Manx put down his turtle and looked at Shadow's. "Shy, eh? I'll fix that right up." He picked up the turtle, and like the hulk, he smashed it. (Manx SMASH!!!)

"huh? oh, darrah!" tomo shouted and ran after laila. "darrah..." he said, and licked her ear. "you cant be..." tomo closed Darrahs eyes. "no... you cant be!" tomo yowled loudly. he had only known darrah for a few minutes, but he still loved her!

Laila kneaded her Momma's fur. "Momma's dead now." She dug her head deep into her Momma's fur again. She wanted her Momma back now.

Shadow decided to go for another turtle and jumped back into the water. She came up with another,larger,turtle. Then she grabbed the part that was above the head in her jaws and the flap that covered the head with two paws. She pried the flap off and then reached her paw in to quickly silce off the turtle's head before she got bit.

Tomo frowned, but then looked back at laila. "so... Darrah was your mum? Wow... I would give anything to have a mum. You are lucky... Well, you used to be... Until she died..." He said, now feeling Laila's pain. Even after a few minutes Darrah felt like family to Tomo. "it's okay... Dying is a part of life. Only I wish it wasn't so sad." he exclaimed. Sitting next to darrahs dead body. Tomo looked down at her staring eyes, seeing sorrow and horrible thoughts. He closed her eyelids carefully and hugged around the body's neck.

Manx crouched down to watch. "Well, thats a biggun!" Laila groomed her mother's fur. "Her wish was to have that cat dead. I'm gonna kill it. You wanna help me?" She looked up at Tomo with hopeful eyes. If Tomo wasn't a different breed, he could be one of her quintuplets. They were the same age, they loved the same angel, plus they were on their own.

"Sure, I will help! But... What cat is it? Did you see anything?" Tomo had accepted because it was Darrah, and he had found a friend to be with. He looked strait into Laila's hopeful looking eyes and sat back. "we shall make a plan? Maybe we could attack from different angles" Tomo stopped there because he thought he was going to say too much.

Laila leaned her head to the side. "I gotta feeling..." (That tonights gonna be a good night... That tonights gonna be a good good night...)"That its a female black cat. It has a few scars, so we should be careful. A strategy would be good, we could corner her at the pier, and you'll move in from the northwest and I'll come from the southeast. I'm thinking we could drive her off the edge and drown her. Not only is it the most painful way, but humiliating to drown in our favorite liquid!"

"I saw a black female cat with a scarred eye. Maybe that's her! She might still be where I saw her... Shall we go and investigate? Oh, and your idea is great!" Tomo said to Laila, getting more and more excited. This was going to be fun, although Tomo was not very brave... He had to think about this for a second. Could he pretend until he just had to say? Could he just tell Laila that he is a scaredy cat? Tomo guessed that he would keep it to himself for a while.

Tomo giggled back, and lifted a paw to see if Laila would copy, as she seemed to be doing the same thing as him. He took two steps forward and giggled again.
