at Cerik.

"My gosh that's a huge dog," it said. The language hit Matsua's ears in a strange way even though he could understand it. He didn't like the language as much and it took him longer to understand. He did not know the word "dog" either.

This is one weird place, he thought.

"Nothing. That's not blood." he said, hastily hiding the scars the slightly showed. His body seemed to float or something, and he spread his wings as if riding a thermal. False gasped. Everything was...really different. "Whoa. Cool cat." he said, amazed. But then dread swept over him like a wave. What was a 'cat?'

Xunk's eyes were screwed shut until light tried to penetrate the darkness. He opened them, and hopped off of False, not even noticing the blood on his bright yellow fur because he was looking at the planet Rem. He could see it?!

"hey wait a minute! these things resemble my owner! i can understand them clearly!i know the words their saying! a cat is a little thing with fur and four legs and a tail and pointy ears! my woner has one. they told me all about their cat and they showed me a picture of one!"goobie says "and false if thats not blood try to eat things with ketchup less messily." she continues

"They are like owners," Cerik said. Matsua thought this over.

"Then...How did the owners get to Rescreatu?" he asked. Cerik shook his head.

"Maybe... Just a theory, but maybe some of the Owners had the Sight too and saw Res... Then they traveled to Res and sealed the portal behind them for safety purpouses," he said. Matsua thought about it. It made sense.

A man stood around, cursing under his breath. He had just lost his house and all his money. Now what? All he had was his gun. Time to find something to make money with, he thought. It was then that he looked over and saw strange looking creatures. Bingo. They even had impressive fur... Now, he could get lots of money.

Flase felt dread creep over him. He growled, and spotted a (shady) thing. "Owners?" he thought aloud. His bloodstained, dirty, ruffled feathers would be of no use to him, but Xunk's beautiful, golden, bright, yellow-ish fur was a different story... He dragged Xunk closer to him. "It's for your own protection." he warned in a ragged, low voice.

Xunk whimpered, and nodded. He felt False's fear spread on himself, too. They knew what would happen. And they knew it very well. His fur got even more bloodstained, but he couldn't erally care less at that point.

The man groaned. Good thing it wasn't such a huge height. And the creature had spoken. He didn't understand the language exactely, but he got perfectly what the creature had been try to get across. That's what you get for messing with us. How? Normal animals couldn't make people understand them that well.

He looked at his surroundings. He had to have come here of all places. A little nature reserve for the endangered species. Great. Just perfect. Now it would be hard to get back to his town and then find these strange creatures again. But he would... He got up. He was extremely sore. Those things are going to get what's coming to them, he thought. He started finding his way back.

Cerik looked around.

"Goobie, do you think you can tell us what's nearby?" he asked her. Hopefully she can... I have a bad feeling about this place, he thought.

False squawked in rage a Mirabilis (or bird) would. He beat his wings, creating a hufe, powerful wind that rammed against the man. The blood on his wings flew off, along with the raging wind.

Xunk trembled as he clutched on nervously to False's feathers. His whimpering grew louder as False's wind hit him.

goobie looks around "thats an eagle,and thats a rare species of dolphin and thats a salmon and thats a manitee and i think this is an animal reserve!" goobie says and hops on an elephants back

"Goobie sure knows a lot," Matsua muttered. Coffee looked around. "It's not abnormal for someone such as her with the sight to know things," she said. Cerik looked around.

"A nature reserve? You mean animals are so scarce here they had to make special places for them?" he said under his breath. Unbelievable... He peered down the water fall. Coffee's ears twitched and her eyes grew wide.

"No!" she screamed at Cerik. Cerik turned around and stared at her, puzzled. Suddenly a loud shot rang out. Cerik fell to the ground. Coffee ran over to him. On his light cream fur there was crimson blood pooling around his neck. His eyes stared into space. He was barely breathing.

"Remember... Human aren't.. all like this... Go back... Seal.... the.." He said weakly. His eyes rolled up into his head. Matsua walked carefully over.

"He's dead. And that blasted hunter somewhere down there killed him," he said.

False growled. "I'll get him." he hissed, taking flight immediately. The blood o his feathers was less important at the time so he ignored its sticky warmth and surged on.

It didn't take long for him to find the hiding man. A triumphant smile crept across his face deviously as he glided downwards, ready to take him down.

False's wind cut through the air like a knife. He screeched, then blasted wind at the hiding hunter. His eyes were narrowed to warning slits

Xunk hopped off of False and watched him soar away. He shuddered, and the blood flew off of his yellow pelt, splattering on the dirt. He trotted over toCerik's limp body. "Oh, no..." Xunk whispered, tears growing in his eyes.
