(XD Manx better not find out!) Manx nodded. "Definitely not." He smirked. "You know, my dad told me the story of these things. It's said that every thousand years there is a great cat gathering, and they make a sacrifice to the humans to keep them from invading our homes. One day, a cat named Sparky was chosen as the sacrifice. He lived here, in this very tunnel. He really didn't want to be killed, so he came up with a plan. He was best freinds with the executer, so he convinced him to chop up a cow and take it in his place. The executer, Lucky, placed it in a hole with wheat, lettuce, and tomatoes for the humans, and they have been eating them ever since. And that is the story of the first burger." Laila smirked. "Laila."

(lol, that story is amazing! that made me feel very hungry... might go get a snack!)
Josh lifted his head. the scent of meat was in the air, and it smelt lovely too. he followed the smell and eventually ran into the mean looking cats he saw earlier. his eyes widened with surprise and his cardboard glasses nearly fell off. "um... hi?" he mumbled, his heart thumping a million miles an hour because of this fright.

Shadow looked at the new cat and quickly went behind Manx. She hissed and pushed Manx forward. "Go away!",she yelled,knowing she couldn't risk a fight.

Shade was laughing then finally came to an abrupt stop which made Josh bump into her. "Haha! You should run faster next time!" she laughed as she handed the glasses to him. "Im Shade ^^ " she said happily

"tha- im Josh." Josh said. he hesitated whether he should say thank you or not, after all, Shade did steal his glasses. he rubbed his nose after bumping into her, then replaced his glasses on his head.

"Why do you have those anyway? Do you belong to those humans?" she asked with discust. Shade then felt her bandages and she realized her ingury had healed! But she decided to keep talking to Josh before she took the bandages off
