False heard them, but remained silent. He didn't like the place or anything, but being here unnerved him.

Xunk nodded down to them. "I agree!" he called, tails rising to acknowledge their opinion on things.

Xunk hopped off of False. "I'm faster than you can ever imagine." he said with a grin, landing on his two hind legs. A grin crept onto his face. He cocked his head upwards, watching False soar down.

False nodded. "I can fly." he said. "Who shall I carry, then?"

"I can fly too," Matsua said. He looked at Coffee. "I can carry Coffee," he added. Coffee brightened up considerably and scrambled up on Matsua's shoulder. Matsua felt Coffee's weight and new it would not be easy to fly with her. He wouldn't be able to fly high or quite as fast, but he knew that they had to get out of this place. Coffee's claws gripped Matsua tightly. He grimaced but didn't bother to tell her to stop. He took a running start and jumped off the cliff. He spread his wings out. The two wobbled for a second but in a few seconds they were flying away.

Xunk nodded. He ran off after Matsua and Coffee, catching up within seconds. He was used to running away, from predators and such creatu. He was born to run.

False nodded and flew above Xunk.

Wings beginning to ache, Matsua looked above him. Flying low around the nature preserve was a strange machine.

"It's a helicopter," Coffee whispered in his ear. These creatures must be weird to come up with something like that, he thought.

In the helicopter was a woman, about in her 30's. Beautiful long brunnette hair that fell past her shoulders to her waist and bright blue eyes that were fixed on the strange creatures flying below them.

"They're...beautiful," she breathed. Well, most of them were. Her eyes were mainly on the mirabilis's. She opened up a journal and took a pen out of her pocket and quickly sketched the animals she had just seen. She was heading towards a city that was situated near the nature park.

False falpped his black wings, the pain of being tired seeping through his body from his feathery wingtips to his shiny dark beak. He folded his legs against his body, but they sagged, limp and also tired. False gave himself a burst of energy, hoping to last through the devestating trip back to their homes.

Xunk wasn't tired at all. He surged on, bright and bloody fur like a blur. False probably wouldn't catch up to him, but if the Mirabilis fell or called, he would be able to help.

goobie saw that matsua was tired and flew over "hello! want me to carry cofee?" she said she still had plenty of energy but being a middle mirabilis was part of that.

Matsua gritted his teeth. He wasn't the type to admit he was tired but this time he did.

"Yeah," he said grudgingly. He flew close to Goobie. Coffee jumped from Matsua's to Goobie's... But just as she was about to reach Goobie's back she fell. It happened in slow motion. Coffee's eyes locked with Matsua's for a split second. In that second her eyes flashed. And then it was over. The moment of frozen time it seemed like had stopped. Coffee continued to fall.

"No!" Matsua yelled. He dived down as fast as he could so as to catch her.... But she had gone. He looked around frantically on the ground until he spotted on the forest floor a curled up small pile of ginger fur. He landed and looked at her, concern in his eyes.

She was not limp, but stiff. This meant she was still alive.

In the helicopter the woman saw a small animal fall from the group of strange unknown creatures.

"Land the helicopter!" she yelled. She didn't know why, but she knew she had to get down there.

(goobie is now adult!)

goobie flys down and snatchs up coffe flying quickly away from the copter and occasionly sending a psychic blast and pecking it

((Oohh!!! Cool! ))

"Land it!" the woman screamed again. The person who was piloting the helicopter looked back at her.

"I- I can't!" he yelled back. The woman cursed. She walked up to the pilot and shoved him out of his seat. She sat down in the driver seat and took control of the whole thing. The man stared at her in disbelief.

"Are you out of your mind?" he asked her.

"I'm going to land this thing..." she muttered. "This is what I came here for. To study animals and help save the endangered ones. I think someone is shooting here," she added. She grasped the controls and hoped what she was doing was right. She didn't have long to go before the helicopter touched the ground. The problem was something seemed to be blocking the landing. She grew frustrated and with all her strength she could muster she landed it. She got out of the copter. The creature who had fallen was gone.

She looked around and then saw a beautiful bird.... The one she had seen before. It was carrying a small scrap of fur, pecking at the helicopter. She saw dents on the helicopter where it had delt damage. She stared at it with wonder. Something behind her growled. She whirled around to see an odd creature. It was sort of medium sized and dilapidated looking, was the only word she could think of that fit its deion.

"Get away," Matsua said in a low voice. The human's blue eyes widened and he knew she had understood. She looked from him to Coffee.

"I...Can help," she said in her strange language. It felt weird reaching his ears.

"How do I know to trust you... One of your kind killed one of us," he retorted. The human's eyes narrowed, then she turned her thoughts back to Matsua.

"Not all of us are bad. I can help your friend," she said. Matsua hesitated, then nodded slowly.

"Goobie! Wait... This human can help us!," he shouted. I think, he added in his head. I hope.

False shrieked, nearly scraping the blades of the helicopter. He flapped upwards just in time to save his life, but bits of his tail feathers got sliced off. He watched the black bunches fall down sadly. And then the human... spoke to Matsua. He ignored them for a brief moment and swooped down, letting Xunk (who was finally tired) onto his back. The Paor clutched on tightly. False soared back up to Matsua and the human. "Oh, hello." he greets politely, a bit scared to be in the lady's presence, however. He felt Xunk shift uncomfortably on his back. The blonde Paor was close to the spinning blades of doom.
