"Uh, yeah, Sure," Melanie said, gesturing for the two of them to sit down. "I'm Melanie Potter, this is my brother Harry, his friend Ron Weasely, and this is Hermione Granger."

"It's what I live for," Vinny said with a small laugh. "I usually don't do anything else but Quidditch, which isn't too good for my grades, but when have you ever heard of a professional getting good grades in school?" Vinny laughed at his logic, which didn't make sense because a crap load of people had good grades and still went on to play for the pros.

Akila smirked. "Actually......"She started out. Then she closed her mouth. She did a small laughed and sighed. Snowkiss, her cat, went around her leg. "Snowkiss. I thought I told you to saty up here."She smiled.

"Hmm......"She said. She grabbed the cat lightly. "Hey little one."She smiled. She loved cats, well any animal.

Damon's eyes widened as he shared a look with Stefan.

"I'm Stefan Salvatore, this is my brother Damon. Nice to meet you." Stefan smiled, taking a seat next to Hermione. Damon grimaced, sliding in next to Melanie.

"Potters, you say?" 

Damon crinkled his nose, turning his head away.

"Oh stop it, Damon. Don't mind him, raised by Malfoy." Stefan sighed, shaking his head.  

Damon cracked a smirk. "I think the whole 'Malfoy' thing is a bit overrated. They aren't bad people." Stefan nodded. 'They aren't.. Though, that might be because we're Pureblood."

"So tell me, is the whole 'Potter' thing overrated?" Damon asked, turning towards Melanie, offering her a smile.

Stefan turned to Hermione, smiling. "You must be Hermione Granger." 

"Hell yes," Melanie said with a groan. "You know how many times we're asked to show people our scars, or how many times we've been told 'You look just like your father-But you have Lily's eyes, yes. Lily's eyes indeed?'" Harry added. "A lot."

Hermione returned the smile. "Yes, I am. Nice to meet you."

Damon laughed. "Well, you don't know how many times I've pa.ssed a wizard and they gasp and point, telling me about how they'll pray for my soul." He said, shaking his head. "It's like, they're waiting for me to become a Death Eater."

"Nice to meet you two. Are the rumors about you being the smartest child in Hogwarts true?" Stefan asked. 

Melanie chuckled. "Fame isn't all what it's cracked up to be," she said with a shrug.

Hermione laughed. "Mostly. Don't like to brag, but..." She grinned. "Yeah. They're true."

"Well then, you've got some competition." Stefan chuckled.

"No, it isn't." Damon agreed. Chance struggled in his arms, unrelenting until Damon let him go. "Don't mind him, he just likes to explore." 

"That's okay, I love cats," Melanie said as Chance walked near her. She scratched the cat behind the ears.

"Well then. It's on," Hermione said with a smile.

"Bring it." Stefan smirked.

"Oh please, Stefan. I'm smarter than you. Oh, his name's Chance." Damon said. 

Chance purred loudly, trying to fold his large form into her lap. Damon chuckled, looking at him.

"Funny, he doesn't really take to strangers."
