(Shadow's soft side has came out to an almost total stranger.)
Shadow woke up when she felt the warmth of the kitten leave. She got up and looked around before asked,"Where did she go?"
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Shade flicked her ear & nearly fell asleep sitting down. She wasnt used to staying up so early in the morning. Shade felt the side of her stomach and felt a surge of pain go through her waking her up. A mouse had ran under her belly and rigered a sense of catching it. She ran over to the mouse and caught it in her mouth and smiled

Shadow crawled out of the hole and said,"She's young,Manx. She shouldn't have to be guarding." She then sat down at the entrance herself to guard instead.

"Hey shadow look what i caught!" she said as she droped a dead mouse on the floor near her. Shade buffed her chest up proudly as Shadow looked at it.

She beamed at Shadow feeling special inside just the way her mother made her feel long ago. Shade walked back inside and took a glance at Manx. " I actually feel like im in a family again! ^-^ " she exclaimed at him

Shadow smiled at her and said,"Good job." She then watched her walk inside and kept looking around for danger. She felt a bit happier now that someone was around that didn't want to kill her,besides Manx.

"Hey so when is this human going to meet me?" she asked though she felt like she didnt want to. She walked down into the hole as the sun came up she wondered why the dogs were always on her like that. Shade didnt understand any other kind of animal species

Shadow went out of her home and left to find something. A few minutes later she returned with a roll of medical wrap in her jaws. She went over to Shade and dropped it.
